実に３年ぶりの更新ですよ！ 現在、アメブロから移転している真っ最中なんですけど、アクセス解析を見てみたら、こんな３年間も更新されないブログに毎日３０人くらいの方が見に来られていたんですなあ…。 誠にありがたい話ですよ。   で、この空白の３年間にはいろいろありまして。 劇的に環境が変化したのですよ。 まず、一番人気のこの記事　塗装ブース　兼　集塵機を自作してみる　（１）　を制作していたころはですな。   無職でして。   や、正確には求職のため専門学校に通っていたんですが、自分で進路を決めたくせにイマイチ自分には向いてねえなあということが漠然とわかってしまい、学費は払っちまったわ、ブランクは出来ちまうわ、この先この方向性で働き続ける自信がねえわ、で袋小路に追い詰められていく感覚があったのですよ。 それでいわゆる、ムシャクシャしてやった。今は(ry というやつですな。 一気にあれを作り上げたわけです。 超逃げに走ったんですな。でも何かを作ることによって気持ちだけでも、昇華しようとしていたのかもしれないです。 それで、この記事　娘が生まれました　ですよ。 もう、腹をくくるっきゃないじゃないですか。 …しかし人生なにが起こるかわかりませんね。 この塗装ブースを作成していたころ、参考書の代わりに模型関連書を読みあさり、模型知識を短期集中的に詰め込んでいたおかげで、ホビーショップで働くことになったわけです。 前の職場を辞めた当時では、考えられなかったことです。 そして、さらにそれが高じて、模型部屋の作成が趣味と仕事の両立になり、発展し、ついには取材を受けるまでになったのです。 うっそだろう…？ モデルグラフィックスにあの時の塗装ブースが掲載される日が来るなんて。   と、いうわけで…。 あの頃からワタクシの模型環境は何回かの変遷を経て、大きく変化いたしました。 そして、未だに見に来て下さる方々もいらっしゃる、ということもあり、たくさん書きたいこともある、ということもあって、ここに復帰を宣言する次第であります。 いまだ引っ越し作業中でして、かなりお見苦しいサイトとはなっておりますけれども。 （３） /?p=71 /?p=71#respond Tue, 23 Oct 2012 15:00:00 +0000 /?p=71 第１回目はこちら。 前回は外の部分を作っていたが、今回は同時並行して作っている「部屋の中」部分をアップしてみようと思う。 窓枠、部屋の壁、出窓の床（？）部分などなど。 窓枠は１ミリプラ角棒と２ミリプラ角棒を駆使して作成。 出窓の部分はバルサ材。 部屋の壁は２ミリプラ板を使用。 出窓部分は、ちょっとオシャレにしたかったので、出っ張らせてみた。 その分、隙間埋めのプラ板を切り出したり、パテで盛ったりする作業が入るのがちょっと大変…。 裏はこんな感じ。 いやあ、まさに舞台裏。 補強用にプラ角棒を使っている。 んで、いち早く全貌がみたくて、早速”ガワ”をつけてしまった。 計画性の無い男である。 またまた”外”部分を作成中。 /?p=69#respond Sun, 14 Oct 2012 15:00:00 +0000 /?p=69 さて、そろそろ何か完成させねばなあ、と思っているのである。 色々と手は出しては見たものの、心底乗り切れていないときというのは、なかなか完成しないものであり、結局相次ぐ浮気の結果、未完成品が積み上がっていく日々だったのである。 そのときふと、作りたいモチーフが見つかったので、せっかくだからと、いつかは作ってみたかったシャドウボックスを作ってみようと思い立ったのであった。 シャドウボックスというものを初めて見たのは、おそらく諸兄のご多分に漏れず、古典的名著である『シェパード・ペインのダイオラマの作り方』（How to build Dioramas)である。 この書はテクニックに傾倒せず、考察法にまで及んでいる点において優れている。手先の技術のみ追っても、素人では完成した時に違和感をおぼえるものを作ってしまうことがある。作りたいテーマがあって、技術が付随すると良い作品が作れると思うので、教科書としては最高の１冊であろう。 ただ現在、市場に出回っている量が潤沢とは言えないので、プレミア価格になってしまっているのが残念なところである。 シャドウボックスについての項こそ無いが、最近の類書で最高だと個人的に思っているのは、吉岡和哉氏の『ダイオラマパーフェクション―戦車模型情景製作完全読本』である。 こちらは大型書店や専門店では、在庫が残っている事が多く、比較的手に入れやすいだろう。 閑話休題。 そもそもシャドウボックスというものは、全方位から見られるジオラマの特性を、わざと箱に入れ、固定した方向からのみ見られるようにし、ライティングなどによって劇的に見せる手法のことである。立体絵画的な面白みがあり、一度チャレンジしてみるのに良い手法だな、と思った。 と、いうわけで勢いにまかせて作り始めてしまったので、いきなりある程度形になったところから写真を載せているのである。 半年ほど空けてしまいました（だんだん期間が更新されるブログってコンセプトにしようかな） いやはや、サボりましたな。 その間は何をやっていたかというと、在宅勤務のほかに仕事を始めまして、そちらに慣れるために集中しておりましたのよ。 んで、仕事三昧であったがゆえに、ストレス解消を無意識で行なってしまったのでしょうな。 今月（先月）はたくさん模型を買ってしまいましたよ。 第１弾。 