There she was emily the girl I had fallen for when i was young. some say ou never know what real love is until you are married, well I can say it isnt true. I loved emily and would always love her. Now emily was 5 years older then me, but I had helped her with a ex boyfriend problem in the past, she was forever grateful and said one day she would repay me. hell just seeing her on my 13th birthday was enough, but I guess to her it wasnt enough. I have had kissed a girl before but I was still a virgin and didnt really think about losing it till later, but I did what any other teenager would do, I masterbated 1-2 times a day, My parents went outta town on business and left my brother in charge, well his girlfriend came over and they went out to eat, Emily stayed of coarse, she was so beautiful, she was half american half asian, 5’2 short brown hair, 34c cup breast and slender thighs, she was any mans wet dreams, No way in hell a kid like me would ever have a chance toget with her, i was young, well time went on we sat alsancak escort eat some cake and watched a few movies when she looked over at me and asked me something I will never forget. “do you love me?” those words never left my mind, my only responce was, “Ya emily with all my heart. She smiled and told me she wanted to do something she been waiting on and lend over to kiss me. as i kissed her back I looked at her in shock. What was that for emily? she said she’d wanted to do that when she came inside the house but was nervous.. I leaned in to kiss her this time, only we didnt stop, i slid my tounge into her mouth and hers into mine as we kissed for what felt like the longest time. “wow you are a good kisser” she said, bet all the girls are after you at school. Not really, I was sorta a out cast at school didnt care to be noticed or anything. I smiled a simple smile and replyed “I guess i mean i dont really pay attention” she only laughed and said and cuddled next to me, I asked her what was so funny and her responce was quite intresting. ” haha looks like someone is happy to see me” I looked down and instantly went red in the face…uhh umm..Im sorry” are the only words to come out of my mouth,, I started to move away when she bornova escort grabbed me and told me not to go.. she asked me” are yopu still a virgin?” I nodded my head and blushed. she told me something that really made me blush,” hehe well then mr. teenager would you like to get lucky tonight?” I blushed so hard and lost all speech, I only nodded and smiled lightly. she began to rub on my leg slowly and got to my pants and unbuttoned them, I was sorta nervous never have done it, she simply told me to relax, it was kinda hard when you have a beautiful girl whom you loved about to take your virginity. I relaxed as much as i could, then she reached into my boxers and pulled out my dick, she was sorta amazed how fast I was deveopled,” wow your pretty big for 13, of coarse i didnt think so 6 inches was a normal size i thought for 13, well she slowly started to stoke it and kiss me at the same time.. i kissed her back and moaned lightly, she giggled and went down to it and started swriling her tounge on the head of my shaft, i moans more and looked down at her, she smiled and took the whole thing into her mouth and began to slowly suck on it while twriling her tounge.. I gasped as the pleasure was unbarable, she kept sucking on it slowly then gaziemir escort faster and took her hand on the bottom part stroking it, it didnt take long before I told her I was gonna cum, but she kept sucking on it, I cam hard into her mouth and she swallowed it all.. it felt so good, she then came up and kissed me on the neck and told me to undress her, I slowly undressed her and started sucking on her nipples, as if i was a pro, she seemed to like it from the moans she let out, I took of her skirt and panties and she climbed on top of me slowly sliding her wet hot feeling pussy onto my already hard again shaft, I stoped her and asked if I needed a condom, but she was on the pill so she told me no, I entered her and she gasped lightly, kissing on my neck stil i grabed her by the sides and slowly started to press my dick inside her, she moaned lightly and told me to go faster, i did as i was told and moved faster into her, “harder!!!” she said i grabed her by the ass cheeks and lifted her going harder and faster inside her. “mmm you feel so good inside me dont stop, I pressed harder thrusting my self in her, oh baby please more..mmm” I kept going as hard and fast as i could as she dug her nails into my back. after a hour, I finally came inside her…she kissed me and we layed on the couch.. it was the greatest night ever..but we havent seen each other since then.. i still think of that night on my birthdays.. it was a night you couldnt forget… the night my first love took my virginty… 13th birthday yazısı ilk önce 7ty.club üzerinde ortaya çıktı. 13th-birthday.html/feed 0 Morning Bells (Part Three: The Asian girl) morning-bells-part-three-the-asian-girl.html morning-bells-part-three-the-asian-girl.html#respond Mon, 20 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0000 morning-bells-part-three-the-asian-girl.html I woke up without the assistance of an alarm with the faint whistle of my phone going off telling me I had a text. I bounded up smiling hard it must be Brooke, glancing down I looked at the messages there was one from her and two from Josh. Brooke: Morning stud! I barely slept last night must be new school jitters. I almost forgot that she was new to the area and probably didn’t know anyone at school, but everyone was going to be giving her attention thank god I had already planted my feet in her life and was her boyfriend. I did wonder though she agreed to go out with me pretty quickly I hope she actually liked me and wasn’t just going out with me because she didn’t know anyone. Me: You too babe, I’m going to hop in the shower I’ll text you after. I continued to read my messages both were from last night about an hour after he had dropped me off I was basically comatose at that point. Josh: Ashley called me last night man… Josh: She started to talk super dirty to me man. Do you think she’s just a slut or that she really likes me for some reason I mean we talked a while before the cop came and ruined our fun, but I don’t know man! Me: I’ll think about it and talk to you at school over lunch bro k? I went over to my computer and checked my messages on Facebook. I didn’t really use it that much since I thought it was another even gayer version of Myspace, but everyone used it I didn’t want to feel left out. I had one message from a day ago from Christi Lu : Hey dude, it’s been a while since we hung out and I just got a new piercing I know you will love [Image] (It was a close up of her mouth open big plump lips that drew attention to themselves all on their own and her toungue was sticking out with a little pick ball in the middle showing off her piercing.) I want to hang out after school today that should be fine right my parents won’t be home either hmu!Christi was Korean with short jet black hair she had really plump lips and a pretty face with green eyes. She was about five foot four without the assistance of heels, but she almost always wore them anyways. Christi had an ass though that guys dream about nice and fat, but totally toned and delicious. She had pretty small tits, but they were firm and looked good on her tight gymnast body. We fucked around more than a few times last year, but it had been a few months since I even heard from her I thought she was done with me. I mean we never had sex and she never introduced me to her parents or anything it was just a casual kind of thing to her. The most we ever did was orally play with each other she loved giving long sloppy blowjobs, but insisted that I eat her out first which I didn’t mind at all she actually smelled good and there was a sweet taste to her pussy. She’s the only girl I’ve ever actually gone down on I had fingered a couple other girls and when I smelled my finger later the fishy odor most of the time, it was too much to bare an there was no way I was putting my face down there. Christi would never let me fuck her I presumed and was happy with just fooling around, which I wasn’t going to complain about. Christi was the commanding type that knew she looked good and had power over guys, but she wasn’t exactly slutty or anything she just liked the attention. She usually dressed provocatively enough to make guys turn their heads as she sauntered down the hallways at school being more of a tease then anything I still don’t know why I was lucky enough to have even got to see her naked let alone fool around with her. I even saw her dress up like one of those anime cartoons a few times, which I admit even I would drool at trying not to get caught admiring. I started contemplating though I just started a relationship with Brooke, was I really willing to cheat on her already I really liked her and I thought there was something special growing between us. I didn’t reply to Christi I was just going to think it over at school and maybe talk to Josh about it, but he might end up telling Ashley I was going to have to think about this at school. I took a shower and headed down stairs. No one was in the kitchen except for my brother Alex who grunted at me as I entered the room saying “It’s so early who the fuck thought there should be a seven a.m.? I didn’t even know there was a seven a.m.!” I noticed his family guy reference and chuckled a little bit. “Where’s mom and dad?” I said “They left a note on the fridge that they will be home sometime late tonight and left some money for dinner!” Alex mumbled and pointed at it before walking out to go catch the bus. I scanned over the note this was getting more regular them going to the casino seemed to be happening every other week now, but that might turn out to be a good thing now that I had a girlfriend, but I would have to get my younger brother occupied with something else so I could have the house to myself. I opened the fridge after eating my breakfast and looked through my assorted collection of colognes, which I have about seventy and sprayed a summer citrusy pair of them on me. If you’re wondering why I kept them in the fridge I read in a GQ that it keeps them from the heat which can destroy the fragrance. What was I going to do about Christi though I knew I would bump into her at school, I just hoped I would have enough time to think about it before I said anything to her. I really did like Brooke, but I’ve never had a girl give me a blowjob like Christi did before she would spit on your cock and then gag on it a little letting the gooey saliva dribble off of her bottom lip as she slowly pulled away streaks of saliva just hanging from her mouth to my cock before slowly making love to it. She even loved playing with your cum after you shot into her mouth and would make little cooing noises as she licked it off her fingers and swallowed it whole. The thoughts just swam in my head and she had a tongue piercing now I wonder what that felt like! I pulled out my phone and sent Brooke a text. Me: hey honey you ready to get picked up A couple of minutes later… Brooke: well what do you think? [Image sent] She had her hair all crimped up it looked wavy and hot. She was wearing a tight fitting shirt that said BEBE in sparkly letter on it and it showed off her perfectly flat stomach, which was sporting one little silver ring with a pink stone at the end of it drawing attention to her navel. The thing that puzzled me was that her eyes were blue now, she must have been wearing contacts. Me: Hot stuff I’m on my way! Brooke: hold your horses I still have figure out what to put on the bottom half of my body Me: