2 years ago, I met Richard Corbett for the first time to record Episode 47 of the Andrew Deitsch Podcast.
We sat down and he told his powerful story of spinal cord injury, addiction, suicide, and recovery publicly for the first time.
This was the exact reason why I started my podcast.
To give people a platform where they could share their stories and talk about deep subjects.
After listening to his episode over and over, Richard realized he had something to say, and decided that he wanted to create something even bigger.
I started working as his producer full time, and he let me build my podcast studio in his condo.
We were an amazing team, and our business relationship and friendship grew stronger and stronger.
Over the past year, Richard and I have been traveling around the country shooting videos for the Wheels2Walking YouTube channel.
7 Million views later, we realized that we had a lot more to talk about than just wheelchair stuff, but I knew that I couldn't just keep having him as a guest on my show.
Today, we're launching our brand new weekly show where we talk about current events, what it's like being full time YouTubers, and dissect our unique friendship / business relationship.
If you've been a fan of the ADP, I know you'll really enjoy the Wheels2Walking Podcast.
This is a huge step for me to totally change up my platform, but I know this is the right move.
The first 6 episodes are live now everywhere you listen to podcasts, but please please please go leave us a review on Apple Podcasts 😁

Now 16 months later, he has launched his new platform, Wheels2Walking, where he creates entertaining and educational content for newly injured wheelchair users.
Richard and I have been working together heavily on this project for the past 6 months, and we are so excited for everyone to check it out.
During this episode we talked about our recent trip to LA, our collaborative relationship, why Richard has had the biggest impact on my show, his new platform, our crazy photoshoot with world renowned photographer, Simon Needham, and the future of Wheels2Walking.
If you want to hear more from Richard and I, we actually have a new podcast on Patreon called the "Wheels2Walking Podcast!" Every week we sit down to talk about the behind the scenes of Wheels2Walking videos and chat about the perspectives of a wheelchair user (Richard) and an able bodied person (that's me!).
It's a really fun podcast, and it's only $10 to get access to this exclusive content.

FGM is a cultural practice of altering or 'cutting' female genitalia.
It is not done for any medical purpose. It is not endorsed by any religion, but is a local tradition that occurs in multiple countries, including Africa and Eastern and Middle Asia. It is based on a fallacy that FGM somehow preserves a woman's virtue or prohibits promiscuity as they mature, making her more appealing as a wife and mother. Victims experience major lifelong medical issues and the harm to their emotional health is unfathomable. They live in shame and are afraid to speak about how their disfigurement has impacted their sense of wholeness as a woman. Dr. Bloodworth has more than thirty-five years of surgical experience, and he's one of the few doctors in the world who is performing this life changing surgery for victims of FGM.The most amazing part, this surgery is offered at NO COST to the victims. On March 29th, 2017, my friend Graham sent me a text that said "Hey you wanna meet up after work one day and be on my podcast? (No pressure)"
I hadn't seen Graham in a long time and I didn't know what I wanted to talk about... but I thought, "What the hell?" This will be fun. I had never been on a podcast before.
Graham moved to Chicago a few months later and announced that he was discontinuing the podcast. He uploaded one final episode explaining why he was ending it, and my episode never saw the light of day.
A couple of months ago, I told him how much this podcast had an impact on me, and how it really did inspire me to start my own. I asked him if it was cool if I released this podcast, and said he would send me the files.
On this episode we talked about our experiences with psychedelic mushrooms, why traveling is so important, my experiences of living as an Au Pair in Spain and Italy, and why Tomorrowland is the best music festival of all time.
At the time I had no idea how many people would listen to this, so this is possibly the most unfiltered I have ever been.
Hope you all enjoy it. Here's to the next 100 uploads.

My guest today is Zander Yost. He's a Cryptocurrency Investor, Athlete, Entrepreneur, & Musician. Zander and I have been friends since we were 10 years old. He was an all star football player in high school, and he got recruited to play at the Naval Academy and then Georgia Southern.
Last year, he quit his job that was paying him 6 figures a year to start a hedge fund centered around the future of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. If you want to hear his full story you can go back to Episode 66.
Since our last episode in December of 2017, it seems like a lot of the buzz and hype surrounding bitcoin and cryptocurrency has been dwindling. Recently, Zander been getting a lot of questions about what to do and what the future holds for crypto, and he wanted to come back on the show to talk about what's been going on.
On this episode we talked about the future of cryptocurrency and why it isn't going away, what caused bitcoin to crash last year, and the practical implementations of cryptocurrency in our society.
Make sure you follow Zander on Instagram: @ZanderYost
He posts amazing covers of his favorite songs, go check it out.

