'Accountability and transparency' in central banking? Not until news organizations attempt journalism      Comment   Translate Page

2:50p ET Saturday, April 13, 2019

Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:

Central banks get away with the flaming hypocrisy illustrated below because mainstream news organizations don't dare to put a critical question to them.

Here, if David Lawder and Leika Kihara of Reuters were serious journalists, and their editor, Paul Simao, had the wit for his job, someone from Reuters would have asked the managing director of the International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde -- in the name of the "accountability, transparency, and effective communication" she purported to be advocating -- to identify the markets in which her member central banks are surreptitiously trading and when they are surreptitiously trading, and to explain the objectives of their surreptitious trading.

When It Bursts, Bullion Owned in the Safest Way Will Protect Wealth

With GoldCore you can own allocated -- and most importantly -- segregated coins and bars in Switzerland, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

Switzerland, Singapore, and Hong Kong remain extremely safe jurisdictions for storing bullion. Avoid exchange-traded funds and digital gold providers where you are a price taker. Ensure that you are outright legal owner of your bullion. If you do not own segregated bullion that you can visit, inspect, and take delivery of, you are exposed.

Crucial guides to storage in Singapore and Switzerland can be read here:

Instead Reuters makes itself a mere press-release service, like PR Newswire.

How easy it would be for any news organization to show central bankers up and shut them up. A single critical question would do it, but there isn't one in all of Earthly journalism.

IMF Chief Calls for Central Bank Accountability, Communication

WASHINGTON -- International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde said today accountability, transparency, and effective communication were key components for central banks to be credible in delivering their mandates.

"Independence has served them well in the course of time and will continue to do so," Lagarde said at a news conference when asked whether some central banks were facing threats to their independence in setting monetary policy.

Regional qualifiers

Athletes from Inland Northwest colleges and area athletes from other schools who have met the qualifying standards and declared to compete in the NCAA regional competition May 30-31. Conference champions (CC) earn entry without meeting the standards. The 10,000 meters, decathlon and heptathlon are not contested at the regional level, but are filled with athletes who meet either the automatic or provisional qualifying standards. Top-five finishers in individual events and top three relay teams from regionals advance to the NCAA championships. A select number of at-large athletes who didn’t achieve those finishes will fill the national fields, based on the national descending order of performance lists.

Sixth Generation Fighters:

The USAF NGAD/PCA has a proposed FY20 budget of $1B.  It had been predicted to be $1.2B.  The AETP engine often associated with the NGAD also received a budget of $870M.  The F-22 and F-35 both funded their engines internally, unlike the NGAD/PCA.  However, Jane's takes the stance the NGAD is being rethought.

The US Navy's Next Generation Fighter program is shifting from $5M in FY19 to a proposed $20M in FY20.

The US Navy will finish its AOA this summer for its 6th gen fighter.

Leonardo wants a role in Britain Tempest.

International interest in the British Tempest is growing.

The Franco-German FCAS may be a bad idea, or so goes one opinion.

FGFA (Pakistan):

Pakistan is outlining its plans for developing a 5th gen fighter.

Su-57:

Putin - goodness me - considers the Su-57 the best plane in the world.

The Russians have already created an export version of the Su-57.  They may be trying to export it to Turkey and China.

?!?!  The Russians are stating the first batch of Su-57s will be delivered to a frontline unit in 2019.

The Russians are refuting the Su-57 has been redeployed to Syria.

YF-23:

Why did the YF-23 lose to the YF-22 in the Advanced Tactical Fighter competition?  The only man to have flown both the F-22 and the YF-23 talks explains.

Model 401:

Scaled Composites' Model 401 is on the east coast at a Navy flight test facility.  Why?

F-117:

The F-117 has been out flying about (with a plexiglass canopy, btw).

The Drive noted the interesting bit of the choice of emblem on the F-117.

B-2:

Listen to a B-2 test drop nuclear weapons.

B-21:

The USAF has selected which airbases will be hosting the B-21.

F-22:

Rapid Raptor: the program to allow the F-22 to deploy anywhere, well, rapidly.

24 Raptors conducted an elephant walk in Alaska.

Will Langley AFB be the center of F-22 training?

F-35:

General Fick is the new head of the F-35 program.

The Pentagon is considering selling the F-35 to Poland, Greece and Romania.

A continuous software upgrade program would speed capabilities to the F-35, but delay the purchase of aircraft.

The F-35 is expected to hit an 80% availability rate in Sept 2019.

The F-35 has the capability to deploy towed decoys from under its stealthy skin.

Some are strongly arguing to buy the F-35 instead of the F-15X.

48 F-35As, 10 F-35Bs and 20 F-35Cs are in the FY20 proposal.

The USAF wants 12 more F-35As than the budget provided for.

The USAF has conducted the first fast/hot crew swap exercise for the F-35A.

The IG is slamming the F-35 program office for allowing contractors to manage government assets.

The F-35 will take a starring role in an exercise in Greece.

China claims it is not the reason countries are buying the F-35.  Actually, about that...

The USS Wasp carried at least 10 F-35Bs into the South China Sea.  The USS Wasp has been operating near the disputed Scarborough Shoal.

The USMC may deploy F-35Bs off the deck of the Korean amphibious ships.

The US Navy F-35Cs that achieved IOC are only ready 5% of the time...

The readiness of the F-35C is improving, supposedly.

The British are monitoring the situation about the Japanese F-35 crash.

