Mahalo to Wilcox Health for helping make the Keiki Run one of the favorite Kauaʻi Marathon traditions! From encouraging the keiki (KIDS) to get outside and get moving to cheering them on every step of the way, this morning was all about building healthy habits through FUN. Nearly 200 keiki come out for this event each year—and yes, chasing a giant chicken is part of the experience.

We’re proud to support Wilcox Health who invest in the health of Kauai island and the next generation.

The Rose Bowl Institute and the Rose Bowl Stadium are proud to join efforts with Neighborhood Servants, Pasadena Educational Foundation, Project Passion, and Shriners Children’s for this free community event.
The giveaway provided backpacks, school supplies, family resources, food, entertainment, and youth activities to thousands of students and families throughout Pasadena, Altadena, and its surrounding communities as students prepare for the upcoming school year. KICK IT IN THE PARK — COMMUNITY, FITNESS & WORLD CUP FUN!

All Seasons Fitness Media’s Charity Fitness Tour had a fantastic time volunteering at the FIFA-inspired “Kick It in the Park” neighborhood fan activation at Jackie Tatum/Harvard Park Recreation Center on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, for the Argentina vs. England match!

I had the pleasure of leading the kids in an exhilarating halftime cardio fitness challenge—getting everyone up, moving, smiling and having FUN! The children enjoyed soccer activities, families were treated to delicious hamburgers from the Summer Night Lights team, and our LAPD officers provided a friendly, personable community presence.

The real winner was the entire neighborhood! It was a beautiful day of families, volunteers, city departments and community partners coming together through sports, fitness, food and fellowship.

“Kick It in the Park” is a citywide World Cup celebration featuring daily match broadcasts at parks throughout Los Angeles, along with live music, dance performances and family-friendly entertainment celebrating community pride and civic engagement.

Thank you to Mayor Karen Bass, Council President Marqueece Harris-Dawson, the L.A. City Department of Recreation and Parks, the Department of Cultural Affairs, the volunteers and everyone who helped make the day so special!

Kick It In the Park — The World Cup in Every Neighborhood!

This one was personal. I grew up at 1433 W. 61st Street in Los Angeles, just about six houses down from Jackie Tatum / Harvard Park. As kids, that park was our everyday playground — football, baseball, basketball, running, games, laughter, competition, friendship, and community. So to be back at Harvard Park on June 27, 2026, supporting Mayor Karen Bass’ Kick It In the Park program felt full circle. The event brought the World Cup spirit directly into the neighborhood — free, family-friendly, no tickets, no barriers, just the community coming together to enjoy the game on the big screen with food, fun, kids, families, and positive energy everywhere. I had a great time taking photos, videos, selfies, connecting with the community, and leading an exciting halftime stretch and movement moment with the kids. They brought the energy! And yes — the Modest Coffee was great, and the tacos were delicious! Programs like this matter because they remind our neighborhoods that major world events don’t just belong in stadiums — they belong in parks, families, and communities too. Big love to the Office of Mayor Karen Bass, Marquese Harris, Los Angeles Recreation and Parks, participating Council Districts, City departments, volunteers, families, and everyone helping bring the World Cup to every corner of Los Angeles. From South LA to the world — let’s keep moving, keep playing, and keep building community.

All Seasons Fitness Media`s CHARITY FITNESS TOUR rolled to The 2026 URM- Union Rescue Mission 5K/10K at Griffith Park!

Today had a little bit of everything — community, movement, music, prayer, purpose, laughter, and a whole lot of heart. It was an honor for All Seasons Fitness Media`s Dion Jackson, to help kick off the morning with the pre-race warm-up and bring some positive energy to the runners, walkers, families, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters. Seeing everyone moving together before the race was a powerful reminder that fitness is more than exercise — it’s connection, encouragement, and community. I also had the pleasure of meeting URM CEO Mark Hood, whose leadership and heart for service was truly inspiring. Great seeing my friend KTLA/5 News Reporter Erin Myers, and it was great to speak with longtime family friend, Pastor Frederick Price, who opened the morning with prayer, and set a meaningful tone for the day. From finish line, smiles, dancing, a great DJ, Urban Voices Project, and friends cheering each other on — the whole day felt welcoming, joyful, and filled with love. Thank you to Union Rescue Mission for the incredible work you continue to do for our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Every step, every mile, every gift, and every volunteer moment matters. Events like this remind people that they are seen, loved, supported, and not forgotten. Grateful to be part of the mission.