My guest today is Austin Distel, CMO of Proof.
Last time I had Austin on the show was Episode 15, where he shared his story, his upbringing, and what he was working on. A LOT has happened in the past 9 months, and most notably, he moved from Annapolis, Maryland to Silicon Valley with his company, Proof.
On this episode, he shared the story of how they went through the famous seed accelerator, Y Combinator earlier this year. This 3 month process culminates in Demo Day, when the startups present their companies to a carefully selected, invite-only audience. On this episode, he shared the story of how they reached their funding goal just 72 hours after their 2 minute pitch on demo day.
This was a value packed episode for sure. If you're into entrepreneurship, technology, or startups, you're gonna love this episode.

My very special guest today is Casey Neistat. He's one of the most popular creators on YouTube, he's a filmmaker, a vlogger, and co-founder of the multimedia company Beme.
He's one of my biggest creative inspirations, and this week I ran into him at the airport! He had a little bit of time before his flight, and he agreed to record a short podcast right there in the terminal! I couldn't believe it.
Recently, Beme was shut down, his YouTube channel hasn't had an upload in almost 3 weeks, and he has started uploading on other platforms. So of course I took the opportunity to ask him about all of that and more.

My guest today is Ryan Helms, the founder of Grit & Hustle. Last November he raised over $13,000 on Kickstarter to launch a tool called the Side Hustle Journal that gives 9 to 5'ers a system to turn their business idea into reality no matter how busy they are.
After a spontaneous trip to Africa he realized he needed to get his shit together and create a system so that he could have the freedom to take more trips and experience more out of life. He created a rough draft of what would eventually become the Side Hustle Journal, and he was able to pay off $35,000 in debt in 6 months by simply executing on his business plan.
Now the Side Hustle Journal has helped hundreds of other aspiring side hustlers to do the same. He's sharing those stories through the Hustle to Freedom Podcast that is launching March 26, 2018.

My guest today is Mexican actress, host, producer, and director, Verónica Macías. Verónica has been in showbiz for over 25 years, and she is very well known in Mexico and other Spanish speaking countries. In the late 90's, she was the star of the hit candid camera show, "El Balcon de Verónica."
As a college student, she was given an assignment that changed her life forever. It's an amazing story of what can happen if you put yourself out there, and follow your heart.
She also shared her struggles in the early days of her career, and how she came up with the segment that eventually became her breakout show. I had a lovely time getting to know Verónica, and it was an honor to sit with her to hear her story.
Make sure to follow her on Instagram: @VeroMaciasTV and Twitter: @VeroMaciasTV

My guest today is my friend and mentor, Brian Garland. Brian has a very diverse job description, but at the end of the day he is an entrepreneur, a father of 3, and an amazing salesman. I've had the pleasure of knowing and working for Brian and his family for the past five or six years at their Christmas Tree Lot, and I've gotten a much better idea of what they do.
He has his fingers in many different industries and he knows people in many different circles. He's one of the most well connected people that I know, and it pays off.
On this episode, Brian shared how he got his start in business, some of his favorite deals and best stories, how his company became the liquidation company for the Georgia Dome demolition, his advice for young people, and what it's like being in business with his family.
I want to Thank Brian again for being on the show and giving us his opinions and insight into what he does.

Go download the VinWiki app. It's free, and it's available on iOS, Android devices, and the Web. If you want to learn more about Ed's Cannonball Run, you can purchase his book, titled "For the Record," which is available on Amazon, and of course you can go watch the VinWiki YouTube channel to get your fix of more car stories.

]]>I stumbled upon Sean while I was watching some videos about cars on a YouTube channel called VinWiki. He was a lot younger than the rest of the guys on the channel, but I wasn't really sure how old he was. I did a little bit of Facebook stalking, and I reached out to him. Of course you never know how a cold message will go over, but he was really friendly and after a few messages back and forth we set up a time to meet at his office to record a podcast.
I knew Sean was a huge car guy, but what I didn't know is that he runs a company called STORD that he founded 2 years ago. They've raised a quarter of a million dollars in funding, and Inc.com named them top 30 emerging companies of 2017. The craziest part? Sean is only 20 years old, and he's currently a student at Georgia Tech.
I have to say this was one of my favorite podcasts so far, and I want to thank Sean for being on the podcast, and I wish him luck in all of his future endeavors. If you are in need of warehouse solutions, you need to get in touch with STORD.