Italy's Deputy PM  defended the F-35 purchases.

The Italian F-35As in Sardinia get close ups.

Italian F-35As participated in the 'Lightning Thunder over Europe' exercise.

How did Italian F-35 pilots feel about their participation in Red Flag exercise?

Japan just purchased the JSM antiship missile for its F-35s.

Japan declared IOC for its first F-35A unit.

Japan had its first F-35 crash.  The wreckage has been located, but salvage and investigation will be dauntingEfforts are still underway to try to find the pilot.  Japan has grounded its F-35As. The aircraft that crashed was the first F-35A assembled by Japan.  Here's an update.

Poland is considering the F-35 for its Harpia program.  In fact, they want to outright buy 32 of them.

The first two F-35As for South Korea have arrived in country.

Switzerland will evaluate the F-35 for its new fighter requirement this summer.

Turkey's F-35 deliveries may get pausedStrike that: the deliveries have stopped of parts.  The US has stated buying the F-35 and the S-400 missile system are not compatible.  In the mean time, the US military continues to train Turkish F-35 pilots. Congress again has warned Turkey they cannot have the F-35 and the S-400 missile.

If Turkey gets cut, the F-35 program can progress just fine. Or will it?  How problematic is it for Lockheed?  What next?

BAE has begun Meteor and Spear integration on the F-35.

Lockheed received a $264M contract to support South Korea's F-35s.

META:

What aircraft does the USAF need to defeat Russia and China?

The WHO uses common sense and withdraws its support for plant based planetary health diet      Comment   Translate Page
The World Health Organization has backed out of sponsoring an event promoting a radical diet that drastically cuts back on meat. The UN body planned to support the launch event of the scientific group behind the controversial 'planetary health diet', dismissed as 'nanny-state' madness. Scientists say its adoption is vital to feed the world's booming population without destroying the environment and would improve the health of millions. But the WHO stopped sponsoring the event following criticism there is 'no scientific justification' for everyone in the world to adopt a standard diet. The British Medical Journal first reported the WHO had dropped out of the EAT-Lancet Commission on Food, Planet, Health event in Switzerland.

Comment on Refugee advocates express shock over changes in asylum law by L Y Luciuk      Comment   Translate Page
from the Vancouver Sun, 8 April 2019, by L Y Luciuk This is a tale of two tales, siphoned from the Immigration and Refugee Board’s vaults. The claimants’ names are changed to protect the innocent (meaning me). And, despite what you may think, these are not particularly unique cases – if Board Members could speak freely they’d admit it. Ladies first, so let’s lead with Lori. She sobbed how Roma are so persecuted in eastern Europe that she was forced to bundle up her offspring and escape. Who wouldn’t be moved by a weeping mother protecting her brood? Thankfully, some Members are chosen for vigilance. Lori’s English was so perfect she declined an interpreter fluent in the language of her putative patria. She had kept airline boarding passes but not one document from the ‘old country.’ No geographer could locate the town Lori said she grew up in. Inquiring minds finally uncovered she had actually been living for years in western Europe, where all her little ones were born, far from the Hungarian Plains or Wallachia or wherever she claimed she decamped from. Obligingly, the constabulary of her country submitted a helpful document – Lori’s lengthy list of criminal convictions. Bon voyage Lori! And there was Raoul. Born in Damascus but outside Syria when civil war erupted in 2011, Raoul renewed his passport in 2017 at a Syrian consulate. Valid travel document in hand, he visited Brazil, Switzerland, and Japan, signatories to the UN Convention on Refugees. Yet he never made any (known) claim about being a refugee in those countries. Because a family member holidayed in the Middle East in 2017 Raoul even delayed his departure for the USA until February 2018. Deplaning in Florida, he moved north leisurely, sightseeing in Orlando and New York. Eventually presenting himself at our border, Raoul claimed a “well founded fear of persecution” should he return to Syria. Asked why he hadn’t declared that upon arriving in a safe third country like America Raoul said the refugee determination process there is “too tedious.” I recommended a hearing to allow for questions about Raoul’s perambulations, failure to claim refugee status until early 2018, and why he feared a government that helpfully renewed his passport. Perhaps he had reasonable explanations. Regardless, he would be given the benefit of the doubt. We never return anyone where they might be in harm’s way. Fair enough. I never got the chance. The Board booted me before I could. But don’t fret. Members are ‘encouraged’ to expedite Syrian claims, often after only the most cursory review. So Raoul is surely amongst us. Naturally, this prejudice cheers refugee lobbyists and brings tears of joy to claimants’ eyes. As for the IRB line about how every claim must be considered carefully and decided on its own merits – that’s a fib. A backlog of some 73,000 claims exists, with wait times hovering around two years. All claimants receive mandated social benefits, costing Canadians aplenty. Meanwhile, the Trudeau government just dropped another $208 million into the Board’s begging bowl, on top of millions doled out last year. Those funds provide the board chairman Richard Wex with a private chauffeur and rented SUV, costing $78,562 a year on top of his $265,300 salary. How this perk helps clear the Board’s backlog I’ll let them explain. The strangers wanting to get inside our gates often say the lands they left were “shitholes.” Canada isn’t. So this raconteur won’t mean-mouth anyone who tries. But no reasonable person would conclude Lori or Raoul were really refugees. If I had just kept my mouth shut about that I’d still be working for the Board. Silly me.