We all had a great time Monday at the Century City Chamber of Commerce`s 45th Annual Golf Tournament at beautiful Mulholland Hills Country Club! Dion Jackson was happy to support our friend, Nancy Wood, President & CEO of the Century City Chamber of Commerce, and be part of such a fun, classy, and community-driven day. From meeting new friends and making new connections, to watching golfers enjoy the beautiful course, fun contests, golf ball air cannon, hole-in-one challenges, Nike apparel, swag, delicious food and drinks, awards cocktail reception, silent auction, and raffle — the whole day had great energy from start to finish. What made it even better was knowing it all supports the programs, services, and community connections the Chamber provides throughout the year. Great people, great course, great cause, and another beautiful day of connection through All Seasons Fitness Media.

The event featured giant match screen, youth soccer clinic, family fun zone, community tables, and no tickets or registration required — just people showing up to celebrate soccer, family, movement, and community. Sunday, June 14, 2026 — Kick It in the Park, Cheviot Hills! What a beautiful day volunteering with @mayorofla Karen Bass, and her “Kick It in the Park Team” at the Cheviot Hills Recreation Center. I had to leave early because I had a plane to catch — and of course my phone went dead right when I still wanted to capture more! But before that happened, I was able to capture the whole essence of the event: families smiling, kids kicking the ball, people from all over the world coming together, and Los Angeles showing what community looks like at its best. From @factorsfamousdeli serving great food, to kicking the soccer ball with the kids, to meeting new people in a beautiful family-friendly park setting, the energy was positive, welcoming, and full of joy. The event featured giant match screen, youth soccer clinic, family fun zone, community tables, and no tickets or registration required — just people showing up to celebrate soccer, family, movement, and community. It was great talking with the knowledgeable @metrolosangeles reps there. We had a great conversation about the new D Line, and it`s great knowing that when it is finished, it will include a stop close to The VA Hospital. That means so much for our veterans — making it easier for them to go back and forth to see their doctors, stay connected, and get the care they deserve. That’s bigger than transportation. That’s service. That’s access. That’s community. A big thank you to Mayor Karen Bass, LA Rec & Parks, Councilwoman @cd5losangeles – Katy Yaroslavsky, the Kick It in the Park team, Metro, Factor’s Deli, volunteers, staff, families, and everyone who helped create such a positive day. All Seasons Fitness Media`s Charity Fitness Tour rolled over to El Camino College ‘s “Living Well at Every Age” Expo Saturday! What a wonderful day of health, wellness, education, community, and connection. I was honored to represent the legacy of my father, Dr. Nathaniel Jackson, who dedicated nearly 30 years of service to El Camino College as an instructor, dean, trustee, and board president. He was instrumental in helping establish programs and services that opened doors for countless students throughout the South Bay. Seeing his portrait displayed prominently in a building he helped create was a proud and emotional moment for our family. It was especially meaningful to see both sides of my family—the Jacksons and the Webbs—come together in support of this special event. I am incredibly proud of my niece, @kewty76 whose leadership helped make the day such a success. The seniors were fantastic and embraced the light fitness workout with enthusiasm. We stretched, danced, and moved to some funky music, and shared the importance of staying active at every age. A special thank you to Congresswoman @repmaxinewaters, who spent time visiting ALL the vendors, listening to attendees, and supporting the community throughout the day. From health screenings and educational workshops to CPR demonstrations and wellness resources, the event truly lived up to its theme: Living Well at Every Age. Dad, your legacy continues to inspire.

A beautiful day of community, compassion, wellness, awareness, and hope. Great connecting with NBC4’s @annabellesedano, Telemundo 52’s @sandraoneilltv, Olympic gymnastics talent Jordan Chiles, and actress/model Caylee Cowan Hasselhoff, along with passionate volunteers, CEOs, sponsors, media teams, and supporters all coming together for mental health awareness. Jordan Lucella Elizabeth Chiles, is an American artistic gymnast and a senior at UCLA. She’s been a member of the US national gymnastics team since 2013. Chiles is a two-time Olympic medalist, winning silver in 2020 and gold in 2024. In 2024, she also took home individual silver medals for floor exercise and vault. Chiles has also won gold at the 2022 World Championships. She was great today! The energy throughout the park was strong, uplifting, and heartfelt. Inspiring speeches reminded everyone how important it is to continue the conversation around mental health, emotional wellness, support systems, movement, kindness, and community connection. Special thanks to the incredible sponsors, vendors, organizers, walkers, families, and every person who showed up today to make a difference. Mental fitness is just as important as physical fitness.
