It didn’t quite work in the original because Jessica seemed completely innocent and everybody hating her over something that was quite vague was very mean-spirited. Now that the reboot fleshes out Jessica’s character and establishes her as the alpha bitch, we now have more of a reason to root for the empire. ]]>