Okay ill leave in like ten minutes then Brooke: someone’s in a hurry to see me Me: didim escort nah I just don’t want to be late for school. Brooke: Awe I thought you were excited to see me ;( Me: you know I can’t wait to see you sweet cheeks don’t pout 😛 Brooke: you mean these sweet cheeks [Image sent] She had blue booty shorts on that had caught looking with a Chicago Cubs logo and they were down just a little bit, so you could see the crack of her ass. Me: you just made extra points with me being a Cubs fan! To be honest I was I wanted to kiss her and hold her again forget about school I just wanted to spend time with her, but I was feeling horrible about having thought of Christi lathering up my cock with her mouth juices all morning. I wondered if she was the type of girl that would want to be all public about our relationship when we got to school or not, well only one way to find out. I got to Brooke’s house and rang the door bell even though the inside door was already open and I could see her mom in the kitchen. I was actually kind of worried that her dad was going to come to the door I wasn’t ready to meet him yet he looked like he could be really scary, if he wanted to be. Brooke’s mom walked over to the door opening it and said “You must be Tommy I’ve heard so much about you Brooke wouldn’t shut up this morning. I’m Bethany Axley nice to meet you.” I smiled at her mom as I proffered my hand to shake hers. She just put her arms around me she must be a hugger pulling me closer to her then I expected and pressed her large breasts against me before letting go. My cock jumped a little bit I don’t think she noticed. She was a beautiful woman and was especially bubbly in the morning chirping along “Well come in Brooke should be down in a minute.” She was wearing a chiffon dress that hugged her curves well and her long golden blonde hair shimmered in the morning light. I was still wiping my eyes not being a morning person at all. I sat on the couch next to a grand piano and her mother brought out some tea placing it in front of me giving me a once over before disappearing into the kitchen. I was surprised I didn’t hear her father or get confronted with a nice to meet you if you hurt my daughter you won’t have balls any more speech. I knew I would be like that especially, if I had a daughter that looked like Brooke. I looked at the pictures all around and I noticed that he wasn’t in any of them it was just Brooke and her mom in every last one, which they had a great deal of. This made me curious did Brooke’s father not live with them and who was it that I saw at the church? I would have to ask her about it later, but I thought better of it she would probably tell me about such things when she was ready and it was best not to pry. Brooke came down the stairs and I almost dropped the tea in my lap. She looked smoking hot not that she didn’t always look good, but you knew the difference between hot and pretty she was hot today. Her looks desired the attention she was getting from me right now without looking overly slutty. She had tiny jean short shorts on that hugged her hips and let her butt poke out just a little bit. She was sticking out her chest and her breasts bounced as she walked down the stairs they lifted her shirt up revealing even more of her belly then before and she jumped over to me kissing me on cheek. “Ready to go?” She asked. I was more then ready I giving her a playful slap on the rear watching her booty shake just enough to get me aroused even more. She giggled and stuck out her tongue all cute and said “Down boy!” Her mom yelled from the kitchen “Go to school you two or your going to be late!” We drove to school she held my hand in the car the whole ride there. I called Josh and told him to meet us in the café before the bell rang for the first class. Brooke was acting like a lost little puppy when we got inside the school getting more than a few looks from guys as we walked inside the school she was still holding my hand. Ashley ran up with little blue ribbons in her hair dressed very conservatively compared to yesterday. She was wearing a plain purple sundress her arm stuck out pulling Brooke with her into the bathroom as they started girl talk chatting before saying over her shoulder, “Later gators!” I noticed Josh right behind her looking tired and confused. Josh spoke in a grumbly tired voice, “Man that chick wanted to talk to me on the phone all night and this morning she was just all chipper and everything she doesn’t sleep I swear I know I only got a couple of hours of sleep myself. Your girl looked pretty smoking hot today though I must admit!” Maybe I had Ashley pegged wrongly as a slut, but who knows it was only day two. Josh gestured me to follow him into the café leaving the girls behind I read his t-shirt, which said : “want to know how to keep an idiot busy? (read other side).”It said the same thing on both sides if you don’t get it the shirt was ment for you! He was beginning to get a little more animated as more life came into his voice, “Dude Ash is so hot man I don’t want to fuck it up, but I feel like she doesn’t want us to be serious or anything along those lines. At first I just thought she was kind of a slut but when I picked her up from her house this morning she acted like nothing happened yesterday and just gave me a hug when I went in for a kiss.” I quickly spoke without thinking, “I don’t think you have anything to worry about she seems to be into you man I mean she had you pick her up and talked to you most of the night maybe she is just feeling you out to see what type of guy you are, but man women have always been a mystery to me. Don’t worry though man I mean she did suck you off last night.” He coughed at that looking around to see if anyone was listening in before replying, “Yeah, you’re right man I guess I don’t have anything to worry about.” The bell rang time to go to gym class. What a particularly shitty way to start the day, but at least it would wake me up hopefully I didn’t sweat a lot and have to go through the rest of the day smelling bad. Brooke texted me before I walked to gym class the announcements already started playing on the T.V. Brooke: Sowwies I didn’t kiss you before we disappeared Ashley wanted to talk to me about something private. This school is so huge I’m super lost could you help me find my class? Me: Sure! But make sure that the teachers don’t catch you on your phone or you’ll lose it for sure. Where are you trying to go? Brooke: The gym how do I get there? I almost jumped what seriously I was going to be in gym class with her! I texted her a couple more times and explained buca escort how to get to where I was and waited in the hall for her. She finally got there I saw her looking around still like a lost puppy. I yelled down the hall wavying, “over here babe!” She looked up from her class schedule and smiled and rushed over to me giving me a big hug before saying “Thanks for helping me I hope your not far from your own class. So where do I go from here?” I pointed down the hallway where the girls locker room was and said, “walk all the way down the hall and you’ll enter the gym.” She kissed me hard and I grabbed her arm and walked her to the gym. She just looked up at me confused. Brooke looked up at me and sounded kind of worried, “aren’t you going to be late for your own class? Shouldn’t you get going I can get there Tommy!” I just smiled without saying anything and kept walking with her hand in mine. I walked over to the bleachers and plopped myself down Brooke followed still looking confused, so I whispered over to her, “I’m in this class too. By the way you look really hot with those blue contacts, but I think your beautiful hazelnut eyes are better.” She just started glowing before noticing that Mr. Shaffer was giving us both looks, “You two are late!” He said loud enough for about all hundred students to hear. I piped up “She didn’t know where the gym was I was just helping her find it she’s a new student.” He didn’t really seem to care waving us to sit down his eyes following Brooke’s ass for a moment before looking back up to the TV announcements. I heard someone make a cat call whistle from the back, I spun around and saw Bob Bilken dressed differently then his normal t-shirt and jeans. He had on a blue polo shirt and a white blazer jacket his hair slicked back like an Italian. He was looking down at us and hungrily eye fucking Brooke noticeably she flushed red a little bit his gaze never leaving her. I whispered to her, “that’s Officer pig fucker’s kid hon.” He didn’t hear me and I don’t think she did either still looking at each other, but I could tell he didn’t like me talking to her let alone sitting next to her. The morning announcements finished on the TV I never understood how people could be so damn chipper when it was so early and on a Monday, but I guess that’s why Starbucks is so rich. Bob had stopped looking over at us and was already sitting next to his cronies laughing about something. Mr. Shaffer basically spent the whole period talking about what this class would be about and hold long we had to get changed before and after class. He also mentioned what was acceptable to wear and that we would be using the new Olympic sized swimming pool this year during class so we should be prepared to have clothes for that as well. It was a pretty boring lecture that even he didn’t seem to care about he let us go about ten minutes before the bell rang. I walked with Brooke showing her around the school for a while, so she wouldn’t be so lost. We shared each other schedules I actually had two more classes with her art and dance class, surprisingly enough since she was a sophomore while I was a Junior. Just then I saw Christi opening her locker wearing a very short plaid skirt and black tank top with red high heels her hair in pig tails with little green bows. She was obviously trying to draw as much attention to herself sucking on a lollipop just adding to that, which just made my mind swim into thoughts of that lollipop being my cock. Brooke was looking at her too I noticed it was hard not to notice her I mean she was asking for attention! I quickly grabbed Brookes arm looked in both directions of the hall way no one else was around from the looks of it, so I pulled her into the boys bathroom this hallway didn’t get a lot of traffic anyways there only being a couple of lockers and one tiny bathroom. I slammed the door and locked it I pushed her up against the door. Brooke’s mouth flung open as if in shock, “Wha.. Wha.. are you doing?” she shuddered. I started to kiss and suck on her neck making her giggle a little bit and she just grabbed my ass clentching it pretty hard with her manicured nails slightly pricking me, but it felt really good. She kissed me back and stuck her tongue in my mouth swirling it around before putting her hand out and pushing me away. “What if we get caught!” She said. I just looked at her I wanted her so badly right now, but I really didn’t care if we got caught plus this bathroom almost nobody ever used since it was far away from anything. “We won’t.” I said in a promising voice and just flashed my eyes at her. She seemed to think about it for a minute and then started kissing me again. I grabbed her ass and squeezed it for the first time, oh my God if I thought that her butt had looked nice it felt even better cupped in my hand. I put both my hands on the door as I pushed her with my body up against it her delicate hands feeling my chest slightly pinching one of my nipples as I kissed her until she pushed me away for a moment. “Are you serious about me Tommy?” She said breaking the passion with a serious tone in her voice. Without thinking I just quickly replied “Of course