If you follow me on Facebook, you could have actually watched this one live since we did a Facebook live during the whole thing. This was the first time trying that out during a podcast, but this should have better audio quality than the facebook version since we were all mic'ed up for this. ]]>I was put into contact with JC a couple of weeks ago, and when I saw her list of credits and her stunt reel, I was blown away. After college, she moved to Hollywood and made her debut as Delta Lotta Pain on Women of Wrestling. Wrestling soon transitioned into working as a stuntwoman on over 100 productions. She has recently been featured as an actress in several productions in the past couple of years, and she is not showing any signs of slowing down.
I'm sure you're familiar with some of the productions she's been a part of such as: Last Holiday, Girls Trip, Baby Driver, The Avengers, The Hangover, The Hunger Games, Stranger Things, Parks & Rec, The Walking Dead, and most recently starring as Shaundra in the Netflix Original Movie: Naked.
Her list of credits is insane, and her stories are even crazier, but I'll let JC tell the rest. I had a great time getting to know her, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Graham has been working as a grip on the set of The Walking Dead for a while now, and during this conversation we were able to answer a lot of questions about the show, what it's like to work on the set of large productions, how labor unions work, and more. I learned a lot about film and TV production that I hadn't thought about before.

Just over a month ago I started uploading these and about 750 people are listening to them every day, so there's a pretty good chance that if you're listening to this right now, there is someone else who is listening to this podcast right now too. Even with the week hiatus, I have still stayed consistent with my daily number of listeners, probably due to the amount of content I have pumped out in the past month!
On this episode, I will be sharing what happened to episode 23, sharing my favorite new podcast that I have been listening to, preview the next episode, and I am also having a giveaway so make sure to listen to the end of this episode to find out how you can enter. If none of that interests you, I suggest you switch to one of the other episodes where I have an amazing conversation with an interesting person!
A couple of days ago I found Dr. Jordan B. Peterson's podcast and I am listening to his lecture series called "Psychological Significance of the Biblical Stories"
The series is being recorded in Toronto in front of a live audience every week this summer. Its extremely fascinating because although Dr. Peterson isn't religious he carefully examines the significance behind the Bible and why it has played such a huge role in history. Too often do you hear intellectuals completely writing off the bible as a collection of silly stories, but Dr. Peterson thinks it's not that simple. I am on the second episode of this series, and it's extremely fascinating stuff. If you are into psychology or the ideas of religion and human behavior I would highly recommend this podcast.
Episode 24 is coming up next with my friend Chad Jarry. Chad and his brother own a clothing brand called Wool Brothers. They have gotten a ton of traction since launching a few months ago. They have started off with hats, and let me tell you after hearing Chad's episode I know you all will need one of your own. During this episode we talked about his inspiration behind the company, obstacles that they have had to overcome, the causes that they support, and what to expect next from Wool Brothers. That podcast will be released very soon so stay on the lookout.

If you're joining me for the first time, I want to welcome you to the show! Thanks for checking it out. I'm really glad you have decided to join all of us!

I met Alex about 5 years ago, around the time when he was first auditioning for American Idol. He basically dropped out of college to go compete in the third round. He almost got through, but you'll hear that whole story in just a bit. Needless to say, Alex didn't stop, and he has so much exciting stuff coming soon. His Album, "Lessons Learned" is available on iTunes, Spotify and wherever else you listen to music.
In this episode we talked about how he got into music, his experience with American Idol, dealing with depression, going on a giant road trip across America, going on tour with his band, how he got the commercial with Jennifer Hudson, assembling his band, and much more.
He has new music coming very soon so make sure to follow him on Facebook & Instagram to stay updated. Check out his website for all of his upcoming tour dates.

]]>On this episode Will and I talked about his upbringing and how it shaped him into being a comic, his intro into the world of comedy and the racial segregation that still exists in the comedy world, some stories of him totally bombing onstage, and his stories of hanging out with T.I. Needless to say, this was one of the funniest podcasts I have done so far, and it was super fun getting to know Will.
Make sure you follow Will on Instagram, Twitter, as @ WTFoskey and on Youtube