HyD wins two awards at 47th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva (with photo)      Comment   Translate Page
Following the winning of the Gold Award of the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2019 – Smart Mobility Award (Smart Transportation Stream) last week, the intelligent robotic system, the development of which was initiated by the Highways Department (HyD) and which was co-invented and successfully built by the HyD and the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), was awarded the Honorable Mention Prize of the Chinese Delegation for Invention and Innovation and a Gold Medal with Congratulations of the Jury at the 47th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva in Switzerland yesterday (April 12, Geneva time).

Held annually, the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva has been recognised as the most important innovation and technology exhibition of its kind in the world. It attracts exhibitors from around the globe including business enterprises, research institutions and universities to put their inventions and innovations on display. Held between April 10 and 14, this year's exhibition has attracted over 800 exhibitors from over 40 countries and regions presenting more than 1 000 inventions. The HyD and the HKPC jointly presented at the exhibition the co-invented intelligent robotic system, which is the first of its kind in the world fitted with cameras, sensors and robotic arms to understand its surroundings with full cognitive abilities for placing and collecting traffic cones and lanterns on public roads.

The HyD always attaches great importance to safety in road works, accords first priority to the safety of engineering site staff and has been striving to enhance safety protection for carrying out road works on public roads. Given that the engineering site staff may face higher risk when setting up and collecting traffic cones and lanterns on public roads late at night, the HyD has therefore been studying the use of advanced technology to adopt an automated approach to replace the engineering site staff in carrying out relevant works under more dangerous situations in order to protect their safety. To this end, the HyD and the HKPC have co-invented the automated intelligent robotic system suitable for use under the road conditions in Hong Kong, and are currently carrying out detailed design for the formal application of the intelligent robotic system in road works. Upon completion of design and assembly, site trials will be carried out with a view to commencing its use on public roads in the near future.

From Mount Sinai to the Red Sea Crossing, This Man Searches for the Bible's 'Lost' Sites      Comment   Translate Page

When Bob Cornuke first got involved in searching for lost locations in the Bible, he met a man named Jim Erwin who was the eighth man to walk on the moon.

"He was the first one to drive a car on the Moon," Cornuke told Peter Wooding, European Bureau Chief for ASSIST News at the recent NRB Convention in Anaheim, CA.

"He said, 'Bob, how'd you like to do something really fun? Let's look for Noah's Ark! It'd be the greatest discovery of all time!'"

Cornuke thought, "OK, how can you pass up on that?"

Cornuke had been involved with a career in law enforcement, got involved in a very bad shooting, moved to Colorado—and that's when he met Jim Erwin.

"So that started this cascading life of adventure and fun and risk and peril and books and video, TV and all that kind of fun things—and it was all because of meeting a man who walked on the moon that started it for me."

What have been some of the standout moments?

"It's hard to say that we've 'discovered' anything because God will reveal things in His time, for His purpose and His glory. But the standout things that we think we have been allowed to be a part of that God's revealed to us is the Mount Sinai story.

"Where is the real Mount Sinai? Tradition puts it, of course, and everybody believes that it's in the Sinai Peninsula. But the Bible says in Galatians 4:25 that Mount Sinai is in Arabia. That's a red flag for me, and as a former FBI trained homicide investigator, I had to check that out, because the Bible is shooting a flaming arrow right into Arabia as to where the real Mount Sinai is.

"So I went there, I met with a man named Larry Williams—we found this peak that's black on top and all these things around it. There [were] pillars and altars and writings and a lot of people were saying, 'Yes, that is the real Mount Sinai' now as late as Josephus Demetrius and Philo, historians from as far back as 250 B.C. have said that's the place, in the ancient land of Midian. So we think the real Mount Sinai has been discovered in the ancient land of Midian. And believe it or not, they're doing a Hollywood movie on it now, and of course, I'm not going to be in the movie, but it's a big Hollywood production that we're actually in the process of production as we speak."

Cornuke said the movie will be called The Mountain of Fire.

"It's really fun because we're talking big Hollywood types—I can't reveal a lot of the names that we're involved with now because they're contract negotiations—but Dean River is going to be producing it. One of the co-producers is Charles Seeger, who did National Treasure 1 and National Treasure 2. And I'm going over in a few weeks, doing some site locations in Jordan, where they filmed Lawrence of Arabia, and I'll be with the film commission over there, doing site locations for the movie. I've never had a movie done about me, so it's all new, but it's very fun and exciting."

Cornuke has 11 books and the most recent just came out, called Explorer—My Life Searching for Lost Locations in the Bible, that chronicles all his searches.

"I've been involved with 72 expeditions, been arrested five times in the Middle East for carrying a Bible, believed to be a spy—so they arrest you because you've a Bible in the Middle East. I don't want to ruin the book, but I do live. I survive!

The book is about Cornuke's nine searches and expeditions looking for Noah's Ark.

"I've looked for the real Mount Sinai that we just talked about. I've looked for the crossing site of the Red Sea where the fleeing Hebrews went being chased by Pharaoh went through the Red Sea. I've searched for the Ark of the Covenant in Ethiopia on 22 trips looking for it. I've actually been on the search looking for Paul's shipwreck—we think we've found the four anchors or God's revealed the four anchors of where Paul's shipwreck would be, and that's off the coast of Malta. We have four lead first-century Alexandrian freighter anchors that have been located over there by divers. And then we more recently have been involved searching where the real Solomon's temple and Herod's temple are located. We're looking for where Christ was crucified, and that's where Golgotha is, of course. I don't think people are going to be too believing of where we say, because tradition is such a strong thing, so you have to get past that big rock in the road that's called 'tradition' to find these locations. You take what the Bible says, and you bump into these roadblocks of tradition. So we try to go around these traditions and follow God's words as a roadmap and as a compass and as a guide."

