With out a doubt Palomia, Mr. Lupe Saenz and his staff are bringing Tejano Conjunto music fans, some of the best, top notch, Tejano Conjunto Music groups in the circuit.
A todos los musicos, groupos/conjuntos, con todo el respeto que se meresen, I humbly ask for you all to please mention and acknowledge, the die hard and dedicated fan base of “Los Tejanos Y Tejanas”, during your presentations.
It’s very nice to hear the groups say “para toda la gente bonita, Mi Raza, Razita, que nos accompanan” … “para los de Houston, Dallas, San Anto, El Paso, Laredo, ‘Brounsville’, like the home town boys use to say etc. etc”. but the group announcers consistently fails to acknowledge or recognize, that most of the fans present are actually Tejanos and Tejanas, from all the cities and towns they mentioned. They traveled from far and near to support your group and enjoy the music. Please Camarads, por favor ensenenless (show them) your appreciation for their love and support of your group, by simply mentioning…”que se oiga,.. que se oiga un furerte aplauso para todos los Tejanos Y Tejanas que nos accompanan… yeah”.
My sincere appreciation and congratulations to my esteemed good friend Lupe Saenz, Polo Trejo and the rest of the Palomia for all they do to promote and maintain Viva, nuestra Musica Tejana. Con la voluntad de Dios, I’ll see you all Sunday.
