Daardoor reed ik verkeerd èn gevaarlijk door onder het rijden dat proberen uit te zetten, wat pas lukte toen ik op een P kon stilstaan. Dit is min. 2 X gebeurd. Later ben ik dingen gaan wegvinken waardoor het minder werd. Ik vrees dat ik Maps (in de toekomst) niet zal blijven gebruiken. Ik heb kort geleden ook een ander Gmailadres in gebruik genomen.

Ein sonniger Tag im vergangenen Mai. Russlands Präsident Wladimir Putin fährt mit einem Truck in einem Konvoi von Baufahrzeugen. Es geht zur Eröffnung der Bücke von Kertsch, die Russland mit der Halbinsel Krim verbindet. Mit 19 Kilometern ist sie nun die längste Brücke in ganz Europa und Russland.

Doch als Putin über die Bücke fährt, passiert etwas Seltsames. Die Satellitennavigationssysteme von 24 Schiffen in der Nähe zeigen auf einmal falsche Schiffspositionen an. Die Ortungssysteme vermelden den Kapitänen, sie befänden sich 65 Kilometer entfernt und an Land – auf dem Flughafen der südrussischen Stadt Anapa.  

Laut der amerikanischen Nichtregierungsorganisation Centre for Advanced Defense (C4AD) war das keine Fehlfunktion. Vielmehr handelte es sich um eine gezielte Attacke, die es jedem Schiff in der Nähe erschweren sollte, die Präsenz von Putin zu orten.

Russische Manipulation scheint größeres Ausmaß zu haben als angenommen

GNSS bezeichnet ein System internationaler Satelliten, das die Erde umkreist. Dazu gehören das Global Positioning System (GPS) der USA, Chinas Beidou, Russlands GLONASS und Europas Galileo.

Das Stören, Blockieren oder Manipulieren von GNSS-Signalen durch Russland scheint „willkürlicher, hartnäckiger, größer im Ausmaß und geographisch weiter verbreitet, als vorangegangene Berichte dies nahelegen“, heißt es in einem Rapport des amerikanischen IT-Sicherheitsunternehmens Digital Shadows.

1.311 Schiffe von russischen Hackerangriffen betroffen

Laut der C4AD-Studie waren bislang 1.311 zivile Schiffe von den russischen Hackerangriffen betroffen, insgesamt wurden 9.883 Fälle von GNSS-Manipulation gemeldet oder entdeckt. Die meisten der Vorfälle ereigneten sich auf der Krim, im Schwarzen Meer, in Syrien und in Russland.     

Bis vor kurzem vertrat C4AD die Meinung, Russland würde das GNSS vorrangig manipulieren, um die Ortung von Präsident Putin zu erschweren. Darauf weist etwa ein großes Gebiet nördlich des Kap Idokopas in der Nähe der südrussischen Kleinstadt Gelendzhik hin.

Das GNSS scheint dort dauerhaft gestört zu sein. Es wird angenommen, dass Putin in dem Gebiet seine Sommerresidenz hat. Laut C4AD findet sich dort „ein großer Palast im Italianate-Stil, mehrere Helikopterlandeplätze, ein Amphitheater und ein kleiner Hafen. Es ist der einzige bekannte Ort in Russland, der die gleiche Luftraum- und GNSS-Überwachung aufweist, wie der Kreml.

„Die Punkte, an denen das GNSS manipuliert wurde, korrelieren eng mit Orten, an denen Wladimir Putin Besuche im In- und Ausland getätigt hat. Dies legt nahe, dass russische Streitkräfte mobile Einheiten zur Störung des GNSS-Signals entwickelt haben“, schreibt Digital Shadows. Die Vorkommnisse korrelierten außerdem mit den Aufenthaltsorten von russischen Streitkräften und Behörden. In einigen Gebieten scheinen die Störungen dazu gedient zu haben, ausländische Militärs zu isolieren, oder zu behindern, heißt es in dem Bericht.

Die Gefahr durch Hackerangriffe auf das GNSS-System ist beträchtlich. Telefone, Schiffe, Flugzeuge und Kraftwerke sind alle auf Zeit- und Ortsangaben von GPS angewiesen und können somit auch gehackt werden.

„Alle kritischen Infrastrukturen funktionieren zu einem gewissen Maße über GPS. Besonders wichtig ist das System für Notfalldienste, in der Telekommunikation, sowie im Transport- und Finanzwesen“, heißt es in einem Bericht der britischen Raumfahrtbehörde. Eine Attacke etwa, die das britische GNSS-System zusammenbrechen ließe, würde rund 1,15 Milliarden Euro (Eine Milliarde britischer Pfund) pro Tag kosten, solange das System inaktiv wäre.

8. «Кракен», Антарктика

В 2016 году бесстрашные исследователи Google Maps обнаружили пятно, похожее на мифическое морское чудовище — кракена. Однажды авторы комедийного портала Daily Portal Z узнали, что ребята из Google собираются снимать улицы Токио для Street Wiew, и решили увековечить себя. Вообще-то Google замазывает лица людей, поэтому шутники надели маски голубей. Получилось очень по-японски — смешно и странно.