ガンプラ作りたくなって、「HG ジェスタ」 木と鉄を思う存分塗りたくなって、「マスターボックス West European Cart」 フィギュア単体をしっかり塗ってみたくなって、「Pizarro Stalingrado 1942」 急に水上機が塗りたくなって、「ファインモールド サボイア S.21」 第２弾。 これはプラモじゃなくて塗料ですね。 ウェザードウッドカラーがとても気に入ったので、フィギュアの塗装セットと、武器塗装セットを買いました。結構高いんだけど、色々試してみたくなってしまうタチでして。 第３弾。 静岡ホビーショーに行ってきた際に、買ってきたモノたちです。 ほとんどはタミヤ本社で行なっていたアウトレットセール品ですね。 第４弾。 そして最後に話題になった、「MEMGモデル メルカバ Mk.3D」とその資料本。 セールで安くなっていたので、石膏製の線路と、「モデルカステン Pak.41」を買ってしまいました。 いや～、買った買った。ここにきて、一気に積みプラモが増えました。 先月は一杯買ってしまったなあ・・・。と言った舌の根の乾かぬうちに、今月すでに 北海道に行った際に、３つも買ってしまったのですよ。 さ～て、どっからやっつけるべなあ・・・。 ]]> &p=144 0 娘が生まれました /?p=68 /?p=68#respond Mon, 05 Dec 2011 15:00:00 +0000 /?p=68 2日前の12月4日に、長女が誕生しました。 初めての子供です。 正直まだ、ブログでうまくまとめられるほど、気持ちの整理がついていません。 ま、記録、ということで。 今回立会い出産をしたのですが、夜中の3時に呼び出されて早朝5時に生まれました。 みんなに言わせると超安産みたいです。1時間半はあっという間でした。 生まれたときは漫画みたいに、スッと助産師さんが取り上げたので（ずっとカミさんの頭側にいました）、お～っという感想しかなく、なんだかあっけないくらいでした。 まだ人の親になったという実感こそありませんが、確実に気持ちに変化が出ているみたいで、戸惑っています。 第一に集中力がさらに落ちました。 何をやっていても手につきません。ええ。浮き足立っております。 第二に映画とか観てるときに、赤ん坊の出てくるシーン（特に戦争映画とか）なんかで、グッとくるようになりました。今まではなんともなかったのに。 やっぱ戦争はイケナイよ、うんうん、などと戦車のプラモを作りつつ、戦争映画を観たりするのです。 実は子供がなかなか出来ず、本当は養子縁組も考えていました。 特に実子にこだわりは無かったのです。 今回、幸いなことに子供を授かり、母子ともに無事であるということは、何物にも代えがたい喜びです。 そしてふと考えたこと。 ワタクシは現在、30代前半なわけですが、子供に物心が付いたとき、どうなるんだろうと想像しています。 今はインターネットがあることが当たり前な世代、いわゆるデジタルネイティブが生まれてきています。 その子が何らかの偶然によって、父親が書いたブログを発見することだってあるはずです。 例えばそれが20代や30代になったときかもしれません。 自分の父親が同じ年のときには、どういうことを考えていたのだろう、何をしていたのだろうということがわかる世代なのですね。これは大変興味深い。 ましてや、自分が生まれてきた日に、何を考え、どういう思いを抱いていたのだろう 自分が子供を授かったときに、どういう心持ちになるのだろうか、ということが追体験出来るわけです。 そして、男親がどういう心境なのかも。 思えば、ワタクシがああ、大人になっていくんだなあ、と思った瞬間というのは、甲子園球児の歳を上回ったときでしたが、そういう諸々の心境というものが、こうしてログになって残っていく、ということは大変興味深いことですね。 自分らの親の世代というのは、写真、そしてビデオの世代なわけで、徐々に記録に残すということが容易になっていった世代なわけですが、我々の世代ということになると、もう半デジタルネイティブと言ったところでしょうか。ブログやSNSのおかげで、さらに記録に残すことが容易になりました。 こうして自分が親になったのだ、ということをシミジミと、感慨深い・・・などと呟くことと共に、 無駄に、 （ ・∀・）／ ＜ 早く決めろ決めろ、と多方面より掃射されているわけなんですけど、正直女の子の名前を真剣に考えたことなどありません。 男なら、まだ色々と考えようもあるのですが、女の子となると・・・。 女の子っぽい戦車の名前とかしか浮かびません。 チハとか。 間違いなくアダ名はチハたんですね。 『名前を考えるための参考書』なぞを紐解いてみますと、最近はグローバルに活躍出来るように外国人にも呼びやすい名前にしましょうなどと、スイー◯（笑）なことが書いてありますが、これならOKです。世界に誇れる中戦車ですから。 ああ、こんなことになるのならネカマでもやっとけば良かった！何事も経験ですね。 2011 15:00:00 +0000 /?p=67 やあ。 久しぶりに完成品の掲載ですよ。 モデル・グラフィックス誌が催した、GMサミットに応募するために、MG（マスターグレード）のジム・カスタムを作っていたんですよ。 こいつぁ、実は大学時代に大阪の模型屋さんで買ったものでして、実質10年放置してあったプラモなんですよ！ いわゆる積みプラの一つですな！ んで、こういう機会だし、今作らずにいつ作るんだ！ってことでやってみたんす。 完成してるから、写真は少なめ。 