you’ve got to be the most beautiful girl I’ve ever met and there’s something about you that makes me feel like I can just be myself when I’m with you.” My mind then thought about Christi for a minute, but I pushed the thought out of my mind I had something real it wasn’t just a fling with this girl I could have something real here. She seemed to think about it for a minute before looking at me with questioning eyes and asking “Are you sure I don’t just want to be another girl you hook up with I really like you. I mean you’re always sweet and you didn’t try anything with me last night even though I probably would have let you, so I feel like you’re a really good guy.” I just nodded my head as she read the look in my eyes with satisfaction and kissed me deeply her finger nails teasingly scratching me all the way down my chest before looping two fingers under my belt buckle. She just innocently looked up at me and batted her eyes as she undid my buckle putting another finger on my lips before I could say anything. Confused and shocked at the same time my eyes went wide looking directly into her big blue eyes. She continued to undo my belt buckle and slowly unzipped my pants as they fell to the floor. Her mouth dropped open quickly like she was about to say something when she saw me standing there pants around my ankles. I was already hard with anticipation of whatever was going to happen and you could clearly see the bulge making my DKNY boxer briefs just looking like çeşme escort they were going to rip from being stretched like they were. I’m not trying to be cocky or anything sorry about the pun, but I was pretty happy about my size I’ve got an Italian sausage down there that’s thick and long and I was proud of it. “Wow uh that’s… BIG!” She winked her eye at me before continuing. Using her nails to fondle my junk through the boxers and lightly scratched my nuts. Brooke delicately ran her finger nails under the waist band of my boxers with one hand and the other hand slightly slowly massaging my balls before putting both hands under the waist band and pulling them towards her to get a full view of my goods. My heart was racing like crazy and my breathing had become a little labored the blood rushing like open flood gates to my groin. She bent down and got on her knees and licked kissed my stomach trailing her tongue down the outside of my boxers. This was so freaking hot I swear I must have been dreaming. She parted her mouth and started sucking on the head of my cock through the boxer shorts gently nibbling a little bit and pulling the boxers with her teeth. She started to get my boxers really wet with all the saliva that was coming out of her mouth. I swear I felt my boxers starting to rip a little bit, but I didn’t care. Just then it felt like the moisture of her tongue was actually touching naked skin letting the head of my cock pokeing through a hole that was starting to form and Brooke just ripped at the hole with her teeth letting the head of my cock poke out fully and you could tell it was throbbing like crazy because it looked like it was being choked out by the material around it. “Ooooh… !” She cooed making her hungrily lick and suck at it making it throb like crazy now I thought my boxer shorts were literally going to rip all the way and make my cock spring out of them. Her hands ran there way up the back of my thighs to my ass gripping it hard and pulling me closer to her as her tongue just teased the shit out of my cock head and she kept nibbling at my boxers and pulling it with her teeth. A small amount of pre cum came out which she lapped up quickly and slowly sucked the head so more and more of my dick was poking through, but it was not like any blowjob I’ve ever head it felt like my dick was being strangled by my underwear and teased with pleasure at the same time by her mouth. *BLING BLONG DING DO DOO DA DEE DOO*! I almost jumped and saw a look of terror enter Brookes eyes. Holy shit the bell and people were getting out of classes now what the fuck! Brooke quickly detaching herself from my dick letting a single strand of saliva that was still on the head of my dick hang from her mouth before dropping on to her shirt. She just paused there for a moment and it was probably about the hottest thing I have ever seen looking at her face gasping open with shock and a long dribble of saliva slowly dangling from it connected to my dick. I would have to keep a mental self shot of this forever and I smiled at her not even caring about the bell for the minute. She got up wiping the saliva from her mouth and shirt as I got my pants on with my cock still poking out of the hole there was nothing I could do about that, but we had to get out of here before people started filling the hallway. I went first checking to see if anyone was there and trying to make myself into some type of barrier so that no one would see her leave. No one was in the hall way except for Christi still at her locker, but she must have heard me open the door because she was looking right at me with an eyebrow cocked. Her eyes directed at my pants noticing that I was pitching a tent I put my backpack in front of me I was going to have to get that to go away somehow or everyone would see. Brooke came out after me and we both just went up the staircase at the end of the hall I was not going to even bother trying to deal with Christi the cat was out of the bag though and I could feel her eyes following us until we started up the stairs. We were briskly walking up the stairs as she was grasping my hand for dear life. “Did anyone see us Tommy? That was so close!” Brooke said. I didn’t reply I just kept making my way up the stairs towards the floor my class was on. “I don’t know honey I don’t think anyone saw thought I think we are alright by the way that was amazing.” I said. She just smiled at me and said, “Yeah that was fun to bad we didn’t have more time I’ve never done anything that spontaneous before. It was fun though almost getting caught.” She grazed the bulge in my pants for a moment and then continued, “We are going to have to do something about that after school.” I just grinned ear to ear and tried to adjust my shit, so that it wasn’t noticeable that I had a hard on, which was pretty useless since my dick was caught in the hole not wanting to be moved. Seconds later we both heard a loud *BOOM* come from one of the class rooms in the science hall and then the fire alarm went off. This was actually kind of good it would mean I would have time to compose myself. We both went back down stairs and everyone seemed to be running to go outside teachers shouting for everyone to get in order and not push each other to get through the doors. We made it outside a sea of people murmuring about what could have possibly happened, I heard a few people saying there was a gas leak in the biology room that created an explosion. Fire trucks immediately filled the parking lot with ambulances as paramedics and firefighters ran into the school. I looked around the crowd trying to find Josh and noticed that Bob had his arm around Ashley and was talking to her excitedly. I just pinched Brooke and pointed to where Ashley and Bob were and she just made this look that could spit daggers. Brooke just looked at me and said, “Well that’s Ashley for you she’s really more of a free spirit type I’ve never actually seen her have a boyfriend I think she just really enjoys the attention, but I do kind of feel bad for Josh it really seemed like he was into her.” After about ten minutes we heard the dean on one of those loud air horns start to speak loudly, “School is done for the day there was a small explosion in the chemistry hall and a couple people were injured the buses will be arriving shortly to take you home, if you parked in the parking lot the police will be here shortly to direct you how to get out since the other half of the parking lot is filled with emergency vehicles. We saw a couple of people being carried out on stretchers to the ambulances and my jaw dropped to see that Josh was on one of them. :::Chapter 3 End::: I hope you guys are enjoying sorry if the chapter was kind of short I just wanted to get a new chapter out, but I will try to get another chapter out as soon as I can. Hello, my name is Uwasuberi Fujoshi; my friends just call me Beri.I’m 16 years old, with D cup breasts, I’m 6 foot 1 inch and have hazel eyes with long, brown hair down to my hips, which is a pain since it takes about an hour to wash and brush.I live in a tree hut on the edge of a cliff, the view is amazing, you can see the land all the way back to the distant mountains, so I don’t see the point in wearing clothes around in the house. Every day I drag my school uniform all the way to Sunset High, although it’s only about 5 minutes walk – as my friends keep reminding me – I hate still having to wear clothes for 6 hours.Right now I’m standing out on my balcony letting my skin absorb more delightful sunlight to add the the small tan I already have (and trying to get the tan lines out from around my bikini line). So while I stand here, I would like to take you through my week. Chapter 1 Still with tired eyes, I shuffled over to my uniform pile and gradually added one piece of clothing onto my soft skin at a time. Once I was finished I walked over to the bathroom and undressed for my daily shower. The warm water was quite nice against my skin, evenutally I began to get quite hot, and could feel my lower regions getting quite sweaty as well, my finger carresed my skin as it made its way down, the temptation became almost too much to handle. Quickly, I indulged in that quick passion, the pleasure overwhelming me. I could feel it tighten around my fingers, as I added another hand. Crumpling down to the shower floor, the extacsy began to overwhelm me. The pleasure rippled up through my spine. A strong sense of sweet papaya flowed out from between my legs. Moaning loudly, I began to feel the onslaught of a coming orgasm. With one final stroke, I froze. The pleasure consumed my body. My eyes screwed up, my head flew back against izmit escort the shower wall, my legs pushed together sliding my hands further in. Shuddering, I pulled my hand out, washed them under the flowing water, turned the water off and got dressed. Once I was done, I walked downstairs to the kitchen and grabbed a sandwich out of the fridge and shoved it into my lunch box. Slinging my backpack over one shoulder, I ran and jumped out of the hut and landed on my bicycle. I was a clear day – once my eyes had opened up a bit – and I could smell the trees and dirt and I sped across it all. Still feeling a throb from under my skirt, I began to get quite tired just as the school came into view.As I jumped off my bike I felt my legs give way, and my panties touched the concrete.Embarresed, I jumped up quickly, but not before leaving a wet mark on the courtyard. I blushed and wedged my bike in between Korika’s bike and a new, fancy, blue 10-speed. That reminds me. I still haven’t told you about my school life yet! Well, I’ll sort that out soon enough! I ran into class puffing – it seemed that my shower happenings took a little longer than I thought – I bowed to the teacher“Gomen nasai, sumimasen” I mumbled as I wove through the students.“Fujoshi san! Explain yourself!” belted the teacher.“Shitsurei Shimasu, ano… I burst a tire on the way over here.” I lied miserablely.“Aa, sou desu! Well, you might as well start your test.”“Tesuto! When did you tell us this?”“I told all of you last week. Now, sit down and work.” She backed me into my seat and slapped the test sheet on the desk, making the rusty hinges squeak.