How much have these travels helped Cornuke's faith to actually see the Bible come to life?

"I don't care who we are you know the Bible is a very difficult thing to believe you see—well, there's the Red Sea parting, and you see the world being flooded, and you see animals aboard the ark, and you start saying 'Well, that's a little farfetched,' and then you say 'Wait a second; God put that in the Bible.'

"The Bible is God's revelation of Himself to man. God's the author. Salvation's the end, and truth without any mixture of error is the content. The Bible is and shall be the supreme standard by which we should live. We should stop saying, 'Wait a second; we're second-guessing God,' because that's impossible. If the first line in the Bible is 'In the beginning God created ...' anything is possible. God can create. He can allow, he can provide things such as the flood to teach a disbelieving world about Himself and His nature and what He's intended. For instance, Noah's ark—if you're on that ark, you're saved. If you're off that ark, you perish. So there's no 'spiritual Switzerland' when you're on the ark of Christ today—you're saved. If you're off the ark of Christ today, you perish. The ark was a forerunner of Jesus and a perfect illustration of salvation."

Cornuke continued: "But the world wants to make everything complex, and they want to say, 'I want to have all these answers.' We don't have all the answers. God says 'I don't want you to have all the answers. I want you to have a childlike faith.' Matthew 11:25 says: 'Oh Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank You for hiding the truth from those who think themselves so wise and clever and for revealing it to the childlike.' Not the childish, the childlike. We have too many intellectuals today. People these days just puffed up with all this intellect that they can't see the truth past the scales in their eyes and the plugs that are in their ears. The Bible says, 'Thank you for hiding the truth from those that think themselves so wise and clever.'

"The whole university system is designed to gut God out of the divine and say these things didn't happen. The Red Sea parted from a strong wind. No, God parted the Red Sea with His mighty hand! The Bible says, 'I will show you these things that you should know that I'm the Lord your God.' He didn't do it because he was a cosmic show-off. He showed the people because He wanted them to know there was no other way of salvation except through Me. That's what God's done with his Son Jesus Christ who died on the cross for our sins, gruesome death; He paid the price for our sins. It just pains God's heart to see a world today that's totally disbelieving, that's caught up in following man instead of what God is saying."

What's next for Cornuke — are there more adventures, or will he ever hang up his boots?

"For some people, they stop. And so why do I look for these things? Because I try to show people the physical evidence that's in the Bible. People say, 'Well, you just need to have faith.' Well, faith is a great thing, but people say, 'Well, you just need to have faith. Why do you need to find things?' Well, how did Jesus teach when He encountered the doubting Thomas? He said, 'Look at the holes in my hands and my side.' And what did Thomas do? He fell down and said, 'My Lord and my God!'

"I try to show people the evidence, the physical evidence that these ancient historical events are real and true; and if we rely on the Bible—every word of the Bible from start to finish—we can rely on the Bible; and if we do so, we have the faith of a child ,and the world will change, and you can move mountains with that kind of faith. So the world today is doubting—and who blames them, because they're getting fed nothing but this nonsense from a secular world that says they have the answers when they don't even know what the question is, let alone have the answers."

What's New

The Seeing Eye GPS XT continues to evolve with new features and improvements thanks to Aira Tech Corp. The improvements in this release are only the beginning of what is yet to come.

Bug fixes and performance improvements
1. Improved Address and POI searches. Implemented Smart Search fields on the Address and POI search screens to minimize the need for entering information. Now you can enter the entire search in one search field and the app offers suggested matches, so there is no need to type the whole address or POI name.

2. Added automatic announcement for heading changes over 50 degrees. The default is set to announce Under 15 MPH.

3. Beta feature: Added automatic announcement for street changes after you have traveled 50 feet or 15 meters on the new street. Since this is an experimental feature aimed at pedestrian use only, the default is set to OFF. If you choose to enable this feature within Lookaround settings, we ask that you provide feedback to iPh-one@senderogroup.com about your experience.

4. View restaurant menus on Foursquare POIs. If the POI has a menu stored in the database, the app will link to it.

5. Updated indoor navigation SDKs for LoudSteps and Ningo.

One of the main things these folks have in common is trade with Iraq. That requires mechanisms to be in place. What are mechanisms? Well they are tools for exchange purposes. As in a medium of exchange with currencies.

Just like we see between the UAE and Korea. Those two are doing Currency Swaps between themselves again apparently. Well the UAE is as Iraq is part of the GCC. The common denominator is going to be trade in goods and services and among many other things of importance.

All the tourists will need to exchange say Won when arriving into Dinar, just as those in Jordan, China, Japan, USA, GB, Canada, etc.. Iraq will need to make change in and out of the conversion process.

Therefor having mechanisms in place now is very important.

Especially when the exchange rate changes. They'll have plenty of the medium that is necessary to satisfy the trading, etc. imo That is for local trade, however, it is more in depth than that. They'll need another mechanism for the larger players electronically and that imo would be the FX.

Now we see that the USA is calling for Iraq to rely on herself. Well to do that they'll need to rely on the new strength that goes with internationalism.