これは下塗りの模様。 ワタクシ的定番、Mr.カラー：マホガニー、艦底色、つや消しブラックの混色したもの。 んで、今回は挑戦ってことで、本塗装をハンブロールエナメルでやることにしました。 テーマは「M1 エイブラムス」。ええ。アメリカの主力戦車ですね。あのカラーリングを目指しますよ。 ジム・カスタムが登場する、本編DVD 0083の舞台は最初オーストラリアですねえ。そのあとアフリカに行きますねえ。 ・・・ってどっちもエイブラムス活躍してなくね？ 今になって気がついた。まあ、いいんですよ。ジム・カスタムは陸戦型じゃないですか。 やっぱモビルスーツですし、そりゃあ、高価なもんですよ。しかもガンダムアレックスベースの量産機ですよ。やっぱ、局所的にしか配備されてない感じがするし、エイブラムス的解釈でもよくね？ってことでひとつ。 で、砂漠の嵐にさらされた感じを出したかったんで、今回退色表現にもチャレンジしましたヨ。 まずはマスキング地獄に耐えるのだ。 メインフレームは大好きなメタルカラー。これはアイアン。 マスキングして、バーニア部分はMr.カラー：モンザレッドとRLM23 レッドの混色。 メインカメラは、クリアーパーツを通しても目立つようにメタルカラー：ステンレスでドライブラシ。 で、こんな感じになりました。 全体像。 ハンブロールエナメル24番、94番を１：４で混色。 その後、121番を若干混ぜてオーバーコートで退色を表現（写真じゃわかりませんね）。 シールドだけは、強めに退色表現を入れてみた。 もう、いろんな塗料の実験をしてみましたよ。 ウォッシングとか、汚し塗装にAK InteractiveのDust Effectとか、Fuel Stainsなどを使用してみました。 ただ、今回投稿するのはモデルグラフィックスです。 最近のガンプラの傾向として、綺麗目な仕上がりが目立ちます。 カーモデルのような感じといったところかな。でも、ワタクシはAFVとかマシーネンが好きなモデラーですので、汚し塗装がしたいわけですよ。 で、折衷案として、軽く汚し、チッピングも控えめにとしたのでした。 背面。 ガンプラを作っていて、一番作るのが好きな部分はバーニアだったりします。 バーニア部はダークアイアンとかで3重塗装くらいしてますｗ 煤表現はまだまだっすな。 改造はアキレス腱部分にパイピングを施しました。 あと、バックパック左上にアンテナを追加。真鍮線にメタルプライマーを塗布して、ダークアイアンで塗装。径の合うパイプで基部を作成。 退色表現は少しのっぺりしてしまったな。 少しヤスって見るのもいいかもしれない。 一番気に入っているカット。 ちゃんとメインカメラ部のドライブラシの効果が出たようです。 今回、設定の色設定に準じてみようと思って、コクピット部は当初赤く塗ったのだけど、おもちゃっぽくなってしまったので、薄～くつや消しブラックを塗り重ねてあります。よく見ると赤みが残るように。武器に関しては、ダークアイアンの上から、クリアーオレンジやらクリアーブルーを薄く塗り重ねて経年変化を出しました。 うーん、今回初めて模型雑誌に投稿してみたのだが、これはいいっすな。 何がいいかというと、まずは完成する！ってこと。 締め切りがあるので、何はともあれ確実に完成するｗ これは大きいですよ！ で、課題も見つかりますな。 まず、前回ラプターのときも思ったのだけど、写真がダメ過ぎる。 ホコリがばっちり写っちゃってるし、モデルグラフィックスの全体講評にあったんですが、ライティングが悪いということです。 確かにうちにはまともな光源がないので、上からスタンドライト（ハロゲン）で照らし（白熱灯色に近い）前からiPhoneのライトで（白色LEDで照らすという環境。あー、やっぱり今度こそフォトラ貯金をすべきかな～・・・。 嬉しいことに、それなりの大きさで写真が載ったのですが、やっぱり写真が暗い！これうまく撮れたらだいぶ見栄えが変わるかもな～。 というわけで、課題を多く残しつつも完成しました！ ようやく終わって、メタルカラー＜アイアン＞を吹き、磨いた後、アクリルカラーのラスト（さび）をごく弱い圧でかぶせるように吹きました。 マスキングを剥がすとこんなかんじ。 んで、同じように塗装した線路部分（上面だけマスキング）を、差し込んで行きます。 またまたトランペッターの罠が・・・。 枕木と敷石の高さがデコボコだったので、そのままでは線路を取り付けることが出来ず、リューターで敷石を削ることに。 現在、トランペッター 1/35 ドイツ鉄道公社 蒸気機関車 BR86を作っているわけなんですが、 こんなの  正直、興味ないわけです。 パーツ数は多く、ディテールにもそれほど文句はないのですが、如何せん、この分野の興味自体が無いのと、目立ちまくりのピン跡やパーツの隙間にはうんざり状態です。 まあ、ワタクシの技量不足もあるので、一応フォローしておきますと、基礎工作力があって接着する前にしっかりパーツのすり合わせをやる人にとっては、ディテールアップがしやすく良キットと言えるのかもしれません（弱気）。初心者にはオススメしない。   さて、このキットは鉄道模型ですので、線路と台座が付属しております。 説明書には、ここはrepairとか、ここはcutなどと、もう〜っな指示が出たりしてますが、落ち着いて進めていきます。 台座も結構デコボコで、プラ板裏打ちやパテ盛り補修が必要です。 で、とりあえず完成したので、塗装に入ります。 まずは、枠を塗りました。 