L'articolo A Sudden Goodbye: Modere’s Collapse Stuns Customers and Distributors proviene da Blogger-Net.
]]>After more than two decades in the wellness industry, Modere—a prominent multi-level marketing (MLM) company known for its clean-label products—abruptly ceased operations in April 2025. The shutdown, announced on April 11 via the company’s website and email, offered no clear explanation, leaving customers and distributors stunned and sparking widespread speculation across the industry.
Founded in 2002, Modere branded itself as an “omnichannel consumer products company” committed to wellness, sustainability, and ingredient transparency. Its product lines spanned beauty, personal care, household, and nutrition, all marketed as free from harmful chemicals.
Among its most popular offerings was Liquid BioCell Collagen, a multi-patented supplement that garnered industry accolades for its innovative formulation. More recently, the company launched Curb in September 2024—a dietary supplement designed to suppress appetite—which quickly generated buzz due to promising weight-loss results reported during beta testing.
Modere also invested in its leadership team in recent years. In late 2023, Nate Frazier was appointed President and Executive Chairman, and throughout 2024 the company expanded its executive roster, signaling ambition and growth.
The closure notice, while expressing gratitude to Modere’s community, failed to provide any reasoning behind the company’s decision. This absence of transparency triggered an outpouring of frustration online. Social media platforms were flooded with reactions ranging from shock and sadness to confusion and demands for answers—or at least discounts on remaining inventory.
The abrupt nature of the shutdown has fueled speculation about potential financial issues, leadership shifts, or unforeseen external challenges. However, without official clarification, the real cause remains unknown.
Modere’s closure signifies the end of a notable chapter in the clean wellness MLM sector. Its sudden exit leaves a gap in the market and raises important questions about the sustainability and volatility of even well-established wellness brands.
While the company’s future remains uncertain, its impact—particularly in promoting cleaner product formulations and innovative nutritional supplements—will be remembered by loyal customers and industry observers alike. The rise and fall of Modere stands as a sobering reminder of the unpredictable nature of business, regardless of apparent success or longevity.

]]>Three people aboard a small aircraft died Friday morning when the plane crashed near Boca Raton Airport in Florida.
One individual on the ground sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to Boca Raton Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Michael LaSalle, who spoke at a news conference.
The aircraft’s pilot had reported issues with the rudder shortly before the crash, a source familiar with the situation told NBC News.
The Cessna 310 had departed from Boca Raton Airport and was en route to Tallahassee International Airport when it went down around 10:20 a.m. ET.
Jared Scarpato, a freshman flight school student, said he and his instructor observed the aircraft flying “too fast and too low.”
“I said out loud, you know, he’s too low. And what’s going through my mind is… once he goes out of sight, you know, that’s just really… devastating,” Scarpato said.
According to NBC South Florida, the plane appeared to circle in the air before attempting to return to Boca Raton Airport. Witnesses working nearby reported seeing the aircraft flying low and later feeling the ground shake.
The plane reportedly burst into flames upon impact. The injured person is believed to have driven through a fireball before crashing into a tree, LaSalle said.
Footage from the scene showed debris scattered across a roadway and railway tracks. NBC South Florida reported that what appeared to be two bodies were visible in the wreckage, along with a damaged vehicle.
Police announced via X (formerly Twitter) just before 11 a.m. that the area near Military Trail and Glades Road was closed due to the crash.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating the incident.
“On behalf of the city, we express our heartbreak at this tragic loss of life,” said Mayor Scott Singer at the news conference.
Boca Raton Airport was briefly closed following the crash.