“Now, began! Gannbatte kudasai!”As per usual, I drifted off into a daze, and thought about this morning, it all came back in a rush. The gushing, steamy water; the sweet vapours; the feeling of climax. Before I knew it, my hand was under my skirt.“Now is not the time to be drifting into embarasing dreams, Fujoshi san, Tesuto!” Her words broke the spell that was cast over my mind, and at once I realized my situation. Once again, I pulled my hand out of my skirt, but no having anything to wipe gebze escort my hands on, I began to lick them off. The sweet solution gave me the buzz I needed to start on the test – an hour late, mind you – so I began to answer the questions, but not before I began to feel the throb once more. The more I ignored it, the worse it got, till I could feel it in my ears.“Sumimasen! Sensei-san! Can I please go to the toilet?” I called out, innocently“Hai…” Sensei sighed.“Arigato gozaimasu!” I yelled out as I jumped over the desk and ran out the door.Running down the coridor, I turned sharply, and magaged to bump into another student, sending us both sprawling.“Gomen nasai! I’m so sorry! Ano…” the other student spoke as she got up“Whats the matter?”“Ano… That skirt is a little too short!”“Wah!”“I’m tring to say, I can see under your skirt” she spoked quitely, with a bright red face.“Aa!” I scrambled up, and joined her red face trait.“Ano… My name is Kisoku, but my friends call me Mujitsu.“Aa sou desu ka! My name is Fujoshi, but everyone calls me Beri. Douzo yoroshiku! And now if you would excuse me, I need to go to the toilet!”“Chotto! I’ll come too!”We both casually walked down to the end of the coridor as the red faded from our cheeks.“Sumimasen.” I spoke and threw open the door and ran quickly into the nearest cubicle. I ripped off my skirt and thrust my hands deep inside me, ushing a gentle moan.Suddenly Mujitsu knocked on the unlocked cubicle door, swinging it open to an unsuspected, blushing Beri.“Ano….” we both mumbled as we stared at eachother with open mouths.“Gomen nasai! I shouldn’t be….” I began, but I stopped as I felt Mujitsu’s finger across my lips.“Shhh, let me help you.” She spoke tentaciously. I felt her fingertips stroke up my sides lifting my top off, and leaving my breasts cushioned in it’s deep red bra.“Ohh, look what we have here!” Whispered those lushious, pink lips of Muji’s.She pulled down the left side of my bra, letting the exposed breast, bounce slightly. I moaned as her tounge began to swirl around my free nipple. Biting one lip, I begged her to kuşadası escort go further down, but she just shook her head and began to take off her own blouse. Realising what she was doing, I help her unbutton it and hurriedly threw to the ground. Focusing on her breasts, I unclipped her bra and squeezed it with licked fingers. She gave her own quiet moan, and gave off a consuming odour, one that just made me want more.“Please, Muji chan, I need you inside of me!”“Fine then, only once will I finsh you off this quickly, next time, it will be quite different.”“Please!” I moaned out loud. She tugged on my skirt and threw it to the ground, along with my soaking wet panties.“Please!” Her soft fingers entered me, I moaned louder than I have before. She pumped her hand in and out of my body, and with a moan from her mouth I saw her other hand was busy with her own regions. Staring into each other’s eyes, we both began to climax. We both shook as the orgasm overwhelmed us, adding to the pleasure. In unison, we screamed as it pulled us further under. Sweaty, blushing, and breathing heavily, we stared into the other’s eyes, and smiled. The bell broke the our passionate tension, urging us to go outside for lunch.“Kuso! I forgot about the test!” I swore, yet still never breaking eye contact.“Gomen nasai!” Muji spoke as she broke eye contact to stand up – naked – and bow in apology.“Nani!? Don’t apoligise! I loved our encounter!” I exclaimed“Ahhh” she sighed “then would you mind if I hanged around with you at lunch time? I still…. Don’t really know what to do.”“Hai! Of course! Como-“ I said as I began to open the door. “Aaah!! I forgot!”Hearing a giggle behind me, I dug through the pile of clothes for my own wear.“Ano…” I said, holding out my soaking wet panties “These still haven’t dried out yet..” “So?” questioned Muji. Glaring at her, I slipped them on and felt the liquid press up against my already soaking spot, and finished getting dressed. Again. Sneaking out of the cubicle one at a time, we both walked down to the other side of the coridor and walked out onto the field. Feeling the warm sun against my skin, I began to come awhere of my senses once again, and recover from the bathroom incident.Feeling like I’ve forgotten something, I explored my mind for what I had before I got into class and I realised. No longer did my tender parts throb once more, instead they just awaited the next time Muji entered once again. Sex Hikayeleri: İlk Bakışta Ateşlenen Arzu Merve’yi bir arkadaş toplantısında görmüştüm. Uzun siyah saçları omuzlarına dökülüyor, dar kotunun içinde kalçaları net belli oluyordu. Göz göze geldiğimiz an, bakışlarında bir şey vardı. “Siktir… çok iyi… emmeye devam et” diye bağırıyordu. Parmaklarımı kıvırıp o noktaya bastırdığımda tüm vücudu gerildi. Bacakları titredi, amı parmaklarımı sıkıca kavradı ve boşaldı. Sıcak sıvı dilime ve çeneme aktı. Hepsini yaladım. “İşte böyle” dedim. “Daha yeni başlıyoruz.” Sex Hikayeleri: İlk Giriş ve Derin Doyum Ayağa kalktım, pantolonumu ve boxerımı indirdim. Sikim dimdik duruyordu, ucundan şeffaf bir damla sızmıştı. Merve yatağın kenarına oturdu, sikimi eline aldı. Avucu sıcak ve yumuşaktı. Başını eğdi, dilini ucuna sürttü. Sonra ağzını açıp yavaşça içine aldı. Boğazına kadar indirdi. Boğazı daraldı, ama geri çekilmedi. Başını sallamaya başladı. Islak sesler duyuluyordu. Bir eliyle taşaklarımı okşuyor, diğer eliyle sikimin kökünü sıkıyordu. “Boğazına kadar al” dedim. Daha da indirdi, gözleri yaşardı ama durmadı. Birkaç saniye boğazında tuttum, sonra bıraktım. Öksürdü, tükürüğü sikimin üzerinden süzülüyordu. “Çok güzelsin böyle” dedim. Onu yatağa yatırdım. Bacaklarını omuzlarıma aldım. Sikimin ucunu amının ağzına dayadım. Yavaşça ittim. İçeri girdikçe Merve’nin nefesi kesildi. “Ahhhh… çok kalın…” diye inledi. Tamamen içine gömülünce bir süre kımıldamadım. Sadece hissettim. Sıcak, ıslak ve dar. Sonra yavaş yavaş hareket etmeye başladım. Her girişte kalçalarımı sertçe vuruyordum. Merve’nin memeleri her darbede sallanıyordu. Her dalışta kalçalarına tokat attım. Kırmızı izler oluştu. “Daha sert… tokatla… sik beni” diye bağırıyordu. Sonra sikimi çıkarıp yavaşça göt deliğine dayadım. Ucu girdi. Merve nefesini tuttu. Duşta suların altında, ayakta, diz çökmüş, her pozisyonda denedik. Amı, ağzı, götü… hepsi doluydu, hepsi kullanılmıştı. Merve’nin vücudu ter ve döl içinde parlıyordu. Saçları dağılmış, dudakları şişmiş, gözleri yarı açıktı. Son seferinde onu sırtüstü yatırdım. Bacaklarını iyice açtım. Sikimi amına sokup yavaş ve derin hareketlerle siktim. Bu sefer acele etmedim. Her girişte dipte bekledim, sonra yavaşça çektim. Merve’nin elleri çarşafları yumruklamıştı. “Böyle… böyle devam et… içimde kal” diye yalvarıyordu. Klitorisini parmaklarımla ovarken içinde boşaldım. Sıcak döl amından dışarı sızdı, bacaklarının arasından aktı. Yanına uzandım. İkimiz de nefes nefese, ter içindeydik. Merve başını göğsüme koydu. “Bir daha yapacağız değil mi?” diye sordu. Cevap vermeme gerek yoktu. Sikim çoktan tekrar sertleşmeye başlamıştı. His lips–his pretty mouth–were painted an off shade of gloss pink. His body was completely shaved. He thought he looked terrific. Walking barefoot out to the kitchen Nick removed the bottle of raspberry vodka from the freezer and poured himself a quarter glass. He drank. It was ultra-cold going down. He smiled. The oven clock read 2:46. Fourteen minutes to go. Taking his drink with him, Nick walked to his front door and looked out the lights into the drive. It was empty. 13 minutes to go, according to the clock. He waited. He paced, the time seeming to stand still. He poured himself a shot’s worth of vodka. Don’t overdo it, Nick told himself. You want to be relaxed, at ease when he arrives, but not high. Not over the limit. Nick took a deep breath and let it out. Then another. He paced. Three o’clock finally arrived. Nick stood at the door lights looking out. Nothing. Not yet. 3:05 came and went. Fuck it. Nick poured himself more vodka. He felt empty. Completely empty inside. He’d had a bagel for breakfast, around nine, but that was it. A little while ago he’d douched himself–twice. Douched himself then, while rinsing off in the shower, opened himself up with his jelly dildo. Now the vodka–the alcohol–seemed to flow right through him. He was feeling tipsy. A little bit. He was getting a nice high on. 3:10. 3:11. Then at 3:12 the big two-color SUV wheeled into his driveway. Nick’s heart leapt. The cop wasn’t going to be a no-show. All that work Nick had done–in front of the mirror, on the toilet, in the shower–would not have been in vain. Nevertheless, Nick didn’t want to appear to be over eager. So he waited until the cop rang the doorbell–waited a few seconds after that–to discreetly open the door, remaining, all but his face, behind it. Nick smiled. “Hey there,” he said. “Sorry I’m late,” said the cop, entering Nick’s house. “Departmental meeting ran long.” “That’s OK,” Nick insisted. “Can I get you a drink or…?” Or, are you technically still on duty? They were standing in Nick’s vestibule. And the cop, seemingly suddenly transfixed, was staring at Nick. At his body. Looking it up and down. He reached a hand out–put it on Nick’s bare side. “You look…great!” the word abruptly exploding from him. Then another: “Hot!” “Thanks,” Nick blushed. “No, I’m fine, ümraniye escort fine,” he said about the drink. “Mind if I get myself one?” A fourth “one” as it were. “Not at all. Suit yourself,” said the cop. When Nick turned from the freezer the cop was removing his heavily ladened gun belt. He set it, coiled, on the counter end to his left. “Here OK?” “Sure. Fine,” Nick agreed. This is a good sign, he thought, pouring more vodka into a fresh glass. And taking the old one to the sink. It’s as if he’d just lowered his pants. The cop, meanwhile, had slid to his right onto the seat of a wooden barstool. Now he could sit and look at Nick–watch and observe him. He pointed a thickish index finger. “Tell me something. How do you…choose those?” This led Nick to look down at himself. At what the cop was looking, pointing at. “These?” he giggled, a little drunkenly. “I don’t,” Nick claimed. “I just reach into my drawer and put on whatever comes to hand.” “Cute!” the cop declared. “I wanted to wear…something,” Nick said. “They fit you great. Love the look.” “I’m glad,” Nick smiled. “I wore them just for you,” contradicting, perhaps, what he’d just claimed seconds before. “So anything else going on since…the robbery?” Nick shook his head. “No. No, sir. Any leads?” he asked. “Oh, you’ll have to talk to the detective about that,” said the cop, rocking side to side on the stool. “Have you talked to him?” “Her,” Nick corrected. “Left a voicemail. Haven’t heard back yet.” “Well stay on her,” the cop advised. Adding, “About that.” The conversation hit a brief lull before Nick asked, hopefully, “So how long can you stay?” “Depends. An hour. Half hour. Five,” he laughed, “minutes.” “Oh.” “So all those panties on the floor upstairs…,” the cop digressed, “I mean they were on the floor the other day. They’re…yours?” “Yes,” Nick nodded. “And the bras and the–“ “Yes,” Nick abruptly replied. “Why aren’t you wearing a bra today?” “For you?” Nick blinked. Fact is, he’d thought about wearing one but decided against it. Too…out there. Outré. “I…can…I can go upstairs and put one on.” The cop laughed. “No. Not necessary. Just checking. Wondering.” Nick forced a smile. “I tho