I just added it all up and it was about 47 HOURS OF CONTENT. I can't even believe we did it. I kind of can believe it because I have put so much work into this project, but when you put down the actual number 47 hours it seems like a lot. So if you have taken the time to listen to all of them, you literally have listened to my podcast for almost 2 whole days of your life. That's bonkers. I honestly don't think there is anyone out there who has listened to every single one all the way through, but if you have, and you're out there, I want to say thanks for the love!
Also over the course of this month, my analytics are showing that I have had over 2,700 unique listeners, and I am averaging about 700 unique people accessing my podcast feed. If you add it all up since I launched, per day I have had over 17,000 downloads. That means that on average if there are 2,700 listeners, each person has downloaded an average of about 6 episodes. The fact that almost 3 thousand people cared enough to check this out is insane. I also have to thank all of the amazing guests that I have had so far: Adam, Ashlyn, Davis, Tyler, Trey, Parker, Dre, Elizabeth, Graham, Owen, Jamie, Matthew, Conner, Remi, Austin, CC, Morgan, Luke, Cameron, Lyndsay, Will, and Alex you guys are the best and I want to thank you guys for believing in me and being such good friends. Without you guys and your friends listening, I would have no show. Especially those of you who recorded before even one episode was released and trusted me enough to put something good out. Y'all are the real MVP's.
Okay, enough with the cheesy award acceptance speech. We have a long way to go before we get featured in the iTunes store and we really really really need to get in there. That will really be the main factor if this thing takes off. I've got 4 more weeks to get in the New & Noteworthy section, so if each of you listening can go rate the podcast in the iTunes store, that would help my ratings go through the ROOF! It takes like two minutes. Every single review counts and I read them all so if you want to give me some feedback that is a great place to do that.
Episode 21 is with the hilarious Comedian, Will Foskey (@WTFoskey). Will has been doing stand up for a few years now and he has directly worked with a ton of really talented people including: DC Young Fly (@dcyoungfly)who is on MTV's Wild'n Out, Emmanuel and Philip Hudson (@emanhudson & @lantbo) and many more. Combined, those three guys have 7 million followers on Instagram so obviously Will is doing something right. Will and I have a few mutual friends and he reached out to me to be on the podcast. At first, I was a little bit hesitant to do the podcast since I had never met this guy before, but I thought, okay I'll give this guy a chance. If he's funny I'll have him on. So I found a clip on Youtube from one of his stand up comedy shows to see if he sucked. He obviously did NOT suck, and I was cracking up the whole time. I messaged him back and told him I was totally down. On this episode Will and I talked about his upbringing and how it shaped him into being a comic, his intro into the world of comedy and the racial segregation that still exists in the comedy world, some stories of him totally bombing onstage, and his stories of hanging out with THE T.I. Episode 22 is with my good friend, Alex Guthrie (@theAlexGuthrie). Alex is an amazingly talented musician and photographer. You may recognize him from the nationally aired ad campaign he recently did with Jennifer Hudson for American Family Insurance. I keep seeing him everywhere on billboards, hearing his commercial on the radio, and on TV, its so crazy that he is everywhere! Every time I see it I freak out and I can't believe I'm friends with this guy! I met Alex about 5 years ago through some mutual friends around the time when he was first auditioning for American Idol. He basically dropped out of college to go compete in the third round before getting turned down by one judge who convinced another judge to give him a "No" as well. Needless to say, Alex didn't stop, and the future is super bright. His album, Lessons Learned is available on iTunes, Spotify and wherever else you listen to music, and he has new music coming very soon. In this episode we talked about how he got into music, his experience with American Idol, dealing with depression, going on tour, how he got the commercial with Jennifer Hudson and the story of how it was a complete surprise, getting together his band and how they record, and much more. This was one of my favorite episodes so far, and don't forget to go listen to Alex's music. You won't regret it. I am going to be releasing that episode tomorrow so keep it locked right here.
Episode 23 I am actually recording later tonight with Actress, Heidi Uzelac (@HeidiUzelac). This podcast is delayed, but I wanted to include it in this weekly update since I will be releasing it soon. Since we haven't done the podcast yet I can't guarantee what we will be talking about, but I assume we will talk about how she got into acting and what its like dealing with Hollywood and that world, her daily routine and how she stays focused, meditation, her favorite books, and whatever else we end up talking about. I am super excited for tonight and I will post that episode soon.

Lyndsay moved to Washington, DC six months ago, and didn't know a soul. Just straight hustled from the ground up living in some ridiculous housing environments to now having a ballin' apartment with her roommate, Dana, who makes some tasteful cameos in this episode. She has always wanted to move out there, and I am super duper proud of her for conquering her fears and just going for it. She was also sick the day that we recorded this, and she still totally killed it. I was kinda afraid we wouldn't be able to record when she told me that she got sent home from work since she was sick, and she still rallied through. That's just the kind of person she is.
On this episode we covered a lot of topics. She shared her stories from her childhood growing up in England, the stories of the impact her dad made on her life, her dad passing away last year, and at the end we talked some good ol' american politics. Lyndsay is such a strong woman and I really want to thank her for being so vulnerable and sharing so much with us. Death is never a fun subject, but I'm really glad we were able to talk about it and hopefully listening to this can help some other people who may be dealing with loss right now, too. Make sure to follow her on Instagram @LyndsCarreno

In this episode, Cameron shared her story of her upbringing, why she dropped out of college, her crazy stories of styling celebrities in LA and why its not as glamorous as it seems, and we talked men's fashion, the taboos surrounding it, and some do's and don'ts for the guys out there. I have been getting into men's fashion more and more over the past year and it was really fun to talk about all that stuff surrounding men's fashion with her. Cameron is also going to be starting her own podcast soon, so stay tuned for that. I can't wait to be a guest on her show and I will let all of you guys know when she officially launches it. Make sure you follow Cameron for more fashion content and hit her up if you have any questions or you need some advice. I'm talking to you, Nike Sock wearing dudes.