が、納得が行かない仕上がりなので、ひとまず放置です。 地面の塗装です。 Mr.カラーのマホガニーと艦底色（少々）と、ホワイトを混色してランダムに吹きました。 次にファレホアクリルのChalk WhiteとBasic Brownを混色したもので、ドライブラシ。 ここからいよいよライフカラーです。 まずはひと通り試し塗りしたかったので、Cold Light Shade、Cold Base Color、Warm Base Colorと塗ってみました。今考えると、Cold 2011 04:36:59 +0000 /?p=147 昨日、イエローサブマリン　秋葉原スケールショップで行われたイベント、「グレナディアモデル　第２回　フィギュア塗装実演講座」に行ってきましたよ。 帝國海軍上海特別陸戦隊　戦車兵＆陸戦隊員セット（第2次上海事変）2体セットの発売イベントも兼ねて、原型師の山口氏が服塗装の実演をやってくれたのでした。 山口氏の塗装法は、ハンブロールエナメルでの塗り重ねで、基本色×３　シャドー　ハイライト　小物という順番での塗装でした。 食いつきで見てる人がワタクシ含め数人だったので、自由に質問出来て楽しいイベントでした。 んで、結局そのときに話に出た、「木の部分の塗り方」つながりで、こんな塗料セットを買ってきたのでした。 こちらはイタリアのライフカラーというメーカーのアクリル系塗料です。 初めて見ました。 てか、大手通販では見かけません（汗 （最近、いろいろなサイトで扱うようになりました） うちに帰ってから、ちょっと調べて見たんですが、イタリアメーカーだけあって、イタリア戦車色セットとか、イタリア軍装色セットとか、マイナーな塗料セットを出してるんですね。 しかし、なにげにこのメーカーはフェデラルスタンダードカラーに準拠しているので、資料的な価値もありそうです。 それで今回、有りそうで無かった木の部分を塗る塗料セットを店員さんに紹介されてしまったので、買ってきたのでした。 というのも、現在親父へのプレゼント用に作りたくも無い機関車の模型を作っているからなんです。 機関車模型ということで、当然のことながら線路の枕木を塗らなくてはならないわけで、どうしようかな～と思っていたところでした。 正直作っていて苦痛です・・・。 元々興味の無いジャンルな上、初めて作るサイバーホビー製…。 隙間は酷いわ、ピン後が目立つところに出来まくりだわ、説明書は間違いだらけだわ、ってところで、もうかれこれ２年がかりで作ってます。 やっぱタミヤとかバンダイはすげえよｗ まあ、模型作りがうまくなるためだっ・・・。これも経験だっ・・・と思いながら作ってます。 The best-selling solo artist gave thousands of fans a chance to see him with a four-show stop in Orlando.   His Saturday afternoon show started the Garth filled weekend on a high-note, lasting nearly two and a half hours. Even though, Garth has been away from Central Florida for 18 years, his fans held no grudges and welcomed him back with loud voices and erupting applause after each song. He told concert go-ers he remembered playing at the Strawberry Festival in Plant City and at The Barn in Sanford many years ago, and by the sound of the crowd's response, his Central Florida fans remembered that too. There was no shortage of singing and shouting throughout the duration of the show. Concert go-ers knew every word to the songs and tried to keep up with his howling, powerful voice as he sang his biggest hits.   “You’ve treated each song like it was your favorite,” Garth told the crowd and indeed, they did. Scotty McCreery and Bailey Callahan attracted nearly 1000 music fans at the Ovideo Amphitheater this past weekend.   On Saturday night, the two artists claimed the roles as the first performers at the brand-new amphitheater.   