It was a nice balance of lecture and cider tasting. We learned about how ciders are made, the differences between mass and craft cider; where the apples come from; what 'local' means and how to identify different styles of cider. It was HOT. Like under boob sweat producing hot. Thank goodness, it's over...for now at least. Anyhow, if you were brave enough to venture out into the furnace-like temperatures you may have seen a gaggle of folks milling about and staring intently at their phones over at the Hyatt. No, they weren't catching Pokemon, they're food and wine bloggers in town for IFBC, most likely attempting to capture a few shots of a sexy looking wine bottle or an intricate arrangement of figs in natural light. Or if you're like me and lucky enough to live in town, you're rollin' on by after a full day at the office. Really...there's nothing like walking 3 blocks in 107 degree heat and busting into the Hyatt lobby looking sweaty and tired whilst everyone else looks cool, calm, and crisp.

Anyhow, I thought I'd share a few photos from the IFBC. Unfortunately, I didn't get to attend any of the day time excursions like toCapay Valley Ranches or Old Sugar Mill because I had to work but several people mentioned that they had a blast.

Here's a few shots from the Opening Night Reception I attended:

<img border="0" height="320" src="; style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="320" />

Almond Strawberry Trifles compliments of the folks at <a href="; target="_blank">California Almonds

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="320" src="; width="320" />

Marinated Cabecou from <a href="; target="_blank">Laura Chenel...the herb one was so good, I'm going to have to pick some up.

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="320" src="; width="281" />

California Cling Peach Caprese from the <a href="; target="_blank">CA Cling Peach Board

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="320" src="; width="320" />

Hope they start carrying <a href="; target="_blank">Gowan's Heirloom Cider in Sac soon, the Gravenstein cider was terrific. Like REALLY miss it. Although I love living with Mr. S and the kiddos, I miss being close to the all things I like to do. These days I feel like I spend a lot of time on 50 driving into downtown for work, driving back to the 'burbs and then turning right back around to meet up with friends in Midtown. On weekends, I find myself down there again, grabbing a drink with buddies or a bite to eat with Mr. S. Being in the 'burbs bites. For one thing, there's more Starbucks then you can shake a stick at but hardly any good independent coffee shops.

One of my favorite places of late to unwind is a place down near Mandy's house- Broadway Coffee. Not quite the Grid, but just on the perimeter. It's located on a quiet corner as you enter OP. The building used to be pretty non-descript but recently they gave the building a little mini-makeover and it's sporting a fun mural that makes it pop from its surroundings. The shop serves Temple coffee and has the most scrumptious desserts. My favorite is the pecan whisky tart (heated) but I've had terrific lemon bars, apple bread pudding and cookies there as well. (They get their desserts from <a href="; target="_blank">Desserts by Vesela and also carry some vegan eats by the <a href="; target="_blank">Sassy Oh Baking Company.) I also love that more often than naught, I can pop in there and grab a table with no wait. So far the place seems to be immune to the hipster infestation that seems to plague most of the neighborhood coffee houses in the Grid and it's surrounding areas. Not to rant too much about the subject, but I'm so tired of entering a coffee shop, buying a coffee and having no where to sit because people are camped out there for HOURS with their stupid laptops. I wish there was a max time limit on patrons being able to monopolize a table. I know, I know...first world problems.

Anyhow, the best part of Broadway Coffee is the staff. Seriously! In a time where good customer service is next to impossible to find, this little cafe nails it. No matter when I've gone in, I've found each staff member to be friendly and welcoming. My favorite barista though is Elizabeth. This lady has a 1000 kilowatt smile and within 2 minutes makes you feel at home.

If you get a chance, stop in and grab a cuppa, plop down at a table and savor a little "you" time. You won't be sorry.

2016/07/broadway-coffee.htmlnoreply@blogger.com (Ally)0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4853835865717343994.post-5845769316182588629Mon, 25 Apr 2016 03:41:00 +00002016-04-24T20:41:20.939-07:00dessertrecipeseattle"I Left my Heart in Seattle" BrowniesI recently went on a vacation to Seattle. I hadn't been back to the Emerald City in about five years, but just minutes into the drive to the hotel I remembered why it was one of my favorite cities to visit. The lush greenery, overcast skies, and the petrichor--it's like a familiar blanket that envelopes me. Not to mention the coffee...Seattle is a town that knows how to do coffee right. I think Mr. S. and I had at least 5 cups a day. Seriously. Nothing beats a great cup of joe. I'm a big Stumptown fan, but we also ventured out and hit up several other coffee houses this visit. FYI- In the midst of our caffeine quest, Mr. S. and I discovered that Fonte also makes an amazing Americano. Give it a go.

If you're not already a fan of the Kimpton chain of hotels I highly suggest checking them out. This is the second time we've stayed in a suite at the Alexis and we loved it. We got a great deal (25% off, free parking, and a $40 gift card). The free parking is a HUGE cost saver. Parking is crazy expensive in Seattle.

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="; width="320" />

Our Living Room

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="; width="320" />

The Dining Area (we were in the Ballerina Suite)

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="; width="320" />

The Bedroom

We also visited our favorite restaurant again- Cascina Spinasse in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. We did the Menu Degustazione (which includes every antipasto, primo and secondo on the menu) and every dish was spot-on amazing and the service was impeccable (just like last time). They've expanded a bit since the last time we were there but the restaurant has still retained it's rustic, romantic charm. The housemade fontina fonduta stuffed Caramelle with pinenuts and sage was just one of my favorite dishes that night. It just melted in my mouth.

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="228" src="; width="320" />

We did a few touristy activities as well- Pike Place, a ferry ride, the Space Needle, and a spin on the ferris wheel at sunset. Mr. S. wanted to check out the EMP Museum, so we did that too.

</span

It's a very complicated concept that shouldn't be. My lifestyle takes me different places more often that I wish it did so it is that much harder for me to make friends and worse yet to maintain those friendships. In the past few years I've met a myriad of people, some quite the characters. I've made some amazing connections and some that started out with the intensity of a Harlequin novel but fizzled almost immediately after the distance factor moved in. Those sometimes hurt the most. Those that you invest all your time on and open your heart to only to realize later on that they rather invest their time in the ones that don't require "as much work" as the one who moved away.

Maybe it's me, maybe that is another one of the aspects of my life in which I need to take it down a notch... I'm so intense and passionate in everything I do that I reckon I tend to overdo it. I work too hard on things even when there is, clearly, nothing left.

<a href=" style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 276px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 183px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5537690635326363938" border="0" alt="" src="; />

The way I see it you should treat a friendship with the same commitment and solidarity as you would treat a marriage. A true friendship has the power of pulling you through the darkest times, praise you during you days of triumph and ground you when you forget where you came from. It has the ability to build you up or to destroy you. We don't really give it the respect we should, we take it lightly and take it for granted. This is probably why it seems like so much work to maintain them. More than ever now that people can easily answer 528 when asked how many friends they have, thanks Facebook.

Actual human contact has been reduced to a chore, to special occasions, to a rare occurrence. It is quite sad and almost pathetic the way we treat each other. I understand the impersonal and much easier communication vehicle of social networking or texting but it seems we have forgotten how great it feels to hear that voice on the other end or feel the warm embrace of an old friend every once in a while not only on birthdays or holidays. Life almost always gets in the way and we don't even look back, we just move on and move forward not even caring what we leave behind.