Internationalism is at a true rate with hardy fundamentals, not a forced program rate from the past. Looks to me they were told time is up. So, I would then think that they are about to use the tools they have to finally do it.

On another note. I noticed a very interesting and lengthy theme on corruption on the last thread. A large amount for one day. Even where Tamimi was replaced, she being a Finance Minister. Go figure, Iran and or Maliki connection?

The fascinating thing is also that we here in the USA just witnessed where there were approximately 8 more indictments handed down on (effectively) corruption at high levels in our Gov.

I don't imagine that Washington telling Iraq it is time to rely on yourself, doesn't have anything to do with, "We did what we needed to do and we now have things in place, so it is time for you too, Iraq. " ~ MM Thus, all the files on corruption and even Tamimi going down imo is by no coincidence. imo Time will tell. ~ MM

South Korea and UAE renew deal to swap currencies more than $ 5 billion for 3 years

13th April, 2019

South Korea's central bank said it had agreed to renew a currency swap agreement with the UAE to boost financial stability for both countries.

The $ 5.4 billion currency swap, first signed in 2013 and completed in October 2016, will be put into effect by April 2022, the Bank of Korea said in a statement, adding that talks to extend the deal had been postponed due to disagreements on regulatory issues.

South Korea has currency swap agreements totaling more than $ 132.8 billion with more than seven countries, including China, Canada and Switzerland. LINK

btw South Korea built a huge housing Project outside of Baghdad, don't think they don't have Dinars. Also, the IMF is talking about a new SDR currency. Now think about that. All those big names in the SDR baseket now most likely are holding Dinar.

If so, they are all going to get a big shot in the arm supporting their respective values of their currencies, just as the UAE may by being a part of the AMF basket, just as Iraq is..imo ~ MM

This past week, Britain got the perfect media distraction from its massive betrayal of Brexit voters - the 'arrest' of Julian Assange in the London Ecuador Embassy, a month after Ecuador received $4.2 billion in funding from the USA-dominated IMF.  Ecuador is also lined up for a new USA trade 'deal'.

We all tend to be too eager for a 'hero' against the establishment, so we don't recognize that sometimes, a fake 'hero' is supplied by the CIA's own favoured media outlets.

pope-julian.jpg
(Thought only Popes do this sign)

And indeed, there is evidence that anti-9-11-truth Assange, is a Mossad - CIA fraud, with a long history tied to the world's wealthiest family, the Israel-devoted Rothschilds. We need to see what every major government knows, there is nothing real about either Julian Assange or Edward Snowden.

The 'Assange living in the Ecuador embassy for 7 years' story, is apparently a fairy tale, an easy hoax to pull off, with Assange only there for photos and meetings. The IMF - USA cash & trade deal for Ecuador, not only rewards the staging the 'arrest' of Assange, but also the cover-up of the fact he was never really living there.

Assange was easily moved in & out to Rothschild friends' homes, using wig, fake glasses & moustache, workman's uniforms etc; London police on 24 / 7 watch, helping under national security orders; Ecuador embassy staff perhaps bribed, and facing career destruction or worse, plus no media support, if they say anything.

To fill out the details, one can start by noting the very friendly, mutual-praise relationship between Julian Assange and Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, documented on Veterans Today.

Haaretz even reports Turkish leading figures close to Erdogan talking about the evidence of Wikileaks as an Israeli-supported operation, the Turks saying: "Israel is very pleased. Israel has been making statements for days, even before the release of these [Wikileaks] documents. Documents were released and they immediately said, Israel will not suffer from this. How did they know that?"

Veterans Today reports they learned of Israeli media quoting Bibi Netanyahu saying, "Assange is talking to us and nothing will be released that will hurt us", VT adding: "Wikileaks is a unit of Israeli intelligence ... as early as 2011, Julian Assange admitted that all Wikileaks material was submitted to Israel before publishing, with some of that editing and reviewing done at New York Times offices by staff from the Israeli consulate in New York. We have on the spot confirmation of this. "

THE BAER BANK EPISODE

One of Julian Assange's early 'Wikileaks' campaigns, was to greatly damage the 1800s-vintage Swiss Bank Julius Baer (Julius Bär), the great rival to the Rothschild Bank in Switzerland.

WIDMER.jpg
At age 52, wealthy Julius Baer CEO Alex Widmer was found 'mysteriously dead', allegedly 'suicide'. Assange provided 'leaks' about Julius Baer and its clients, Assange claiming to be concerned about 'tax evasion', striking fear into the bank's customers, and eventually sinking the bank's share value 60%.

Julius Baer went to court in the USA where Wikileaks was hosted, to stop Wikileaks revealing client data ... the Fox Rothschild law firm represented Wikileaks, won, and got Wikileaks back dishing dirt on the Rothschild bank rival, permanently damaging it.

Another Julian Assange lawyer has been Mark Stephens of Finers Stephens Innocent, legal advisors to Rothschild Waddesdon Trust.

A person who has posted bail for Assange, is UK socialite Jemima Khan née Goldsmith (Goldschmidt), a sister in law of the Rothschilds, her brother Ben wed Kate Rothschild, her father James Goldsmith a Rothschild cousin.
The Rothschild-backed and supervised 'The Economist' touted Julian as a great 'hero' for his Swiss bank leaking that helped the Rothschild bank trounce its competitor.

