The RFID Module has a slot for mounting, just slide it in!

As for the Arduino: I decided for now not to include a mounting, because this way it doesn't matter if you use the additional TonUINO PCB or not. Maybe hot glue the Arduino / other PCBs to the case.

The lid has a nice snap fit (Source: Adam James on YouTube, thanks!)

Future features, IF I touch the design again .. :)

매일 다양한 분야의 전시회가 열리는 곳, 코엑스. 취재차 방문한 그곳에서 ‘국내 최초 산업과 예술의 융합 전시회’라는 문구를 따라 발걸음을 옮겼다. B홀에서 8월 12일까지 진행중인 ‘산업미디어아트쇼서울 2018'. 움직이는 영상과 빛의 변화, 물체의 운동을 표현하는 커넥트 아트를 비롯해 관람객의 참여로 완성되는 인터렉티브 아트, 비디어 작품까지 다양한 작품을 만날 수 있었다. 특히 대부분의 작품에 LED가 사용돼 화려하고 선명한 빛을 뿜어냈다.







일반적인 전력선을 이용해 음성과 영상 등을 전송하는 기술 PLC(Power Line Communication, 전력선 통신)가 접목된 작품으로 PLC 외에도 센서 등이 재료로 쓰인 재활용로봇 작품이다.







아두이노(Arduino), 두 대의 빔프로젝터와 센서와 모터 등으로 구현된 작품. 아두이노는 센서로부터 입력 값을 받아들여 LED 및 모터의 전자 장치들의 출력을 제어하는 도구다. 캐릭터의 코를 간지럽히면 그림이 커지는 등 실시간으로 반응한다.







반은 인간이고 반은 로봇인 조형물. 현재의 과학 담론을 보며 “너무 낙관적이지도, 비관적이지도 않은 무표정한 미래를 예측하게 된다”는 작가의 설명이 멋지다.

Les ESP8266 ont été des microcontrôleurs complets qui ont secoué le monde maker, du DIY et des IoT. Petits, peu chers, avec des ressources confortables, ils ont vite conquis une grande communauté. Certains modèles étaient de grande qualité comme les cartes  Wemos. 

Les deux modèles partagent le wifi par défaut, la petitesse de la board et le prix. On peut trouver une ESP32 à 4,30 / 4,40 $. Et selon les modèles, on disposera des ports SPI, I2C, UART et bien entendu des GPIO pour connecter les capteurs et modules complémentaires. 

Les ESP32 embarque tout d’abord un MCU plus puissant : Xtensa 2 coeurs 32-bit. Le WiFi est légèrement plus puissant, avec les nouvelles normes. Selon les modèles, on double presque les GPIO. Certains modèles incluent aussi le Bluetooth et surtout une série de capteurs : température, tactile, Ethernet Mac, effet hall. Et parfois d’autres capteurs comme l’humidité.

Le modèle de développement est très varié : compatibilité avec Arduino IDE ou encore micro-python. Cependant, comme la carte est encore assez jeune, il peut y avoir des instabilités et des bugs de fonctionnement.

We are very excited about this show. John and Jeff sat down with Scott Davis and his son Tommy to talk about Gamification and Programming for Kids. Tommy is nine years old and the Iowa Code Camp was his second time presenting. Scott and Tommy introduce a package called Scratch that was developed by MIT to teach kids about logic and interacting with programming using sprites. Tommy's favorite experience with programming right now is Lego Mindstorms because of the interaction with the Legos and the development. Most adults when they get started with development also got started with interacting more with the physical machines. The next generation is given amazing tools, but the tools tend to be sealed and the physical interaction is not there. With some of these alternative hobby platforms like Legos, Arduino, and .NET Micro Framework, kids can write some amazing application and see their code work with physical movement and interaction with devices and sensors.

In the second half of this podcast, Scott talks about how companies can us Gamification to prompt employees to interact with software and processes in the organization. We see gamification throughout the consumer space and you need to do is open up the majority of the apps on our phones or tablets and there is some interaction point to give the user a reward for using the tool. Scott gets into his product Qonqr which is described as the board game Risk and Foursquare together. Scott gets into the different mindsets of gamers (Bartle Index) and how you can use these mindsets to get the most out of your team through gamification techniques.