Don't get me wrong, this is not some idealistic, cry fest, i want to matter to you bullshit but it is something that bothers me. It bothers me how we toss each other out like bad milk. It bothers me how we use each other while the getting is good and move on to the next party without even blinking. That's all. I am a guilty of this as much as the next person, I've done it too, plenty of times. People's lives change over time and sometimes the threads that connect us becomes frayed and weak. Usually why many relationships we thought "would last forever" turn out to be transient and friends, even very close ones, slip in and out of our lives for a variety of reasons. I understand all this, but something inside of me wishes we could hold on so forever wouldn't have to be over.2010/11/forever-is-over.htmlnoreply@blogger.com (Syrie)0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5942549264898711760.post-1374091479041313321Sat, 25 Sep 2010 00:32:00 +00002010-09-24T21:28:13.782-04:00People.Make.(me)Sick.<a href=" style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 235px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5520645809090934322" border="0" alt="" src="; />

WARNING: The following rant is not the normal type of writing that you get from me. This is unapologetic, raw, angry and full of f*bombs. If you believe in unicorns, rainbows, world peace and that love lasts forever, I strongly advise you not to read.

You know what?? I’m tired, tired of being “happy”, it’s fucking exhausting. I’m done, I’m done smiling, I’m done being positive, I’m done seeing the motherfucking glass half full. I’m done. It is so much pressure to be happy that I almost rather be bitter and bitchy. Yes, I love where I live. Yes, I love my husband (most of the time). Yes, I love my friends (the few that I have). Yes, I am grateful for all that I have but guess what?? I despise a lot of things too and I feel like I should be able to be angry and spit out a fucked up comment or two every once in a while. Since when is it socially unacceptable to complaint about whatever the hell you want to complaint about just because “there is always someone next to you that is worse off”? Seriously? Fuck off.

I have been wondering why I haven’t been able to write in about 2 months and I came to the conclusion that it is because I’m numb, I’ve tried so hard to suppress the angry, sarcastic, snarky bitch that I am that I have completely depleted my brain of any good writing material!! Honestly, I believe happiness produces good novels, but sarcasm and anger produce relatable reads…but maybe that’s just me.

Besides, watch the news, read the paper, listen to the people on the streets…is there really that much to be happy about? The economy is shit, the health crisis is not getting any better, the caps are melting, the weather is bananas, people are losing their homes, there are no jobs and I still haven’t won the lottery.

I have decided to stop feeling guilty for not being satisfied, for wanting more, for thinking that the road doesn’t end here and I have no reason to be complacent, I have earned my right to rant. Yes, my life has gotten much better. No, I don’t have the stress of a horrible job that I hate. But the world I live in is so unbelievably fucked up! I have recently flirted with the idea of having a child in a couple years but the more I think about it, the more I analyze it, the more panic sets in. I honestly can barely take care of my dogs and seriously consider giving them up for adoption about 4 times a week. Kids, you cant give back kids, no matter what that crazy Torry-Ann Hansen lady did to that little Russian boy. Granted, a child will not piss on your floor or eat your walls but still, you have to feed it, educate it, protect it and love it. That kind of love terrifies me. Unconditional love, just the thought of it makes my stomach turn like everything worth worrying about. That topic will be one day worth revisiting.

Back to the angry, sarcastic, snarky bitch that I am...Let me asure you, I like being all happy, sweet and nice. And I am nice just don't be an idiot because I have no patience for it and I am simply not going to take it. By not taking it I mean I will embarass you in front of your friends by calling you out on your idiocy. If this makes me an angry, sarcastic, snarky bitch, then sign me up. So, world, what I am asking from you is to please let me be angry, let me be pissed off. At least for this week. Who knows? Maybe this is the infamous PMS showing its ugly face, but I suspect it is not, I'm pretty sure I'm wired like this, this is who I am and I do not plan on apologizing.

2010/09/peoplemakemesick.htmlnoreply@blogger.com (Syrie)2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5942549264898711760.post-6930401906843321166Tue, 10 Aug 2010 04:12:00 +00002010-08-10T01:17:16.039-04:00For the Sisterhood<a href=" style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 213px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5503644309892760274" border="0" alt="" src="; />

Today is the last day that I will sit here and watch silently as you wither away. Silence has never been my thing, I edit myself as little as possible, you know that. I wish you could see yourself as I see you. Strong, beautiful, intelligent, full of life and potential. Instead you think very little of you, and too much of him. Somehow his web has tangled all around you and slowly you're closing the door. I wish I could hold on to you and guide you out of it, far away to the times when you had that light in your eyes, when you looked at your future full of hope and promise, before him. I sometimes feel slightly responsible, for leaving, for not being there enough, for not taking that phone call, for not answering that message. I wish you would have listened, I wish you could see.

You tell the world he loves you but I'm not sure you believe it wholeheartedly but you've gone too far. There's no looking back now, what will people say? You've defended him, fought for him, held his hand through the dark times. No, you can't leave now, then your mother would be right. You will never allow that, no, not you. Now you've chosen to cry in private, you've chosen to not say a word. To paint your pain in a shade of red and disguise it as passion and conviction. To tell the world how happy you are while trying to prevent the next bomb from exploding. You peel away a little more of yourself everyday to make him happy, you do what he wants, because what you want can wait. You've become an extension of him, maybe that way he will love you, maybe that way he will choose you and not his vice.

Lying has become second nature, and reality has turned a dark shade of gray. But not to me, you don't lie to me, instead you have become silent. No more phone calls, no more of the messages that used to make my day, silence, dead, cold silence. With the promise of a phone call that never comes, because you can't face me. Because you've found someone else that tells you how great he is. You know I know. I know you, I see right through you. You have stopped reaching out, you don't want judgement, you don't want lectures, you don't want to hear the truth. The truth is I love you and it hurts. It hurts because I feel your pain, we've all been there in one way or another. I know what heartbreak feels like, I've looked at it in the eye. It might be too late for us, maybe we rather leave things well alone. But if its the last thing I tell you let it be that there is still time for you. Don't let it be too late. Shed that skin and rip him off your soul. Maybe the numbness will go away and you will feel again. Raw, gut wrenching pain the pain that comes before every sunrise after the rain. Touch your body and hug yourself again, look for the light in your eyes. It is only then that you will find what is real, what is true, the one that is forever. After loving you. Maybe our paths will cross again and we will glance at each other knowingly with a smile. Since silence has never been my thing I had to. For your mother, for your sister, for your neighbor, for your friend, for you and for me. You know who you are.
2010/08/for-sisterhood.htmlnoreply@blogger.com (Syrie)2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5942549264898711760.post-6655354649866369077Wed, 14 Jul 2010 23:42:00 +00002010-07-14T20:04:26.859-04:00Buffalove<a href=" style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 298px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 298px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5493912683181560722" border="0" alt="" src="; />

When I first heard the name it didn't inspire any excitement in me, to be honest I knew little to nothing about the place, chicken wings was basically the first thing that came to mind. Every person I told that there was a possibility we were moving to Buffalo concluded that we had lost our minds. Everything I heard was negative; it's so cold, there is nothing to do there, it's a dead city, there is so much snow in the winter, it is so cold, it's so far away, it is so cold... Lets just say I was a little more than hesitant. We though about it and though about it and thought about it some more, but in the end it was the right choice for us, so we did.

We headed north. The way there was hell, I hate Virginia and all her cousins. I was lucky to have my mom as a co-pilot, otherwise I would've had a panic attack by the second toll booth. I have an aversion to driving and I drive the automotive equivalent of a horse and buggy, I hate it and it hates me which is probably the reason why my tire blew in South Carolina...it didn't pop, it didn't slowly get flat, it blew, it blew to pieces and I thought I had pissed my pants. I handled it like a champ, my husband said, meaning I didn't have a complete nervous breakdown and there was no crying involved..just some slight cursing. Three glorious days later we reached our destination and it was worth every second of driving agony.

Now that I have lived in Buffalo for more than 5 minutes I think I know why I have never heard anything positive about this town...because Buffalonians are smart people and they want to keep the fact that this city is amazingly fantastic a secret... I'm guessin' it's to prevent overpopulation and all the bullshit that comes with it, you know? They don't care if you think their city sucks, they know it doesn't suck. It doesn't suck at all. One thing I heard more than once was that "people live in Buffalo because they can't afford New York City", really? Really? I'm pretty sure, the person who told me that has never been to North Buffalo or any of its glorious, wealthy neighborhoods. With the risk of sounding like a cheap infomercial... I believe Buffalo has the best of both worlds, the hustle and bustle of the city and the beautiful scenery that characterizes upstate New York, without the overcrowding of the urban sprawl, the pornographic housing and living costs or the hellish traffic congestion.

Another thing I was expecting was for people to be rude, loud, obnoxious and uninterested. You know, the typical New Yorker. I am sure there are some...since, lets face it, stereotypes are 90% based on truth...but I have yet to encounter any. To my surprise the people I have met are genuinely nice and excited to tell me all about Buffalo and how great it is. And they actually give a shit about what I have to say, or so it seems. One thing that has really stood out to me, mostly because I can relate since I feel the same way about where I'm from, is their pride. They are proud of where they live and what they do and it shows. Buffalonians are passionate people, people that truly care and are aware of their surroundings and how they impact their environment. Something we should all care a bit more about. It is very rewarding to live somewhere where the people that stand out are not the ones doing everything wrong, the people that stand out are the ones that are doing things right, that's a refreshing change.

Maybe I'm being naive. Maybe this is not the Buffalo some people have experienced. Maybe I'm just high on smog. But as of right now this is my Buffalo. The Buffalo I have seen, I might not have seen it all but I have seen enough to know that I love it. I am grateful to be here. I feel lucky to be able to take a walk downtown, to look at the lighthouse down at the Marina, to go to the market on Saturdays, to sit on the park and not worry about getting mugged. To stroll down Elmwood with a delicious cup of coffee that wasn't brewed at Starbucks or cost me my first born, to go shop at the Coop and know that the money that I am spending will revitalize my economy not China's, to be able to meet the farmer that grew and picked the vegetables that I'm having for dinner. I'm grateful for beef on weck, frosty Canadians and 72 degrees summer days. These are all things that make this place unique and truly incredible and exciting, this is what quality of life is all about. I've been trying to define all that I feel towards this place and the other day I read it somewhere: it's Buffalove. Definition - a marriage of two smile-inducing words, not unlike the combination of married celebrities, or divorcing celebrities, or otherwise romantically entangled celebrities. Anyway, it means you love Buffalo.* I thought it was the perfect word.