]]>The investigation focuses on Nvidia’s operations for potential anti-competitive infractions, and will also examine its 2020 acquisition of Mellanox, which was authorized by China’s State Administration for Market Regulation with stipulations to prevent bias against Chinese firms.
A report from Chinese media indicates that the government suspects Nvidia’s $7 billion acquisition of the Israeli networking equipment firm might contravene China’s antitrust legislation.
This development arrives just a week after the Biden administration unveiled another set of export restrictions on semiconductors designed to limit China’s access to advanced technology.
The recent US actions include restrictions on high bandwidth memory chips sent to China, critical components for AI development.
“As China continues to lag behind in accessing cutting-edge AI chips, they may seek to hinder US companies, where possible,” said Daniel Newman, CEO of The Futurum Group, in a statement to Yahoo Finance on Monday morning.
Nvidia has not yet responded to requests for comments regarding the investigation.
This scrutiny of the leading US chipmaker also precedes Donald Trump’s expected return to the presidency next month, during which he has cautioned about potential tariff increases as part of his strategy.
“This is more than just a regulatory matter; it’s a strategic geopolitical tactic,” stated Nigel Green, CEO of the financial advisory firm deVere Group, on Monday. “China is signaling its readiness to push back, and this targeting of Nvidia could indicate a shift towards more assertive actions.”
Nvidia shares have lagged behind the general Trump post-election surge in the past month, rising just over 1% since his electoral victory.
So far this year, Nvidia stock is up nearly 190%.

]]>After over 50 years of Assad’s family rule, he was compelled to flee to Russia, where he received asylum, as radical Islamist factions led a sweeping offensive that seized the capital city.
On Sunday, CENTCOM announced that they had carried out targeted strikes against ISIS leaders, operatives, and installations as part of their ongoing initiative to “disrupt, degrade, and defeat ISIS.”
Specifically, CENTCOM’s efforts are geared towards preventing the terrorist organization from conducting operations, ensuring they do not take advantage of the current power vacuum in central Syria.
Throughout the operation, CENTCOM forces targeted more than 75 locations using U.S. Air Force platforms including B-52s, F-15s, and A-10s.
Damage assessments are in progress, according to CENTCOM, and there are no reports of civilian casualties resulting from these strikes.
CENTCOM emphasized, alongside regional partners, their commitment to undermining ISIS’s capabilities during this “dynamic phase in Syria.”
“Let there be no doubt – we will not permit ISIS to regain strength or exploit the ongoing situation in Syria,” stated General Michael Erik Kurilla. “All factions in Syria should understand that we will hold them responsible if they engage with or support ISIS in any form.”
Secretary of State Antony Blinken remarked on Sunday that the Syrian populace “finally has a chance for hope,” asserting that the U.S. “strongly advocates for a peaceful shift of power to a responsible Syrian government” via an inclusive, Syrian-led process.
Blinken noted that the Assad regime’s unwillingness to engage in a genuine political process since 2011, along with its reliance on brutal backing from Russia and Iran, led to its inevitable downfall. “During this transitional phase, the Syrian people have every right to seek the protection of state institutions, restoration of vital services, and safeguarding of vulnerable communities,” he added.
The Secretary also indicated that the U.S. would be vigilantly monitoring developments in the region and support international measures to hold the Assad regime and its allies accountable for “atrocities and abuses” against the Syrian people, including the use of chemical weapons.
“We have taken note of remarks from rebel leaders recently; however, as they assume greater responsibility, we will evaluate not only their statements but their actions,” Blinken emphasized. “We again urge all parties to honor human rights, take all necessary precautions to protect civilians, and adhere to international humanitarian

