I dont know about you but God has been kind and I discovered mine couple of days ago..... I heard from my Rohit last week and we got together the day before....As a matter of fact he,s lying in bed totally pooped out from our encounter after lunch today and we,ve been at it all afternoon...now thats what I call PARADISE. We lost touch with each other soon after school and then bumped into each other in HongKong much later on Nathan Road ,,while I was on a shopping spree with my wife and he with his. In short ,, we exchanged pleasantries and also our business cards. Some days later I had a call from him asking me if we could get together. It was as if I had found KOHINOOR DIAMOND.... I was perplexed and didnt know if it was all a dream or real. To cut a long story short we did meet up in Delhi and got together in Meridian hotel where we stayed for three whole days ...totally freaked out on each other till none of us had even a drop of cum left. We had such wild lovemaking that would put the best of North Africans or Blacks Or whatever to shame. Although both of us were worried about our marital status and although we had initial inhibitions whether it was right or whatever yet we just freaked out and believe u me it was the best time of my life..and his , too ..or so he told me and I could make out he was not shamming. God has his own ways and I discovered this....it was a very pleasant surprise to be together with the guy of my dreams... Now for the extraordinary bit.....For the first time ever after being forewarned about the rigours of AIDS....We both drank each other's cum many times as if we couldnt do without it.....Mind you..No tests no nothing...it was plain simple love.....We both trusted and just gave into each other. Please dont forget that we both are married people and such things are unheard of in India. I have no idea if I,m ill and I,m sure he is no different. But we both made love in good faith..like old times and I have no regrets whatsoever. Our next encounter is scheduled for Dusseldorf in Germany where I,ve invited him to be my guest for 2 weeks and thereafter , if all goes well, I,ll visit him in Paris where he is working as a Marketing manager and living alone. I want everyone to know that I,ve been with some of the best guys from the world over without having to pay a penny ,save for times when I,ve spent on maybe a meal. I,ve never EVER paid a dime for sex and I,ve had the best of guys of all shapes, sizes and colour from all over....and I,ve NEVER EVER been blackmailed by anyone including the dozen odd Nigerians or the dozen odd Ghanaians or cameroonians or kenyans that I went around with.....mind you ....Not ONE. God be with you all. Cheers.

Various Artists: Two Niles To Sing A Melody: The Violins & Synths Of Sudan      Cache   Translate Page

Ostinato LP 005 (UK 3x LP) - € 33.00

In Sudan, the political and cultural are inseparable.

In 1989, a coup brought a hardline religious government to power. Music was violently condemned. Many musicians and artists were persecuted, tortured, forced to flee into exile — and even murdered, ending one of the most beloved music eras in all of Africa and largely denying Sudan's gifted instrumentalists, singers, and poets, from strutting their creative heritage on the global stage.

What came before in a special era that protected and promoted the arts was one of the richest music scenes anywhere in the world. Although Sudanese styles are endlessly diverse, this compilation celebrates the golden sound of the capital, Khartoum. Each chapter of the cosmopolitan city's tumultuous musical story is covered through 16 tracks: from the hypnotic violin and accordion-driven orchestral music of the 1970s that captured the ears and hearts of Africa and the Arabic-speaking world, to the synthesizer and drum machine music of the 1980s, and the music produced in exile in the 1990s. The deep kicks of tum tum and Nubian rhythms keep the sound infectious.

Sudan of old had music everywhere: roving sound systems and ubiquitous bands and orchestras kept Khartoum's sharply dressed youth on their feet. Live music was integral to cultural life, producing a catalog of concert recordings. In small arenas and large outdoor venues, musical royalty of the day built Khartoum's reputation as ground zero for innovation and technique that inspired a continent.

Musicians in Ethiopia and Somalia frequently point to Sudan's biggest golden era stars as idols. Mention Mohammed Wardi — a legendary Sudanese singer and activist akin to Fela Kuti in stature and impact in his music and politics — and they often look to the heavens. A popular story is of one man from Mali who walked for three months across the Sahel to Sudan because the father of the woman he wanted to marry would only allow it if he got him a signed cassette from Wardi himself. Saied Khalifa is said to be the one of the few singers to make Ethiopian emperor Haile Selassie smile.

Such is the stature of Sudanese singers and the reputation of Sudanese music, particularly in the "Sudanic Belt," a cultural zone that stretches from Djibouti all the way west to Mauritania, covering much of the Sahara and the Sahel, lands where Sudanese artists are household names and Sudanese poems are regularly used as lyrics until today to produce the latest hits. Sudanese cassettes often sold more in Cameroon and Nigeria than at home.