The UK Guardian news site, major early promoter of Assange, has had 'Scott Trust' board supervision from Paul Myners of Rothschild Ltd & Sons, and Anthony Salz of Investment Bank Rothschild.

Assange has stayed at the country mansion of Vaughan Smith, owner of media organisation Frontline Trust, where Assange has been a speaker, 'Frontline' funded by George Soros ... Soros is a partner of Rothschild cousin Goldsmith, and Richard Katz of Rothschild & Sons has been director of the Soros Open Society Institute, with other Rothschild bank employees also on Soros boards.

arton32798.jpg
The pumper of Edward Snowden, Glen Greenwald has been a Rothschild family employee too, brought in after they realised it was too ridiculous to sell Snowden via the Washington Post reporter Snowden first 'leaked' to, Bart Gellman, who is the biographer & friend of USA Vice President & warmonger Dick Cheney ... Now, Greenwald is funded by CIA-Ukraine meddling billionaire Pierre Omidyar.

Notice that despite 'USA federal criminal indictment' etc, there is no seizure of Wikileaks funds etc. or deplatforming of its touts - Wikileaks successfully shilling for donations even now ... whilst many other people, have been de-platformed, banned, blocked from fundraising etc, for mere slightly dissident opinion, without even an accusation of crime.

At age 82, US longtime CIA adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski admitted on 29 November 2010 on USA television, the PBS News Hour, that Wikileaks were clearly intel-agency seeded and selected.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAca9RdGl98

Aside from Wikileaks material on countries targeted by the US-Nato or Israel - such as the 'Arab Spring' incitement material - 'Wikileaks' regarding the USA were 'nothing dramatically new' (US foreign torture etc); 'control file' material (Hillary-bashing, to hold over her head in case she won); and overall designed to 'rat trap' - lure, identify & destroy - real dissidents lured into contacting Wikileaks.

RICH1.jpeg
At least two people who contacted Assange have turned up dead - Seth Rich & Peter W Smith. Assange pretends to be 'concerned' about the former; he denies receiving the latter's files. Others are jailed.

Tho they claim to fear extradition, Assange and Snowden, like good CIA assets, refuse to use the devastating files on USA Virginia federal judge bribery which have stopped other extraditions, even though those judges are the exact ones who would allegedly put Assange & Snowden on trial. It is all been a fraud with these 'fake heroes', and the Satanists are having a good laugh over it.

WHY THE ARREST NOW?

Why was Assange 'arrested' now? The 'seven years living in a tiny room in the London Ecuador Embassy' story, was obviously getting long in the tooth, harder to believe the longer it continued. Assange and Snowden are creations of the Obama CIA, and shortly after Trump took office, moves were made toward winding down the Assange hoax, with Sweden even dropping their dodgy 'rape charges' against Assange in early 2017. The timing at the moment was chosen to distract from the British Brexit debacle, now tearing apart British society with the betrayal of 17 million UK Brexit voters.

There is also the fact that the ongoing travails of a supposed 'dissident hero', with a popular 'personality', distracts from many things, such as Israel's latest bombing attack on Syria, or on Gaza. Every week for a while there can be some new 'Assange story' twist and turn.

We may have news-headline 'Assange updates' ahead for months or even years, perhaps ending finally in some fake 'people's victory' for Assange, or perhaps even a fake 'trial' and a fake 'imprisonment', as people suspect take place for some of these unlikely purported 'lone wolf attackers' who are presented to us in various suspicious 'killing events'.

THE ASSANGE-ROTHSCHILD CONNECTION

What is the basis of the deep bond between Julian Assange and the Rothschilds? The Rothschilds with their estimated 400 billion (at least) fortune, and passion for Israel, naturally have a great interest in media control, taking a direct role on boards supervising leading global media such as the UK Guardian and The Economist.

But in order to really control media, one needs to control the 'opposition' media as well, and to channel the energies of potential dissidents. During the Obama era, it was decided to give the world two fake 'dissident heroes', pumped by Rothschild and CIA partner media, who would deceive the entire world. These two fake dissidents, Julian Assange and Edward Snowden, perhaps exceeded expectations in how they duped the public, despite their obvious Rothschild and CIA-establishment connections, and despite obvious trouble signs such as indulging Israel and aggressively opposing 9-11 truth.

Assange and Snowden provided many side benefits for the global NWO cabal, such as de-legitimising real dissidents, with many people saying things like, 'Well, if it was true, wouldn't Assange and Snowden, and their 'brave' media, be telling us about it?' The tragic unknowable is how many dissidents were crushed and silenced, even killed, after being lured into the 'rat trap' of Snowden & Assange and their media.

Switzerland held a referendum on a change in tax law. A court ruled the referendum was invalid because the voters were not properly informed about the law.

Switzerland's system gives direct democracy a major role. It holds referendum votes several times a year. I think this is admirable. That courts ensure the honesty of the referendum system makes it even better.

From the article on Henry Makow's site in Canada, 'Arrest of Julian Assange is Just Theatre':

A helpful history is gathered in, 'Wikileaks is a Rothschild operation: Rothschilds use Wikileaks to wound rival bank, Julian Assange’s bail posted by Rothschild sister-in-law' [details below about Julian Assange helping the Rothschild bank to wreck a rival]

At least two people who contacted Assange have turned up dead - Seth Rich & Peter W Smith. Assange pretends to be 'concerned' about the former; he denies receiving the latter's files. Others are jailed.