]]>The woman, referred to as “Jane Doe,” alleged that the incident occurred after she was taken to an after-party following the MTV Video Music Awards.
The federal lawsuit was initially lodged in October in the Southern District of New York, with Combs as the sole defendant. It was refiled Sunday to add Carter as a defendant.
Attorney Tony Buzbee, who initiated the lawsuit, did not provide any comments.
Carter responded to the allegations on Sunday evening, labeling them “idiotic” and accusing Buzbee of behaving unprofessionally.
“These claims are so appalling that I urge you to file a criminal complaint instead of a civil one. Anyone committing such a crime against a minor deserves incarceration, don’t you agree?” Carter stated to NBC News. “True justice would be served if these alleged victims had their cases pursued criminally.”
A representative from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York did not comment on whether they are investigating the case after being shown NBC News’ report regarding the lawsuit.
Buzbee has previously lodged several lawsuits against Combs, all featuring anonymous complainants alleging assault and rape. This is the first instance where he has included another well-known defendant.
Legal representatives for Combs described the lawsuits as “shameless publicity stunts aimed at extracting money from celebrities afraid of falsehoods being circulated about them, just as lies have been disseminated about Mr. Combs.”
“Mr. Combs maintains complete confidence in the facts and in the judicial system. The truth will emerge in court: Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone—regardless of age or gender,” the statement read.
In September, federal prosecutors in New York charged Combs with racketeering, sex trafficking, and other crimes. He currently remains incarcerated at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center after being denied bail for the third time last month. His trial is set for May 5.
Prosecutors indicated during a recent court session that they might pursue additional charges against Combs through a superseding indictment.
Prior to the refiled lawsuit on Sunday, “Carter received a letter from Plaintiff’s counsel seeking mediation to resolve this issue,” Buzbee noted in the lawsuit. In response to that letter, which NBC News reviewed, Carter filed a lawsuit against the accuser’s attorneys, Buzbee stated.
“You have seriously misjudged thinking all ‘celebrities’ are alike,” Carter remarked in his Sunday statement. “I have a different background. I’m a young man who escaped from the projects in Brooklyn. Such games aren’t played among us. We have strong codes and honor. We safeguard children.”
The lawsuit claims that in 2000, when Doe was 13, both Combs and Carter sexually assaulted her during a house party in New York after the MTV Video Music

]]>Cops have released photos of the alleged killer inside a Big Apple taxi cab and recovered what investigators believe was the his backpack in the park, which contained a jacket and fake Monopoly money.
New surveillance images reviewed by The Post on Sunday suggest that the gunman got out of the cab in front of 2372 Amsterdam Avenue between West 177th and West 178th streets, next to an MTA bus stop known as the “East Village M101” bus line, before disappearing again. The location is near the George Washington Bridge bus terminal.
“The detectives search through all of our video on Friday,” the manager of an apartment building at the Amsterdam Avenue site said Sunday. “They didn’t have any luck. They never saw him.”
The footage does not show the suspect leaving the area on foot, she added.

Brian Thompson, 50, was fatally shot Wednesday outside the New York Hilton Midtown while heading to a business meeting. The weapon used was reportedly a veterinary gun. Investigators revealed that bullet casings found at the scene had cryptic phrases such as “depose,” “delay,” and “deny,” referencing themes from the 2010 book *Delay, Deny, Defend*, a critique of the health insurance industry.

]]>Look, I mean, like, the only way that we’re going to do this really is if we get, you know, the original cast.’ I’m not going to say how it works or anything, but like, it’s got to be 100% the real follow up not just like some fan service movie, not just some like ca-ching thing, this has to feel like the ultimate follow up to the original film.
Daniel Richtman has reported that Nicolas Cage and John Travolta will return for *Face/Off 2*, possibly in supporting roles. The sequel is said to focus on the children of their original characters, Castor Troy and Sean Archer, as they inevitably clash. Despite the dramatic ending of the 1997 film, writer Simon Barrett suggests that Castor Troy didn’t actually die. With Cage’s schedule reportedly light next year and Travolta’s recent projects being smaller in scale, production might begin soon, though no official start date has been announced.
The funny thing is, I never personally thought Castor Troy died at the end of Face/Off. When you watch it now, it’s kind of clear that what they were actually probably doing was trying to have it both ways where he looks pretty damn dead when he gets shot with the fishing spear. But, they don’t cover him up and the back of it is him getting loaded on an ambulance. To me, don’t load a person on an ambulance next to a living person without putting a sheet over them in a movie unless they’re alive.
While some fans hoped for John Woo’s return for the *Face/Off* sequel, the project is in the hands of Adam Wingard and Simon Barrett. Wingard, known for his work on the *Godzilla x Kong* films, is currently directing A24’s *Onslaught*, written by Barrett. The film marks a return to their indie roots, reminiscent of their earlier collaborations like *You’re Next* and *The Guest*.
