David Brighton recently did an interview with Katrina & The Team exploring the importance of Home Inspections when purchasing a new home. This will be the single most valuable and important investment in your lifetime, so it is important to ensure you are buying the house that you think you are. Getting a trusted and professional Home Inspector to inspect the home before buying is crucial to ensuring it’s stability and health overall.
David also talks about the importance of Thermal Imaging and how equipment and training can make all the difference to a final report. If your Home Inspector is using cheaper equipment or is not trained it using this equipment, he may miss some potentially disastrous issues within the home you plan to purchase.
If you have any questions about the interview above, or to just connect with David to ask questions about Home Inspection, please feel free to call him at any time: 604.250.5557 or connect on social media. You can also go directly to the contact page and send an e-mail.

“What does an Inspection look like for the common areas of Townhouses and Condos?”
This is a great question as many of the homes I inspect are part of a larger building, and it is important to inspect the commonly shared areas within these buildings, not just the unit you are interested in.

One of the most repeated questions I get from people inquiring about hiring a home inspector is ‘what can I expect?’ This is a really good question, as there are many things that a housing inspector needs to do to assess the home you are buying or selling.