Since high school he has been on the news, on the radio, and he has gained a sizable following on Instagram and Facebook due to his involvement in all the various things I mentioned that he does. In this episode, Luke shared some amazing stories of his epic road trips, the famous story of how he got on the news for his unique business idea, his huge recent win with Students for Concealed Carry, how he outsmarted Donald Trump's campaign and beat them to the punch on a great business idea, his activism with fighting Human Trafficking and the Sex industry in Atlanta with Nightlight International, and his lifting styles in the gym and his diet. I have wanted to have Luke on my podcast since I started this thing, and I really enjoyed catching up with him.

I have been reaching out to other podcasters and getting connected with some other people in this space, and tons of people have been commenting on my audio quality! I didn't really think it was that big of a deal until I started listening to some other podcasts that were just getting started, and I'm not trying to be mean, but most of them just aren't up to my standards. It doesn't really take much to have professional sounding audio. My entire setup excluding my computer and the editing software I use was only about $260. There is a bell curve to how much the equipment costs versus how much better your audio will sound. For example my Lavalier Microphones that cost 40 dollars each are going to sound a lot better than the microphone that comes on your phone. BUT you could still get really good, crisp audio on your phone microphone, too. Most people just aren't recording in the right environment. The environment you are recording in can take your recording from a 3 to a 7. If you are recording in an super echo-ey environment or there is a bunch of noise in the background like the A/C running really high or a refrigerator running in the background it can be really challenging to get listenable audio quality. If people only had to listen to it for a few minutes it would be fine, but these people are listening for hours at a time. They don't want to hear a constant humming in the background. I try my best to record in environments that don't have those negative qualities to make the post-production as easy as possible. I do all of my editing myself, so the less time I have to spend fixing the audio the better. I also want to get into the New & Noteworthy section in the iTunes Store and Podcast app and I know that in order for Apple to feature my podcast it's going to have to be up to their standards as well.
Speaking of featuring podcasts, I wanted to take the time to share two podcasts that I have listened to this week that I think you guys would really enjoy as well if you enjoy my content here.
The first podcast that I highly recommend is The Joe Rogan Experience: Episode #974 with Megan Phelps-Roper. Megan used to be a prominent member of the radical religious cult, the Westboro Baptist Church. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Westboro Baptist Church, they are especially known for their hate speech towards the LGBT community, Catholics, Muslims, Jews, and basically everyone else on earth. Their church website is godhatesfags.com, and they also have made statements such as, "thank God for dead soldiers," "God blew up the troops," "thank God for 9/11," and "God hates America." They picket soldiers funerals, religious gatherings, gay pride rallies and more. Megan left the church a few years ago and in this amazingly powerful interview she gives a surprising inside look on what goes on inside the church, how talking with people on Twitter helped her realize the errors in the church doctrine, and why she no longer is affiliated with them, and how she escaped the church. It was one of my favorite podcasts I have listened to in a while and you shouldn't miss out.
The other podcast I would recommend this week is Control-Walt-Delete with legendary tech reporter Walt Mossberg and Nilay Patel. The episode is called Walt and Nilay Sign off. This was the final episode of Control Walt Delete, so if you like this podcast it is unfortunately all over because Walt is retiring, but they have 75 other episodes from the past 2 years that you can go back and listen to. Walt Mossberg was personal friends with Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, and tons of other billionaire tech entrepreneurs, so he has some amazing stories about those guys. This final episode was recorded in front of a live audience in New York City, with a Live Q&A as well. If you are a tech-nerd like me, you will really enjoy that podcast.
Okay so now I am going to take the time to answer a few questions that I have been getting.
Some people, mainly my parents and their friends that want to listen to my podcast, are commenting on my use of "iinappropriate" language, and I thought I would address that. I have a very reasonable explanation for why I choose to swear on this podcast that I think is pretty logical.
Number 1: I don't want to filter myself. In any way. I want to be as transparent and open as possible. I have no interest in censoring myself. Transparency is a huge driving factor behind this podcast and I think that being as open with my audience allows for vulnerability, and that is the only way to build trust.
Number 2: I don't want to filter my guests. I want my guests to feel as comfortable as possible. I don't want them to change or filter their responses just because lots of people are listening. I also think it would be silly for me to censor myself, but then allow my guests to curse. By allowing myself the freedom to curse, it lets my guests know that they can be free to express themself however they want to as well. Of course their will be some guests who I know don't swear out of personal convictions or whatever, so you will probably not find me swearing on those episodes.
