Giving Daddies A Bad Name?      Comment   Translate Page
Hide Image:
Show Image

In our never-ending quest to understand how other people define the term Daddy, we bring you this interesting article "The fastest-growing 'sugar baby' UK universities revealed... but at what cost" https://sports.yahoo.com/half-million-uk-students-turning-sugar-daddy-we..., which takes a look at the "sugar baby" culture on UK campuses. All signs point to the economy and the ridiculous amount of debt college kids go off into the real world with as to why there's been an uptick in young people, in this case women, looking for generous older men, Sugar Daddies, willing to pay them for their time.

Sugar Daddies have been around for as long as anyone can remember, gay or straight, but since the advent of the internet, facilitating these arrangements has become easier than ever. We are sometimes asked if the Daddyhunt community is about connecting guys with Sugar Daddies. The answer is NO, and we make a point of proactively removing users seeking financial arrangements from the Daddyhunt community.

But what we are wondering is, given the placement of this article in the mainstream media, do you think it further perpetuates the most common association with the word Daddy, that it has to be a sugary arrangement? As a community that celebrates Daddies and their admirers, whether they be a pauper or a prince, we’re of the mindset that the stigma surrounding Daddies and intergenerational relationships stems from this belief. It’s a misguided notion that the only reason why a younger man would want to be with an older man is because it’s transactional. As many of us on Daddyhunt can attest to, nothing could be further from the truth. #ExperienceMatters

Taxed Rockies, Giants face quick turnaround after 18-inning affair      Comment   Translate Page
The Colorado Rockies and San Francisco Giants have exhausted their bullpens in a two-day pitchers' duel that's lasted 27 innings Thursday, Friday and even spilling over into Saturday morning. Colorado left-hander Kyle Freeland and San Francisco lefty Madison Bumgarner are scheduled to get the ball Saturday afternoon when the National League West rivals make a quick turnaround from Friday's 3-2, 18-inning marathon win for the Giants. In Major League Baseball's longest game of the season, Brandon Belt doubled and scored the winning run when Rockies catcher Chris Iannetta was deemed to have pulled his foot off home plate on a potential force play that resulted from Erik Kratz's one-out grounder in the last of the 18th.

Marat Kogut, 'MVP' of Warriors' loss, left off NBA playoff referee roster      Comment   Translate Page
Marat Kogut, 'MVP' of Warriors' loss, left off NBA playoff referee roster originally appeared on nbcsportsbayarea.com The list of 36 referees chosen to officiate the 2019 NBA playoffs was announced Saturday, and the man Steph Curry referred to as an "MVP" wasn't one of them. The fact that Curry felt compelled to refer to Marat Kogut as the most valuable player in a controversial Warriors loss to the Timberwolves back on March 29 likely is a big reason why. After a swipe at Curry's legs went uncalled and Kevin Durant's would-be four-point play was waved off, the Warriors lost the game when Minnesota's Karl-Anthony Towns converted a free throw at the end of regulation, after a questionable-at-...

Though UFC 236 was chock-full of good fights, none could hold a candle to the main and co-main event championship bouts. It looked like Adesanya might make it a quick night as he peppered Gastelum with his pinpoint accuracy early in the fight.

Would Seahawks pass on paying Russell Wilson again?      Comment   Translate Page
The deadline arrives in three days. If, as of April 15, the Seahawks and quarterback Russell Wilson haven't worked out a new contract, what happens next? One possibility, as casually tossed into the fray by Jack Del Rio on Monday, is that the Seahawks will decide against doing the year-to-year franchise-tag and trade Wilson, before the start of the 2019 regular season. Whether it would happen this year or next year (when holding his rights would entail a $30.34 million franchise tag), the philosophical question becomes whether the Seahawks would choose to give up a franchise quarterback in order to avoid devoting so much cap and cash space to a franchise quarterback.

Perhaps the only thing more difficult than trying to win a major championship is trying to fill the hours before you get the chance. At the Masters, this is usually a golfer's reward for playing well. If you lead the tournament, you draw a late afternoon tee time the next day, and you then attempt some sort of mental gymnastics in which you strain to avoid the thought of the sizable opportunity ahead.
