One harrier – referred to as the hare – lays a trail of flour over a course (s)he chooses. The other harriers (the hounds) try to follow that trail to the end where they enjoy munchies and a beverage. The typical hash is 3-5 miles through the city.  Anyone over 21 is welcome to join, and the run or walk easily accommodates all abilities. The hash isn’t a race – there are no prizes. The challenge is following the trail and camaraderie and beverages are the rewards.

Charm City Hashes are generally held in Baltimore city on Friday nights at 7 PM.