Tho they claim to fear extradition, Assange and Snowden, like good CIA assets, refuse to use the devastating files on USA Virginia federal judge bribery which have stopped other extraditions, even tho those judges are the exact ones who would allegedly put Assange & Snowden on trial. It is all been a fraud with these 'fake heroes', and the satanists are having a good laugh over it.

The timing at the moment, was chosen to distract from the British Brexit debacle, now tearing apart British society with the betrayal of 17 million UK Brexit voters.

Assange and Snowden provided many side benefits for the global NWO cabal, such as de-legitimising real dissidents, with many people saying things like, 'Well, if it was true, wouldn't Assange and Snowden, and their 'brave' media, be telling us about it?' The tragic unknowable, is how many dissidents were crushed and silenced, even killed, after being lured into the 'rat trap' of Snowden & Assange and their media.

Gorgeous natural blue gemstones adorn this one of a kind necklace. The kyanite chips are a beautiful sky blue; the navy blue lapis stones flicker with pyrite inclusions. The unique 3D oval Hill Tribe silver spiral pendant measures 1 1/2" wide and 2 1/2" tall. The necklace closes with a sterling hook and a 2" extension. A very nice piece.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The name kyanite is derived from kynos, the Greek word for "blue." Because of its dark blue color, the ancient Greeks identified kyanite as the protective stone of seafarers. It was offered to those about to embark on long journeys. It is found in several colors, ranging from white to bluish-white, pale blue and intense blue. Besides the USA, kyanite is also found in Finland, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, West Africa and Brazil.

Lapis lazuli was one of the first gemstones ever to be used and worn as jewelry. Excavations around the Mediterranean have unearthed jewelry samples left in tombs to accompany the deceased into the afterlife. The countless other necklaces and artifacts crafted from lapis lazuli found in ancient sites are a clear indication that the people of Mesopotamia, Egypt, Persia, Greece and Rome cherished this deep blue gemstone. Persian legend says the sky owes its color to a giant slab of lapis upon which the earth rests. The legendary city of Ur, situated on the Euphrates River, is reported to have run a busy trade in lapis lazuli as early as 4000 B.C. Many cultures worshiped it as a holy stone, especially in the Orient, where it was believed to contain magical powers. The stone was introduced to Europe by Alexander the Great. In the Middle Ages, monks powdered the stone and kneaded it into dough with beeswax, resin and linseed oil, for use in illuminated manuscripts. Major sources include Afghanistan, Egypt, Canada and Chile.

The role played by silver in ancient civilizations is similar to that played by gold. Until the eighteenth century silver was considered almost as valuable as gold. silver jewelry was produced as early as the fourth millennium B.C. Saxony was for a long time the main supplier of silver and it became very rich as a result. After the discovery of the Americas by the Europeans, so much silver was mined in the United States and Mexico that the price and the value attached to silver fell sharply. Today the largest deposits of silver are found in Mexico, Australia and the former Soviet Union. Silver is a precious metal, not a mineral.

Footballer who was the first Englishman to score twice in a match in the World Cup finals

The footballer Ivor Broadis, who has died aged 96, played in all three of England’s games in the World Cup finals of 1954 as they reached the last eight in Switzerland.

In that tournament Broadis, a powerful inside forward, became the first Englishman to score twice in a match in the World Cup finals, 30 minutes ahead of Nat Lofthouse, who also got two in the same 4-4 draw against Belgium in a group match in Basel. England, whose strong team featured Stanley Matthews, Tom Finney and Billy Wright, topped their group after beating the host nation 2-0, but then lost 4-2 in the quarter-finals to Uruguay.

These wonderful little "coin" kyanite stones simple can't stop shimmering. Such lovely stones that come more alive with their dangling paddle of fine Thai Hill Tribe silver. Remarkable blue earrings.

->->-> For Those Who Believe ;)
-- KYANITE --
lightness, relaxing, drives away sadness
Star Sign:
Aries - this gemstone assists in meditation, dissolves energy blockages and at the same time activates, calms and promotes the healthful flow of positive life energy. It promotes mental and spiritual growth in Aries.
Taurus - kyanite produces positive energy, encourages calmness and sharpens Taurus concentration.
Libra - kyanite leads Libra to new thoughts and makes life seem more worth living.

-- SILVER --
Some believe that silver transmits and intensifies the power of healing stones, so that when they are set in silver they become even more powerful. Turquoise and coral are examples. Like gold, silver symbolizes wealth and prosperity. Those prone to outbursts of anger and rudeness can be pacified by silver.

NSYNC, Nicki Minaj to perform with Ariana Grande at Coachella?      Comment   Translate Page

[USA], Apr 14 (ANI): Coachella 2019 is off to good start this year with Selena Gomez making a surprise appearance during DJ Snake's recent performance and Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry treating their fans with the first glimpse of the music festival PDA of the season!

Seems like Coachella has something more in store as Ariana Grande may soon treat her fans by performing with NSYNC band and rapper Nicki Minaj during her festival-closing set at Coachella today night, reported Variety.

Grande is headlining Coachella on Sunday night and she has been teasing her fans on her Instagram account that she might do a collaboration with the 90s boy band.

On Friday, Grande posted an old video of her and her mom at NSYNC concert from many years ago on the photo-sharing application, and the video pans to baby Grande singing along in her mother's arm.

Later that same day, the singer also posted a video of herself dancing and lip-syncing to the NSYNC classic 'Tearin' Up My Heart' with the caption "The best medicine 90s baby."