From now on if any of my friends that live elsewhere ask me how I like it here I will say it's shit. Don't worry Buffalo, your secret is safe with me. ;)

*Block Club Issue #19, May/June 20102010/07/buffalove.htmlnoreply@blogger.com (Syrie)1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5942549264898711760.post-4169944907818268003Sat, 19 Jun 2010 02:05:00 +00002010-07-03T09:03:48.971-04:00Nomad<a href=" style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 213px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5489662639808006914" border="0" alt="" src="; />
1238. That is the exact number of miles from my previous home to my new home. Once again we hopped on to the train of life and started over full speed ahead. This time it feels different, this beginning smells of fresh air, it smells of happy, it smells of hope with a little city smog for good measure. Most people don't understand how we do it, how we are able to, at the drop of a hat, pack up and move on. Others tell me how envious they are of just that. The thing is that to me a home is not 4 walls, or a specific place, to me home is a feeling. That feeling of warmth, of security, of love, of butterflies. Knowing that no matter where in the world you are, you are in the right place at the right time and as long as we are together everything will be fine.

To be quite honest, places tend to bore me so I wholeheartedly embrace change. And this time, change I will get. For starters I had never been to my new home before, not to visit, or driven through, nothing, ever. I am also from an Island so by nature I don't handle cold weather too gracefully and my new home is literally twenty minutes away from Canada...so I guess I better get used to it or start eating whale fat...ha! Also, for the first time since the invention of electricity I will not have to work for a living. Yes people, I am divorcing the restaurant industry. And it's not amicable, not at all. I now live in New York, the grand state of New York, Buffalo to be exact. Where dreams are made and broken. Just the thought of the possibilities brings tears to my eyes, expands my waistline and overdrafts my bank account.

I have been here exactly 113 hours and I am already in love. I'm in love with the air, I'm in love with the trees, I'm fascinated by the architecture, I salivate over the food. I don't get tired of walking up and down the sidewalks for miles and miles, and I'm sure those of you that know me know how shocking this statement is since I'm chronically allergic to any kind of exercise!

I simply can not wait to be an active member of the community, to make friends (gasp!), do something for the city, anything to leave my mark. I am going to start a writing internship with a local magazine that has a strong online presence, my heart flutters just thinking about it, I get to write, to write and be read. I am so happy about it that I'm not even scared or intimidated by the judgemental eye of the readers although I know it can be brutal sometimes mostly because us writers always leave a little piece of ourselves on the page. We don't take criticism lightly...

Today we are going to a wonderful place, a place filled with smells, flavors, colors and endless possibilities; the farmers market. Food excites me, and quite frankly eating it is not solely the exciting part. I rejoice in every single little step; from looking at the ingredients on display, smelling them, picking them, walking home thinking about all I will prepare, washing it, chopping it, smelling it again, the anticipation when cooking it and that sensation you get in your mouth when you look at it and start to salivate...Doesn't it make you hungry?

I believe this is why I am so in love with this city, it is because of this city that I get to experience all of these things that until now I have only dreamed of. Now it will all become a part of my life, and I really love my life right now, so much that I'm a little scared that at some point someone is going to pull the rug from under me...But enough of that, no more negative thoughts. It's because of those negative thoughts that we sometimes don't fully enjoy things in life, because somehow we don't feel like we deserve it, like our life isn't fully ours, and we choose to enjoy those moments cautiously and not passionately as they quickly pass us by.

Today, I vow to enjoy every single moment with hair pulling, heart racing, sweat inducing passion, I am going to hug and kiss my life every day. I will fully absorb every sight, every sound, every smell so if my gypsy heart takes me somewhere else I don't have to look back and cry, I will look forward and smile.
2010/06/nomad.htmlnoreply@blogger.com (Syrie)0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5942549264898711760.post-7978303863950507723Fri, 14 May 2010 02:19:00 +00002010-05-14T00:13:47.224-04:00Sabatini Cocoa and her knight in shinning armor<a href=" style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5470973999499601714" border="0" alt="" src="; />

All of you that know me are aware that I am not your average married girl. I have somehow managed to balance my married life with my own life and I expect my husband to do the same. I have plenty of single friends and I live vicariously through them, even though I don't miss single life a bit (I am too lazy for it). I have dates with my husband, I have dates with my girlfriends, I have dates with my husband and my girlfriends. And sometimes those dates with my single ladies turn into unexpected adventures, to say the least.

I've always said my life is one of those "you had to be there jokes" and last night is an epic example of it...It all started very innocent, a girlfriend invited me out for a drink to listen to some good music and talk shit, which is one of my favorite sports only second to shopping. I very rarely go out without my husband, not because I can't but because I don't need to, I don't want to. I have tons of fun with him and my girlfriends love him. I have to give him a lot of credit because it must not be easy to keep your testicles in place after enduring many hour long discussions about: whats wrong with Mr. Big?, did you see the new Instyle?, argh, I wish I looked like Kim Kardashian...you get my drift. I will never forget a particular evening that involved my husband, two of my girlfriends, vulgar amounts of champagne, a hotel room and myself...Any man's fantasy, right? Well, he ended up nursing 3 drunk chicks in frumpy pajamas that were threatening to cut his testicles, saute em' and feed em' to him if he didn't shut the fuck up...Bless his heart.
Going back to last night, I get home from work, start getting dressed and decide to wear what I call my stripper shoes (5 inch bronze platforms heels) because my friend, who will remain un-named, is particularly tall and I needed some leverage. Little did I know that those shoes where going to become the irony preceding that evening. I get to the place, a dim lit small Italian restaurant and meet my friend at the bar, she looks fabulous as usual and she orders me a drink from the bat shit crazy bartender. The bartender, who will also remain un-named, is one of those characters that you have to love because you didn't have another choice, she is loud, obnoxious, 75% plastic and clearly starved for attention. Did I mention that no matter what or how much we drink our tab is always $15.00? So, needless to say, after the show was over our decision making abilities where impaired, so she suggests we continue drinking. I swear to God this girl has an inhuman resistance to alcohol, the bitch can drink for days!!

I suggest we go to a bar next door that is conveniently within walking distance from my apartment (you know, just in case we have to make a run for it) she agrees. We get in her car and the bat shit crazy bartender suggests we change our destination to a place called "Envy", mind you, I am new to the area and I don't get out much so I say: "sure, lets go!" before my inebriated brain realizes "Envy" is a strip club. At this point we are half way there and I can't freak out because then I will always be "that boring married old bitch" and my drunken self would never have that.

We get to the place and the bat shit crazy bartender introduces us to the owner and tells him we are "rock stars", I smile and make a beeline to the bar. I had 2 choices, I either sat next to a half naked middle aged woman grinding on top of a defeated looking (married) old man or I sat next to a rather normal looking dude. I chose the latter, my poor friend sat next to the before mentioned couple. I'm not above it or anything, but man! this place is seedy. The woman behind the bar looked like she had eaten a pharmacy load of painkillers and was rude on top of high! I text my husband: "OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG I'm at a titie bar,FML!!" to which he answers: "Haha". Seriously? We ask for a Mich Ultra and a Heineken, we got a Mich Ultra and a Bud Light, I hate Bud light but I am not going to fight a stripper wannabe, not tonight. I start sippin' on my beer and admiring the strategically placed mirrors on the wall that make it seem like there's tits on my head when the man sitting next to me decides to utter these words: "well, it suddenly got prettier in here". I smile, say thanks, but the fucking guy wants to talk. I am the only girl that comes to a strip club and gets hit on by a guy, or so I was told. Needless to say, the working ladies where giving me dirty looks since I was entertaining their customer for free and fully clothe.

Unfortunately I had to pee so I went to the sad, cruel excuse for a bathroom which doubles as a dressing room. It smells of beer, broken dreams and bad decisions.I had a slight heart attack when the first thing I see is a head peaking out of an unlocked stall and a Puerto Rican flag on the floor, yes people, I couldn't make this shit up. I say, very nonchalantly: "nice flag" to which Candy replies "thanks, I'm Puerto Rican". I made the rookie mistake of saying: "me too". Well, now I know Candy has a 3 year old who is 4 feet tall and his daddy is Hatian and doesn't pay child support. I smile and walk away, slooowly while she is on the phone. I text my husband to please, please, please come save me! I get back to the bar and my friend and I start talking about what our stripper names would be, you know, the name of the first street you lived in and your first pet. Turns out mine is Sabatini Cocoa and hers Gennaker Sydney, classy. I feel a hand on my back and I jump about a foot and a half, its the door girl pointing towards the entrance. There he is, my knight in shinning armor coming to rescue my drunk ass. We got home and as I scrubbed the night off my skin I think about how lucky I am, how great my life is regardless of all the bullshit. I'm thankful that I can put those demonic shoes away, and that I will never have to use the name Sabatini Cocoa.
2010/05/sabatini-cocoa-and-her-knight-in.htmlnoreply@blogger.com (Syrie)2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5942549264898711760.post-3875657673660416903Sun, 09 May 2010 00:51:00 +00002010-05-08T21:21:01.650-04:00The characters that give life to my story

Growing up I was, lets say, a little challenging. Anything and everything I wasn't supposed to do I probably did. I drank, I smoked,I partied, I dated older boys and hated school. I had one goal and one goal only, piss my mother off, I did an amazing job at that , by the way. I swore to myself that I would never be like her, that I would be different, that I would be better...

