<pre>Greetings, friends and fellow crafters!
By popular demand, we will be hosting our 2nd Annual Happy Stamper Stamp &
Scrap Yard Sale! Please mark your calendars and plan to join us for some
yardsale bargains and shopping fun! Plus, you will be supporting a great
cause!
<b>When: Saturday, June 8 from 9 am - 1 pm</b>
<b>Where: Nokesville Church of the Brethren (13002 Fitzwater Drive,
Nokesville, VA)

You may remember last year, the Nokesville Church of the Brethren, where
Angela serves as full-time lead pastor, was in dire need of some major
maintenance projects (including a new roof, re-paving the parking lot, a
new boiler, new windows and more!).
We are pleased to report that, through a great deal of fundraising last
year - of which so many of you were a part - we have completed the roofing
and windows projects (55 new windows were installed!!!), as well as
installed new flooring in the entryway.
But, we are still raising funds for the new parking lot and boilers - and
plus, we really enjoyed being together and SHOPPING! So, let's do it
again!!!
Here's how you can help:
1. Save the date and plan to attend. There is no admission charge, and
there will be lots of fabulous bargains and grab bags for sale! These are
some great items from the companies you know and love, including gently
used items from Design Team Members. Cash and checks only, so come
prepared.
2. Perhaps you want to rent a table and sell your stash! This is an
excellent way to get rid of items that are no longer your style (your
trash is someone else’s treasure), and make room in your craft area for
more new favorites! Tables rent for a $25.00 donation (checks made
payable to the church). Price all of your own merchandise, sell at your
own table and keep what you make (or, make an additional donation to the
church, if you wish). There are 25 spaces indoors, and once those are
gone, we will begin selling spaces outside - rain or shine. Reserve
yours by emailing Angela (<a class="" href=";
) today!
3. Or, if you don’t want to bother with a table but still want to clear
out your craft space, you can simply donate the items you wish to get rid
of and all proceeds will go to the church maintenance fund. We will
price and sell your supplies, and the church will get the money. We will
make several drop-off times available in the previous shop parking lot
(in Herndon) so that we can have your donations in plenty of time to
price them and so you won’t have to drive to Nokesville to make your
donation.
***The FIRST drop-off date is Saturday, April 27 from 2:00 - 3:30 PM***
4. There will be concessions on-site. All money raised through the sale
of concessions will go to the church. So, you are welcome to eat – or,
you can bring food to donate to the concessions sales or even work a
portion of the time in the kitchen/concession stand as a contribution, if
you wish.
5. As you know, we always had a community outreach component to our Open
Houses, so while this entire event serves as community outreach, we did
want to make available the opportunity to support the Blessings Box – our
outreach to families in need in the Nokesville area. If you’d like to
participate in that, simply bring any of the following items with you to
the event on June 8: laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, baby wipes (all
of which can be picked up for a buck at Dollar Tree), and diapers in all
sizes.
We will be donating any items that don’t sell by the end of the day to the
Herndon Senior Center, the Mansassas Senior Center, the Blue Ridge
Christian Home, and the Nokesville Church of the Brethren Rainbow
Preschool. If you want more information on how to reserve your space or

In addition to our own tables and the Project Bin station, we have <u><b>26 other vendors</b></u>! I truly believe we will have more to choose from than we did at the shop - and that's saying something! I have been working since April to sort all the fabulous donations people have provided - many of the things are brand new!<br />

We have stamps and dies from all your favorite companies: Hero Arts, Memory Box, Impression Obsession, Alte New, Concord & 9th, Penny Black and more! <br />

I will have a table full of tools and another for storage items! There are Big Shot and Cuttlebug machines, Cricuts, Rollabind and Cinch bookmaking tools, punches galore and lots of different paper trimmer options! (4 rooms in my house are completely full of items!) And, don't get me started on all the card stock and 12x12 designer paper we have!!!<br />

And, sometimes it's fun to be surprised! So, we have tremendous grab bags! Each one contains between $50-65 worth of merchandise for only <u><b>$5.00</b></u>! And, they are all marked with a theme: Christmas, Fall, Floral, French/Paris, Summer and so on. <br />

Laura is offering her ever-popular <i><b>10 in 10 class</b></i> featuring all the latest designs from Memory Box and Impression Obsession. The first class is from <a href="; target="_blank">9:30 - 11:30 am </a>and then she will offer it again from <a href="; target="_blank">1:00 - 3:00 pm</a>. We've had a couple cancellations, so there are just a very few spots available in each of the classes. <span class="bodyText">1. We (and the other vendors) are not able to accept credit cards, so please bring cash and/or checks for your purchases. </span><br />

<span class="bodyText">2. You may also want to bring your own bags. We have some at our tables, but not all vendors may have them, so plan ahead. </span><br />
<span class="bodyText"><br /></span>
<span class="bodyText">3. There is SO MUCH to see that you may need the entire day! Therefore, we do have concessions on site - and all of the money from your concession purchases goes towards the Major Maintenance campaign for the church.</span><br />

<span class="bodyText">4. Community Outreach - As you know, we have always had outreach as a part of our Open Houses, so we wanted to make that available to you as well. We will be collecting for our <a href="; target="_blank">Blessings Box program</a>, which you can visit while you're here. We are in desperate need of Laundry Detergent, Dishwashing Soap (and the Dollar Store brands are great, so you can get a lot of bang for your buck (literally) if you shop there) and toothbrushes. </span><br />

If you want to donate some items to be sold at the sale, the
first drop-off date is <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Saturday, April
21</b> from 10am-12pm in the parking lot of where the store used to be: 208
Elden Street in Herndon.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Angela will be
there those two hours to visit and pick up your treasures.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>All the proceeds from the sale will benefit
the church’s major renovation projects, so we are happy to send you proof of
donation for tax purposes, if you’d like one. </div>