Before Scotty began his set, 16-year-old Bailey Callahan opened for him with original songs and covers of hits by Shania Twain and Bruno Mars.   Once Scotty took the stage, his deep, southern voice was enough for the crowd to smile and sing along.   Stretching his arms apart, Scotty belted out his first single "I Love You This Big" and spoke about how he can't forget where he came from. That same song was what he sang on his finale performance of American Idol.   He switched gears, singing newer hits like "Southern Belle" and "Blue Jean Baby".   Nearing the end of his set, he had the entire crowd enjoying throwback tunes by Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard. Despite the warm weather, nearly 250 people came out to support local law enforcement for the first annual BBQ 4 The Blue this past weekend.   “One thing I have noticed lately is a lot of people are going out of their way to say thank you. The winner will get a free trip to Nashville to work with songwriter Johnny Bulford. Local musicans have a chance to compete in this year's Songwriter Rounds and a shot at winning a co-write session with LOCKHART's Johnny Bulford.   In addition to getting a co-write session with songwriter Johnny Bulford, the winner also gets a roundtrip flight from Orlando to Nashville, and hotel and transportation accomdations to co-write with the man who played a part in writing Lee Brice's "A Woman Like You" and Chris Young's "Flashlight".   To enter, fill out the form on 1031thewolforlando.com/pages/songwriter-rounds-2016. Holcomb ended up winning the competition last year and getting to co-write with Bridgette Tatum, who co-wrote Jason Aldean's hit song "She's Country" in 2009.   "She was one of the most fun songwriters I have had the pleasure of writing with. The intensity she has in the writing room is incredible so it takes a lot of energy trying to keep up with her," Holcomb said. "It’s really great to have that connection and network with her from this experience."       Nearly a year after his participation in the competition, Holcomb is releasing a self-written album in November.   "I would say to anyone who has the drive and passion for writing, just believe in it and put yourselves out there. Getting out of that comfort zone is important," Holcomb said. "Just having that faith in your own writing is important. You can surprise yourself." ]]>