NSYNC band was an American boy band formed in Orlando, Florida, in 1995. It consisted of Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass.

However, word is that Timberlake will not be on board for the guest appearance during the music festival.

Minaj is less of a surprise for the fans as she has teamed up with Grande on several songs in the past, including 'Side To Side', 'Bed', 'Bang Bang' to name a few. The two are labelmates and co-sign each other regularly.

The singer recently shared photos of scans of her brain, and they showed that she has "terrifying" PTSD levels. However, the singer has been healing with the help of music. Last month she shared an emotional Instagram post saying, "music really saved my life and turned everything around."

The post by Grande has created a sense of worry amongst her fans that bombarded her with a long list of questions regarding the health of the 25-year-old singer.

As per an E! News report, last June, the 25-year-old singer candidly spoke about her anxiety and "signs of PTSD" with British Vogue.

On the work front, Ariana trademarked her recent song and album titled 'Thank You, Next ' after its massive success. The Grammy award winner wants to come up with a beauty line based on the hit single and subsequent album which dropped in February, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

Meanwhile, Grande is currently performing for her 'Sweetener World Tour'. The tour kicked off on March 18 and will wrap up in Switzerland in October. (ANI)

English language usage and politicians’ prowess | Letters      Comment   Translate Page
Terence McSweeney explains why English is often used internationally, Steve Callaghan says politicians need to invest in modern language teaching across all sectors, Philip Stewart recalls a teacher exchange scheme shunned by Thatcher, Anke Neibig explains why fewer students are taking up languages, and Paul Tattam on how the media can help

I too have worked in many countries, in my case as an engineer. Jan Wiczkowski (Letters, 12 April) seems to want to ignore the historical reasons for the disproportionate weight of the English language internationally. They are many. For instance, a Polish company drawing up a contract with a Chinese customer will see that contract employ English law. The international language of aviation, and of the oil industry, is English.

Countries with heavily dialected languages (for example, in Flanders and Switzerland) will see the natives use English when they can’t understand people from just 30 miles away. I saw this in Belgium when friends from Antwerp had to use English to order beer in a cafe in Breda! The colossal reach of the BBC is another reason why English is the default language around the world, as is the fact of the vast bulk of engineering having originated in the UK.

Pada pendapat kami, bila drive kereta sendiri senang nak hangkut segala brg, ye la kami dgn 3 anak kecil jadi senang bergerak. kalau menaiki tren, kene ikut waktu dan tak dpt nak bayangkan dgn nak angkut segala mende, dgn nk jaga keselamatan brg2 lg.

Senang nak budget cost utk pengangkutan.

So, penting utk pengembaraan Europe ni ialah:

3) Pengangkutan- drive. Pastikan anda memiliki lesen memandu antarabangsa.. senang je nak apply, just pergi ke jpj then cakap nak buat lesen antarabangsa bayar RM 150 tu harga 2thn lepas. Bahagian pintu hadapan belah penumpang kemek sikit, belah aku duduk pulak tu. mujur xde kecederaan berlaku. Alhamdulillah sgt. Kereta dia yg teruk bhgn hdpn.

Pemandangan belakang tu sgt mempesona..

Bahagian belakang kereta.

Mujur muat segala beg yang ada.

Senarai negara yang dilawati:

1) Italy: Rome, Venice, Milan, Lake Como
2) Switzerland: Interlaken, Bern, Zermatt, Lucerne, Grindelwald, Lauternbrunen
3) France: Paris

Jgn lupa bawa kompas.. Masa kat Venice, susah juga cari tempat yg bersih sebab byk tahi burung kat jalan2.. lorong2.. anjing pun byk.. anjing pun kencing merata-dinding2 dan tiang2.  Jadinya solat kat gereja, husband minta kebenaran dulu dgn penjaga gereja..dia bg.. pastu husband cari tmpt yg jauh dr tmpt org lalu2 dan bhgn yg bukan mengadap patung2 depa.. dlm gereja bersih..tawakal je la.. mana ada surau kat Venice..

Bab makanan pulak, kitorang byk bawa bekalan dr Malaysia~ beras, santan serbuk, biskut2, mknn dlm tin, nasi Brahim's dll.

Kat Malaysia bangla tolong timbang 😜

Lagi satu, kat Italy ni nak pegang buah atau sayur perlu pakai sarung tangan plastik yg disediakan, untuk mengelakkan kontaminasi agaknya. sebab kitorg kene tegur sebab xpakai sarung tgn masa pilih buah. Mana kitorang tau sblm tu.

Tu dia byk borong bekalan mknn.

Bab pakaian pulak, seperti biasalah ikut suhu, time aku pergi tu kira penghujung musim sejuk. Kt Italy dan Paris xsejuk sgt berbanding Switzerland, masa tu la. Pakai long john, baju yg kain kapas dan jaket. Time berangin mmg bertambah2 sejuk.

When using your credit card, decline an offer to have the charge converted to USD; better to pay in the local currency (EUR or CHF in Germany and Switzerland, respectively).

This is important. It's known as "direct currency conversion" and is pitched as a convenience to you, but in reality it's a chance for the merchant and their bank to rip you off. DCC can add 2-8% to your bill! Always decline.

If you aren't given the chance to decline, you can dispute the transaction with Visa and Mastercard. Merchants who don't give you an option are breaking the rules and you'll usually have a pretty easy time winning the dispute.
