Why mainland visitors flock to Liechtenstein      Cache   Translate Page   Web Page Cache
I recently visited the tiny landlocked European country of Liechtenstein, which is only about twice the size of Hong Kong Island with a population of a little over 30,000, but which has risen to the top three in GDP per capita in recent years. Liechtenstein is famous for its beautiful postage stamps, but what caught my attention […]

Swiss Crypto Companies Target Banking Licences

Schengen Visa and Switzerland      Cache   Translate Page   Web Page Cache
Hi expert,

I am Indonesian. Curently I am visiting Netherlands, and have Schengen Visa in my passport.

With those Schengen Visa, can I visit Switzerland (for tour purpose)?
From the internet, the Switzerland is not in the list of Schengen Countries.
However, it is mentioned that AXA Schengen covers Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
What does it mean?

please advise
Liechtenstein visa from Austria      Cache   Translate Page   Web Page Cache
Is it possible to get a Liechtenstein visa from Austria? If I have a Schengen visa that only specifies one country (Austria) can I go to Liechtenstein for a day trip or will I not be allowed across because my visa is only for Austria? I know that there is no border patrol or check between Liechtenstein and Switzerland, so if you have a Schengen that only specifies Switzerland then you can still visit Liechtenstein, but is this also true for people coming from the Austrian side?

The hardware segment accounted for the largest share of the RTLS market for healthcare in 2017

The hardware segment accounted for the largest share of the RTLS market for healthcare in 2017. However, the market share of the hardware segment is expected to decrease during the forecast period mainly because of the falling ASPs of tags and readers as the technology further matures. Although the price of hardware components of RTLS solutions is expected to decrease in the near future, the required volume of these hardware components would increase.

UWB-based RTLS solutions are expected to register the highest growth in the RTLS market for healthcare during the forecast period

UWB-based RTLS solutions operate in a large bandwidth spectrum, generally greater than 500 MHz and are reliable and accurate. The increasing popularity of UWB in the RTLS market for healthcare is mainly due to the advantages such as high precision, long battery life, high capacity, and fast update rates. These advantages of UWB solutions make them an ideal choice for high-precision applications in healthcare organizations or facilities. The decline in the prices of UWB tags has also resulted in the high implementation of UWB-based RTLS solutions.

Hospitals and healthcare facilities to continue to dominate the RTLS market for healthcare during the forecast period with a larger market share

Hospitals and healthcare facilities accounted for a larger market share in 2017. Hospitals in the US and European countries have a high demand for RTLS solutions for enhancing their operations, optimizing resource utilization, and increasing profitability. RTLS solutions provide real-time information about the location of people and assets, which helps healthcare organizations in making faster decisions and improving their operational processes. Additionally, the rapid growth in IoT in the healthcare industry has led to the increased adoption of RTLS, thereby accelerating the growth of the RTLS market for healthcare.

The market in APAC expected to register the highest CAGR during the forecast period

Foreign Language Study      Cache   Translate Page   Web Page Cache
 Kat Devlin at Pew:
Overall, a median of 92% of European students are learning a language in school. Most primary and secondary school students across Europe study at least one foreign language as part of their education, according to Eurostat, the statistics arm of the European Commission. Of the 29 European nations for which data are available, 24 have a foreign language learning rate of at least 80%, with 15 of those reaching 90% or more of students enrolled in language courses. In three of the four countries with the smallest student populations – Luxembourg, Malta and Liechtenstein – 100% of students are reported to be learning a foreign language.
...
Meanwhile, far fewer K-12 students in the U.S. participate in foreign language education. Throughout all 50 states and the District of Columbia, 20% of K-12 students are enrolled in foreign language classes, according to a 2017 report from the nonprofit American Councils for International Education. New Jersey (51%) has the most students studying a language, followed by the District of Columbia (47%) and Wisconsin (36%). However, the vast majority of states have less than 25% participation, with only 9% of students studying a foreign language in New Mexico, Arizona and Arkansas. Spanish is overwhelmingly the most popular language studied, though the report also examined languages ranging from Chinese to Latin to American Sign Language.

Europe drastically outpaces U.S. in foreign language learning