But years of anti-music sentiment have made recordings in Sudan difficult to source. Ostinato's team traveled to Ethiopia, Somalia, Djibouti, and Egypt in search of the timeless cultural artifacts that hold the story of one of Africa's most mesmerizing cultures. That these cassette tape and vinyl recordings were mainly found in Sudan's neighbors is a testament to Sudanese music's widespread appeal.

With our Sudanese partner and co-compiler Tamador Sheikh Eldin Gibreel, a once famous poet and actress in ’70s Khartoum, Ostinato's fifth album, following our Grammy-nominated "Sweet As Broken Dates," revives the enchanting harmonies, haunting melodies, and relentless rhythms of Sudan’s brightest years, fully restored, remastered and packaged luxuriously in a triple LP gatefold and double CD bookcase to match the regal repute of Sudanese music. A 20,000-word liner note booklet gives voice to the singers silenced by an oppressive regime.

Take a sail down the Blue and White Nile as they pass through Khartoum, carrying with them an ancient history and a never-ending stream of poems and songs. It takes two Niles to sing a melody.

  1. Emad Youssef: Al Bareedo Ana (The One I Love)

Oshiomhole under stress, working for floundering govt, says Jonathan      Cache   Translate Page
A former President, Dr Goodluck Jonathan,  has said there are indications that the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Mr Adams Oshiomhole, is under stress.

He explained that the stress could be as a result of workload and that he (Oshiomhole) was also working for what he called a floundering government.

Jonathan said these in a statement in Abuja, on Wednesday, while reacting to a claim by Oshiomhole that vote-buying started under the former president.

The former president, whose statement was signed by his media aide, Mr Ikechukwu Eze, also described Oshiomhole as a man of double identity.

The statement was titled, “Oshiomhole: The burden of blame game and tumultuous leadership.”

Oshiomhole, while being featured on a Channels Television programme, Roadmap, was quoted to have said, “President Jonathan started this massive vote buying in Nigeria and the media must play back and do a proper interview and proper investigation to discover the origin of vote- buying.”

Jonathan said he did not know why Oshiomhole decided to engage in what he described as misleading falsehood.

But he said the former governor could be under pressure.

He said, “We can only guess that Mr Oshiomhole, who is currently operating under tremendous stress in the bid to steady the already floundering ship of his administration as the new leader of his party, may have got himself entangled in a voyage of tactless desperation.

“His recent flip-flops where he praised Governor Samuel Ortom and Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso one day only to denounce them the very next day, is enough evidence of his fragile psychological state.

“Not only is he content on squabbling with members of the opposition, we note the self-destructive tendencies of Oshiomhole, who is locked in a feud with members of his own party, including the Minister of Labour, Chris Ngige, and a host of APC governors.

“It appears that Mr Oshiomhole’s psychological strain may have reached boiling point.”

The statement noted that vote-buying became known during the 2016 governorship election, more than a year after Jonathan left office.

According to the statement, “On the vexatious issue of ‘vote-buying’, which has unfortunately found its way into our election lexicon, this is what we know: It is obvious that the shameful development in our democratic experience became very glaring during the 2016 governorship election in Edo State; an exercise that took place more than one year after President Jonathan had left office.

“It is, therefore, disingenuous for any politician or group to link the former president with the anomaly, no matter how they want to stretch the now-failing blame game.

“While in office as president between 2010 and 2015, Jonathan conducted many elections including the 2011 and 2015 general elections, and many off-season governorship and parliamentary elections in some states like Anambra, Ekiti, Ondo and Edo; and not for once did the issue of vote-buying come up in the assessment of those elections.

“It is instructive that in each case, the former President was given a clean bill, with both local and international observers commending him for having supervised a credible and transparent process.”

Eze said one of those who gave the former President a clean bill of health was Oshiomhole.

According to him,  Oshiomhole was quoted to have said on July 16, 2012, that “What the Edo election has confirmed is that when the President and Commander-in-Chief puts the country first and he conducts himself as a statesman not just as a party leader, credible elections are possible.”

He said when the above statement is juxtaposed with Oshiomhole’s current statement, “it becomes obvious that the APC chairman is suffering from multiple personality syndrome and has Jekyll and Hyde schizophrenia.”

Eze added that the wave of commendation for Jonathan’s electoral conduct had continued, long after he had left office.

For example, he said in November 2017, a United Nations delegation led by Ambassador Mohamed Ibn Chambas, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for West Africa and the Sahel, and Chairman of the Cameroon-Nigeria Mixed Commission, had commended Jonathan for the positive outcome of the electoral reforms he initiated during his tenure, and prayed that the institutions he had built and the high standards he had set in organising credible and peaceful elections were maintained and sustained by his successors.