Number 3: I think that I owe my listeners my real thoughts and feelings. Some people have commented that they think my cussing seems kind of forced, especially in the first episodes. I think that is because in the back of my mind there is a slight hesitation before I do it. Since this is being put out there for everyone to hear, there's a voice in my head telling me to not say it, but like I said, I have made the decision to not filter myself, so I say it anyways. Pretending that I don't swear in real life is just preposterous and putting on a filter to separate myself from the virgin ears of the listeners seems disengenuous. Over the course of this podcast I think it will become more natural.
Number 4: Times are changing. The line between professional and unprofessional is blurring every day. We can't stop pretending to live these double lives. I don't want to have this weird voice that I only use when I know someone is listening. Its fake and gross, and everyone can tell its weird. Throwing in a curse word lets people know that you don't take things too seriously and that you are comfortable. The more we police language the more power you give to the word. The more we use these taboo words, the quicker they will lose their power. If they are such "bad words" don't we want them to lose their power? I think so. I think that having curse words in are an automatic filter for those who are not open minded enough to look past them. If it truly offends you, then maybe you shouldn't be listening to my podcast. If you are still listening at this point then I think you will be fine.
The next question is something that I have been wrestling with. I was recently contacted by an Olympic Gold Medalist and motivational speaker and I really want to have her on the podcast. The only problem is she lives in New York. Eventually I want to be able to use this podcast as a way to travel and see the world. I would love to be able to fly up there and do a podcast but right now with my work schedule its just not a reality. So the question is: Am I going to do virtual podcasts where I am not in the same physical space as my guests?
I am torn because I really want to have her and others on the podcast, but I hate virtual interviews. They are not as intimate and there is a weird disconnect you get when you are not in the same room. The other problem is the audio quality. Like I mentioned earlier I really want to make sure my audio quality is up to my standards and typically Skype interviews sound like they were recorded with a toaster oven. The audio is delayed and its just a big pet peeve of mine. On the other hand, I could totally do the interview, deliver the content to you guys, and just do my best to clean it up and get over myself. I am looking into some software that is designed specifically for this type of scenario but I am still wary of the quality. Let me know what you guys think. Should I start doing virtual conversations or stick with face to face and not settle for sub par quality?
This week I have Three new episodes for your ear holes.
Episode 18 is with my friend Luke Crawford. Luke is an Entrepreneur, Photographer, Competitive Shooter, Hunter, Fighter, Political Activist, fellow Eagle Scout and much more. I have been friends with Luke for over 15 years or so, and we had a lot to talk about. Luke has always had a way of standing out from the crowd, and not just because he is taller than everyone. Since high school he has been on the news, on the radio, and he has gained a sizable following on Instagram and Facebook. In this episode, Luke shares some amazing stories of how he got into the world of Firearms, the famous story of how he got on the news for his unique business idea, his huge recent win with Students for Concealed Carry, how he outsmarted Donald Trump's campaign and beat them to the punch on a great business idea, and his activism with fighting Human Trafficking and the Sex industry in Atlanta. I have wanted to have Luke on my podcast since I started, and I really enjoyed catching up with him and I'm sure this will be a classic episode. I can't wait to have him on again.
Episode 19 is with Celebrity Stylist and Fashion expert, Cameron Hesseltine. Cameron has styled a bunch of celebrities including: Jon Hamm, Kate Beckinsale, Chrissy Teigen, and Sarah Hyland. In this episode Cameron shares her story of her upbringing and why she dropped out of college, her crazy stories of styling celebrities in LA and why its not as glamorous as it seems, and we talk men's fashion, the taboos surrounding it, and some do's and don'ts for the guys out there.
Episode 20 is with my friend, Lyndsay Carreno. Lyndsay is a world traveler, political activist, historian, and one of my best friends, and she actually lives here in Washington, DC. I have been waiting to release this week's update because I knew we were doing this podcast, and I wanted to at least release three episodes this week. Lyndsay moved here six months ago, and didn't know a soul. Just straight hustled from the ground up. It has been her dream to move out here, and I am super proud of her of conquering her fears and just going for it. On this episode, Lyndsay shares her stories from her childhood and growing up in England, the stories of the impact her dad has made on her life and his tragic death last year, and at the end we delved into some good ol' american politics. I was super excited to come visit her and record this episode and I want to thank Lyndsay for being so vulnerable and sharing her stories with us. You definitely don't want to miss this one.
Those three episodes will be coming very soon, so stay tuned.
That's all I have time for today! I am actually flying back to Atlanta today, so I am going to be recording a lot more episodes when I get back.

