When we talk about Iron Wood Motorcycles we think about old BMW transformation, very slick, small tank, or edgy forms very scrambler style. Here they have taken a pretty new BMW GS R1250 into something else.  It's far from its original form. We think about Husqvarna or Tron movie, when we see it. Lets take a look :

They have done a perfect dosage on the machine. Especially the upholstery and the custom metal shield done respectively by Jeroen Bouwmeester at Silvermachine and craftsman, Marcel van der Stelt at The Custom Factory. The paint job, done by Jacco at Royal Kustom Works. It's all about professionnals going into details.

Added to that a bunch of good stuffs, like Brembo calipers, machined engine covers 'option 719', R Nine-T rearset, in fact lot of good stuffs from other BMW's motorrad, Except for the custom CNC-machined Triple tree.

The flying car is finally here! Well, almost. The Pal-V Liberty debuted at the Geneva International Motor Show this year and is billed as the worlds first production flying car.

Pal-V is now taking pre orders for the hybrid vehicle and is set to be delivered in 2019. The vehicle touts a top road speed of around 160 kmh in under 9 s while the maximum flying speed is 180 kmh. If you are thinking of picking one up and hauling around all of your friends don't get too excited. The vehicle only accommodates two and its no surprise the driver will need a flying license on top of your regular driving permit. It's said the car/plane hybrid can transform from driving mode to flying mode in under 10 min requiring a few manual adjustments. Though the Liberty is small enough to park in your garage you'll still need some room for takeoff and landing.

The Liberty is certified to fly under U.S. and European safety agencies while meeting standard road safety requirements. With these certifications you can't help but ponder the hurdles and work that has gone into getting this thing to mainstream production.

Pal-V is definitely not the only company looking into mainstream flying cars. But, it seems they may have a leg above the rest.

The limited edition model retails at 499,000 euros and will be limited to a run of 90 vehicles. The Liberty Sport will be available following the limited edition release and will be available for an expected 299,000 euros.

We talk a little about electric motorcycles sometimes, but here we wanted to show you a beautiful bike, a beautiful custom, and if it is electric it does not detract from its beauty. This bike made from a Ducati Scrambler, belongs to the director of Ducati Thailand and it named it 'Project D-EV.' From there to say that this machine will be in production, that neni! The Thai scene is very fond of customs of all cylinders, it is not uncommon to cross excellent customizations based on 125cc. This time a nice part of the cycle may be a whole other mill in, a 33kW powered 5.6kWh Lithium-ion battery (like the leaf and the Tesla you see?). And it gives an amazing torque of 107Nm (79ft-lb) at 6500rpm .. oh no directly from the first turn, it's electric! And everyone is talking about autonomy, ben 100km here! Speed ​​160km / h! We would like a little more. But there is not the essential 165 Kg (364pb) which saves him 5Kg compared to the engine version explosion.

So what's changed ? A training belt instead the chain, a machined rear arm, superfluous removed on the back : here are the pictures!

Electric motorcycles are becoming more and more common. We’ve seen several cool EV-projects that are to production and more of us see the benefits of the electric motorcycle. We think we will see more customs EV soon.

We were talking about inspiration on the last Bike of the month. It's very difficult for us to choose a good bike among all we can see, so this time we decided to show you some of the most Inspirationnal bikes we crossed on the internet ! Hope it could be usefull for you own custom bike !

We are talking about a real transformation here ! Build in an appartment of Chicago by one guy. Tip hat ! Could you recognize something about the donor bike ? A Buell Blast !! Everything has been rethinking, redone, modified. A lot of good stuff to pick !

Directly from the mind of a Turkish designer Mehmet Doruk Erdem. If you wanna eard the all story go there. But simply, it's a fiber armor, and it took a lot of time to have it like this. The bike also is unrecognizable, if it hasn't a the rotor logo from the Bayern brand, who could recognize it as a BMW (maybe the gauges too)?

This one also got a story, it's something about a reconstitution, and a restauration. We know Revival for their special customs and also their youtube channel, where they explain and show lot of stuffs. The guys fron Texas this time show all of thir art in this bike, it's a reproduction from a BMW racer... But in fact, it's not. It's more inspired by Ernst Henne's record setting 1928 BMW R37 racer. And definitly a custom motorcycle by Revival Cycles. They took a BMW R100 7 serie from seventys and build this "hommage" with all their "savoir-faire", et voilà !

There is a french team which decided to make their project bike instead a client one. They chose a Kawasaki GPZ 1100 and rip it off till the last nut. Aluminium custom fairing, amazing handmade paint, details, engine special preparation from 1100 to 1200cc. Everything on it make it special ! The month of February is very cold and snowy... you can't even go outside with your bike! During these cold months we warm up and comfort ourselves as best we can. And what better way than get inspired by the best montages of the month. So, here for you, from Spain and sun... the most inspiring bike we've seen for a while : the BMW R100 Silver Bullet, created by XTR Pepo and originally commissioned by Revival Of The Machine magazine.

You likely haven't missed the evolution to MKII. So instead, just for you, we will show you the origins of this custom!

The hand made wooden saddle and inlay surrounding the tank watch dial are superb. Not to mention the choice of leather which tops off these components.

The tank and fairing are works of art that speak for themselves.

A few additional details we like are the engravings along the exhaust and the concealed speedometer, which act as to not detract from the bikes overall image.
