Then, another 6 petals Etsy shop opened with a focus on vintage clothing and accessories. Obviously, we're really into the old and beautiful. But we also want to incorporate some new and modern. Part of why we love vintage and antiques is because of the craftsmanship and attention to detail you find. It's nestled behind a residential neighborhood, and they have a building dedicated to Visual Arts. But instead, my husband and I brought our growing collection to repot our succulents for Spring. Summers in Virginia Beach are perfect for Chesapeake Bay blue crabs. You'll have to get a local to show you, but there's a whole science to eating these guys. After a day and a half, we already have two crabs. One is a male (the bluer one on the top shelf) and one female (the one with the reddish front craws). I've been  using navy as a substitute to black a lot lately. That's why I think that skirt couldn't be more perfect, navy pleated mini in rich leather. Unless you consider the price that is. I did tone down the ombre too, still there but a little less contrasting. That's actually why I didn't blog much in the last month (by much I mean not at all !!!). I've been pretty much bummed out about the whole thing. If you're been reading me the past month, you already know that our house hunting process has been a real debacle and the drama didn't end when we finally found our dream house. We have been waiting for the past month for the city to approve a derogation to the city laws. And we will probably will be waiting for at least an other month. In the meantime, I've been living with my two kids, husband and dog at my mother in law (blessed her for opening her home to us). It's been a little crowded, half of our things (and clothes) are in storage and I've been a little depressed. The place is amazing, it's a brand new, open concept house with a walk in closet for me (eeeek !!!), a garage for the husband and a big bedroom for the boys.  My realtor worked very hard to get us the house at a price we were comfortable with (she's the best !) and if all goes well, we'll have the keys in 2 weeks ! We have been pretty unlucky with the whole process, and every house we've picked (4 in total), was either sold to someone else or didn't get pass the inspection. To be honest, I'm pretty much over the process and heartbreak at this time, I have to leave my current house in 2 weeks and I have come to terms that my only option right now was to put my stuff in storage and go live with my mother in law until we found something ! We did found the perfect home, but after the home inspection (and 600$ later) it turned out to be not so perfect anymore. There was a lot of renovations to be done and possible structural damage and the whole experience was a nightmare. We were so excited, had already decided on decoration, colors for the walls and everything. So right now, I'm pretty bummed and even more stressed out (if that's even possible). So I will continue to spend all my free time searching for a home, visiting many houses and packing boxes (because new home or not, mine is sold already). I'm so over the whole process I swear once I find a place, I'm never ever moving again.