In this episode Morgan and I talked about his previous experience as a professional video gamer, how he got into public speaking, his hilarious stories of some of his first speaking gigs, and at the end we got a taste of his paid speeches that he gives. This was a really fun podcast, and I want to thank Morgan for being on the show.

I decided to call this episode "Inside the Mind of a Musical Genius." I feel like CC is such a humble guy that he might just laugh at the title, but he is like a musical encyclopedia. Compared to everyone on earth, he is someone I would consider a musical genius. He could talk about music for hours. His knowledge of music is amazing and just seeing him talk about his passions, his eyes light up and you know that he is just in his zone. From production, to the industry, to the culture; he's deep in it, and he definitely knows his stuff.
During this podcast we really dove deep into a lot of subjects including his upbringing in extremely diverse situations, growing up in a musical family, his musical influences, his opinions on the death of the album, what it means to be a musician and a creator, the culture that is tied to music, and the hot button subject of cultural appropriation and how we can combat it as a society.
During my editing process, I realized that there was a little bit of a scratching noise on CC's track. While we were recording, CC had his hair down, and I'm pretty sure the sound is coming from his hair scratching against the mic. I tried my best to repair the audio, but I am still pretty new to this stuff and the sound still persisted. Just wanted to address the situation rather than ignore it and hope you don't notice. I want to be as transparent as possible with this podcast. Luckily its pretty minimal and I may be making a bigger deal about it than it really is, but I just want to deliver the highest quality that I can. Hopefully you can look past the crackling and focus on the conversation, because it was one of the best so far.
Make sure to follow him on SoundCloud and Bandcamp to check out his music, and on Instagram and Twitter to keep up with everything else.

]]>Austin and I have known each other for a few years now, and from the day I met him I knew he was special. He has always been someone who gets shit done. He's constantly moving and pouring all of his energy into whatever business or project that he's currently working on. He started his first business when he was 12 and ended up selling that company 10 years later. A couple of years ago, he was a finalist in the Choose ATL Ultimate Job Interview Contest. It was kind of like a mini version of shark tank, but he ended up winning 1st place and the grand prize of $10,000 for his pitch about his company Bravado Branding. His current project is called the Entrepreneur Alliance: A global club for entrepreneurs that supplies the trainings, resources and connections to building an amazing business. This was one of the shorter episodes that I have done, but we got into some really awesome stuff in this podcast. Austin told some phenomenal stories like: How his upbringing groomed him into being an entrepreneur, when he got arrested, quitting a team that he swore he would never quit, and some practical advice for people starting their own business.

At the end we also talked about how she has not worn makeup or done her hair on a regular basis for over 2 years. She is all about natural beauty and it's extremely empowering. I had a great time recording this one, and I hope you enjoy it as well.

Also in the episode, we talked about how his family is SUPER active. They are constantly on the go, they do obstacle course races and mud runs together, and they are always getting dirty and sweaty outside. The problem is how do you get clean afterwards? You want to go out to dinner, go shopping, or just be comfortable in some clean clothes. Taking a shower and getting clean is so easy and only takes a few minutes to rinse your body, but its NOT always so easy to find someplace to actually get clean when you're miles away from home and if you're trying to rinse off in public. It's impossible to do it right without totally exposing yourself. I actually did my first Tough Mudder last month, and afterwards it was such a pain in the ass to rinse off, especially when you have mud caked in all the wrong places.
So to scratch their own itch, Conner's mom, Kressa Peterson, created a really cool invention that she called The Shower Toga. Its a loose fitting garment that you slip on over your clothes, it stays in place with a drawstring that goes around your neck for women or around your waist for men, but it allows you to get undressed underneath. Then you can use a water bottle or a hose and rinse your body off completely underneath. Then, put clean clothes back on all while staying covered and never revealing yourself!
It has deep pockets with holes at the ends that allow you to scrub your body and clean those hard to reach spots without flashing anybody by lifting up the bottom. But then you have to deal with all your nasty clothes right? Wrong. The shower toga then converts into a bag that you can throw all your nasty clothes in and be on your way. Its so genius and it has unlimited applications. This is not just a changing towel. Its something you can actually get wet and shower in public. Getting clean while camping, changing after a run and rinsing off, helping the kids change after being at the pool, a surfer that wants to go out with her friends after being in the ocean, a hiker that's all nasty and smelly, literally there are so many uses for it, its crazy. I go to a lot of camping music festivals. Normally its really hard to get a shower. The lines are super long and a lot of times they even cost money. Once I get my shower toga I will have no problem. I can shower at my campsite and change into my clothes outside of my cramped tent. The Shower Toga is being crowd funded on Kickstarter right now and if you back the project for only 19 dollars, you can get your own.
Right now the Kickstarter has recieved $10,000 pledged of their $14,000 goal. As of today, there are only 8 days left in the campaign. It ends Saturday, June 17, 2017. Pledge 19 dollars or more and if the project is fully funded by in the next 8 days you will receive your own Shower Toga, and you'll be getting clean and showering in public in no time. GO DO IT PEOPLE.
I am not getting paid for this whatsoever, and this is a product that I have personally backed, and I can't wait to get my hands on my own. I wouldn't be sharing this with you unless I truly believed that it was a good product that solves a huge issue that many people have. So go get yourself a shower toga and stop smelling like a dirty bum.

By the time this podcast goes live, Ashlyn will actually be driving across the country to live out her dream of moving to LA, so shout out to Chad and Ashlyn roadtrippin' across America. They are going to be stopping in a lot of cool places and probably listening to a lot of podcasts along the way. Tonight was Ashlyn's going away party, and I wanted to release this episode to thank her for all of her support with the podcast, and I can't wait to go out to LA and visit her soon.

On this episode, Graham and I talked about the complexities of organizing a music festival, he shares his stories of why he started podcasting, when he made the mistake of quitting his job before getting a new one, how he started listening to podcasts, and the concept of Hyper Reality, among other things. I want to wish him the best of luck out in Chicago.

This was a really long podcast, and we recorded it pretty late. So by the end of it, we were both kind of delirious, but we made it through. I hope you enjoy my conversation with the beautiful and talented Elizabeth Ward!

Growing up in Mexico and Argentina, Dre has an extremely interesting perspective. As an NCAA athlete in gymnastics she wanted to pursue a career in health and she is now a licensed doctor of chiropractic! She is a total badass and I loved this conversation we had. We covered many topics including: Growing up in Mexico, Coming to America, Why Chiropractics is so Important, Stem Cell Research, and her Fitness and Training Styles.
I have known Dre for about a year and a half now, but this was really the first time we actually sat down and talked about her story and her work as a chiropractor. I learned a lot of exciting new things and I hope you do too. You can follow Dre on instagram: @MusclesAndMargaritas and you can find her professional info here

]]>Back in the day, I was staying with a friend that ended up getting kicked out of his apartment and I had no place to stay for a while. I mentioned it to Parker, and he immediately said I could stay with him until I was able to figure out my living situation. That just really showed me what kind of guy he is. I can't thank him enough for that.
I wanted to have Parker on the podcast because he has an amazing story of how he went from being an unemployed college graduate to now running a business with multiple employees that pays him while he sleeps. This podcast was extremely informative and Parker gives some practical information on how he started his company and what it takes to run a successful business.

We didn't even have time to get into that, because we started off talking about politics, mental illness, gun control, being libertarian, and then we got into his personal story, which you definitely don't want to miss. So we didn't get to discuss his crazy 2 years in Korea that much, but that just means that he will be coming back on the podcast to talk about his travels.
I hope you enjoy the podcast and stay tuned for more episodes coming soon!

On this episode we talk about: growing up skateboarding, being a model, streetwear fashion, sneakers, and as seasoned veterans of sneaking backstage, we tell the story of how we snuck backstage at Shaky Beats and met some of our favorite DJ's and the Do's and Don'ts of getting back there.

]]>Before we started recording, Davis was a little apprehensive about where this podcast would be shared and who would listen to it since he did share a lot of things that most people would not know about him. I explained that, yes, this podcast would be out in the world for anyone to listen to, but what better way for someone to hear your story than through a long form, two hour conversation where you can really explain yourself and share your entire story. Wouldn't that be better than someone hearing it through the grapevine or you sharing with them in a 10 minute conversation? I think it might be the BEST way for someone to hear your story because its coming straight from YOU. He hadn't really thought about it that way yet, so once his perspective changed he was able to really open up and get deep with me and I can't thank him enough for that.

]]>Ashlyn and I have been friends since we were in high school, and on this episode we were able to catch up and have an awesome conversation about a wide variety of topics including: Growing up being homeschooled, traveling the world, meditation, happiness, fitness, her training styles in the gym, and her diet.
Also, in this episode Ashlyn mentions that she has always wanted to move to LA, and after this recording she announced that she will be leaving Atlanta and moving to LA in a few weeks. I am extremely happy and proud of her, and all of us here in Atlanta will miss her dearly. I will definitely visit soon so that we can record a west coast podcast. One of my dreams is to be able to use this podcast to travel and have extended conversations with fascinating humans all over the world.
This was Ashlyn's first podcast and we went for over two hours, but it flew by pretty quickly. I hope you enjoy the show and get some value from it, because I know I did.

]]>In this episode Adam and I had a great time talking about his upbringing in Michigan, being the child of Tanzanian immigrants, his training styles in the gym, his mental shift into the world of entrepreneurship, our mutual love of Electronic Dance Music, Music Festivals, his personal philosophies, and how traveling the world has changed his life.
Adam and I became friends while working at a local gym together and we instantly clicked. I hope you enjoy our conversation and find some value in it.

It seems like everyone is creating bite sized media these days. No doubt social media has played the biggest role in this shift. Content is getting shorter and shorter. When is the last time you were able to sit down with a friend and have a meaningful conversation? My philosophy is that the best conversations always happen distraction-free and face to face. My podcast is about having uninterrupted conversations with fascinating human beings. I wanted to kick things off by telling you about myself, my mission and vision for the podcast, and a little more about the guests that I have had so far.