Boy, how things change!! Not only did I start looking just like her, but with each passing day I started acting more and more like her. As the years passed I started understanding and listening to my mother a little more, of course I never let her know I was listening, but I was. I am. And today, I believe that I would be the luckiest girl alive if I turn out to be HALF the woman my mother is.

Truth is that I come from a long line of amazing, remarkable women. My grandmother is a fighter, a survivor and the most gentle soul you will ever encounter. I truthfully cant remember ever seeing her angry or loosing her temper, except when grandpa insists on messing with her garden! Ha! Grandma raised her daughters right and in turn my aunt and my mother raised us right. I am very fortunate to have a tight group of women in my life that shape who I am and who I will become as time progresses.

I can only hope to inherit my grandmother's kind heart, her compassion, her faith in God and in people. From my aunt, her disarming smile, her perseverance, her honesty and her sense of style. And from my mother, well, what can I say, you are a true survivor, an inspiration. You never put your head down, you continue walking. No matter what life has thrown at you, you always come out on top, no matter the sacrifice, you always make it happen. Thank you for making me eat my pancakes and blow my nose. Thank you for all the birthdays, for all the recitals, for all the dreams you made come true.

To all the women in my life, the angels in my life, mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sister, friends. Thank you because even though I might not say it, sometimes not even show it, you are and will always be the characters that give life to my story and without you life would definitely be, well, life less.
2010/05/characters-that-give-life-to-my-story.htmlnoreply@blogger.com (Syrie)1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5942549264898711760.post-1910848460963728118Tue, 04 May 2010 00:45:00 +00002010-05-15T23:22:51.232-04:00Rehab<a href=" style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 232px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5471702894396206946" border="0" alt="" src="; />

I don't know why I put myself through this, every month, to be honest it's more like every week. I salivate and my hands get clammy when I am in the presence of a new fashion magazine. I buy them like it's my job, my religion. I bet my husband would prefer I'd develop a drug habit in place of my magazine habit, it would be quite possibly cheaper. I sit in complete silence, fan the pages on my face, smell it, inhale it, salivate again. Then I devour it. I first look at every page with the voracious desperation of a child opening presents on Christmas morning. Then I start over again and read each article meticulously. Then something awful happens. Just what I imagine happens to a junkie after a fix, that wave of self hatred, self loathing, that deep, deep sense of helplessness. And I ask myself this question: Why the fuck can't I be rich so I can buy all this shit???!!!! It happens EVERY TIME.

Some people might think this is silly and a tad overly dramatic. But I urge you to stop and think about this. Where do you think women get their ideals on beauty, life, relationships and even parenthood? Ok, so probably 50% is from Oprah, but the other 50% is from what? The media, in the form of glossy, bright, beautifully overpriced magazines. How else can you explain that something like "gaucho" pants are fashionable and the fact that Kate Gosselin is still on TV. Magazines. Oh! the lies they tell! Like the fact that Jennifer Aniston's secret is Smart Water, that simple, water. Bullfuckingshit, how about the fact that she is a bizillionaire, has a personal chef, a trainer,a stylist and virtually zero stress. Not to mention that she will forever have images of her naked ex Brad Pitt embedded into her brain. I'm guessing, THAT! is her secret.

I read through the pages like I'm looking for the meaning of life, which I'm sure is somewhere between relationships and the horoscope. I love how they tell you everything, ranging from simple things like "what to do to look super cute" to "how to know when your man is cheating" and validate your life with columns like "don't worry, it ok...". If only it was that easy, if only all the answers could be contained in 194 full color pages. Us, as a society have given so much importance to celebrity that we have lost track of what's real, what's important. Do you even know how many houses I have decorated in my head while reading the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar, or how many fabulous parties have I attended in haute couture while reading Vogue? At this point I am basically best friends with Lauren Conrad and we can not wait till that annoying girl Heidi goes away, ewww, she is totally gross and totally jealous of us.

It's a little ridiculous how far my celebrity knowledge goes. But please don't ask me what's going on in the middle east because I have no idea, after all, no good gossip comes from those parts. I remember the days when I would read the paper cover to cover and knew everything about current events and politics. I really wonder what happened? Did reality become too painful to bear, did it become so real that I needed to escape? Maybe I escape inside frivolous publications because I want to be lied to, I want someone to tell me to my face that if I but a pair of Christian Louboutins my life will be better, that I'll be happier. That the worst tragedy happening in this world is that Jessie cheated on Sandra, not that millions of children are dying because they have nothing to eat. That is too depressing. I think about wanting to make a difference in the world, do something that matters, but right now I don't have enough money, no, it'll have to wait. I don't allow myself to think too much about it because it brings me back to reality, to my reality. Where I want to do so much to make a difference but don't have the means to do it, where I want to start a change but I'm too lazy to take action. I use the cheap almost mundane excuse that "one person can't make a difference".This is why I escape, because right now I need to, any other option will be too painful. So I turn to the next page. Maybe I need help, maybe I need life rehab. It worked for Britney and Lindsay, and as the thought enters my mind I immediately wonder if the Betty Ford Clinic allows magazines....
2010/05/rehab.htmlnoreply@blogger.com (Syrie)2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5942549264898711760.post-1276285764922346569Mon, 03 May 2010 22:28:00 +00002010-05-14T00:43:14.296-04:00Women of a certain age<a href=" style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 218px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5470981681654125714" border="0" alt="" src="; />

I've been thinking about friendship lately. Is it me or does it really get more difficult to make friends as you get older? It would make sense for it to get more difficult since your interests shift and you expect different thing from people. I remember being 17 at a bathroom in a club (underage drinking and partying was my sport!) and some random girl came up to me and told me how much she loved my top, we have been friends ever since. I gave her that top and she still has it.

I find it really challenging to make friends these days and quite franky most of the time I just don't want to be bothered with it. Is it that I am too demanding? Too jaded? Maybe even scared to get hurt. Could it be that I am comfortable knowing that regardless of friendships being married means I am not alone? Fuck! Just the thought of that is really disturbing because I swore to myself that I would never turn into "that married girl that doesn't need friends cause she married her best friend", I hate that girl! No, I am not that girl. I love my husband and we have a great relationship but I don't necessarily want to discuss with him the things I talk to my girlfriends about, besides, he would be bored to tears or completely uninterested when I start talking about Tomkat, Brangelina and Speidi and if he wasn't I would be afraid, very afraid.

I don't understand women that say they want a man that likes fashion designers, pop music, trips to the spa and never ending shopping trips...umm do you want a gay friend? Or do you want to get laid? Cause' you cant have both from the same man!! (I mean, physically you could but ewww!) Just like you cant get everything from one girlfriend.

I consider myself quite promiscuous when it comes to friendships, I have many friends, all very different and I think they all represent different aspects of who I am, all my different personalities..ha! And even though this is fun and all, most of the time we share the laughter but hide the tears. You are who you want to be, share what you want to share, never get too close this way you wont be judged or hurt. In part because lets be honest, few friendships are without self interest. I have found myself craving a core, those people who not only are there when your world catches on fire but remain when the smoke clears and help you pick up the pieces. This is the type of friendship that is the hardest to find, the ultimate goal, the hallmark card inspiring , lifetime made for tv movie of friendships. The friend that'll force you to examine and encourage you to grow. That doesn't tell you what you want to hear, tells you the truth and nothing but the truth, unadulterated, pure, clean and concise. I don't have time for anything less, after all I am not 17 anymore.
2010/05/women-of-certain-age.htmlnoreply@blogger.com (Syrie)0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5942549264898711760.post-6930712684529691403Wed, 28 Apr 2010 15:39:00 +00002010-05-14T00:46:03.401-04:00Can I please have my happy ending?<a href=" style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 275px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5470982235104774194" border="0" alt="" src="; />

And I am not referring to the Asian kind. I mean the utopically perfect life I was promised if I went to school, then college, got a job and found a man to marry. Granted, I took a couple shortcuts along the way, drove drunk and deviated from the route quite a bit but at the end I got to my destination. I graduated college, got a career and conned a decent man into marring me and yet I feel like so much is missing. I am looking for a purpose, a motivation, something to believe in, something to lean on. And if you tell me to have a child I might just punch you in the face. Seriously.

Lately I can't seem to shake this feeling, this incredibly aggravating voice in my head telling me all that is wrong with me and all that I am not doing to make a difference and create a legacy. Go green, exercise more, eat less, quit smoking, save money, take your fucking vitamins, get some sleep... I have tried everything to shut the bitch up but nothing seems to work, no vodka, no beer, no fatty food or designer purchase. Nothing, the bitch is resilient. So I guess I have to shut up and listen. Listen to myself, really listen. Something I haven't done in quite some time for one reason or another. Mainly because sometimes its painful, it is painful to take a deep, hard look inside yourself and realize you left your dreams on hold, on hold for the "better" things that came along. Came along and are now gone. The way I see it, I have 2 options. Either I sit on my couch and let life happen (which I do quite often) or I take charge, stop making excuses and do me, do me and mine. Create my own happy ending, Asian kind and all.
2010/04/can-i-please-have-my-happy-ending.htmlnoreply@blogger.com (Syrie)1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5942549264898711760.post-1984939839454596152Wed, 28 Apr 2010 04:26:00 +00002010-05-14T00:44:19.125-04:00Quarter Life Crisis<a href=" style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 239px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5470981968914181698" border="0" alt="" src="; />

For most people, I am a well adjusted, rational, responsible young woman with a promising career, a great marriage and a fabulous life. In all actuality, I am just a great actress who missed her calling (as my mother so accurately puts it). I am, in fact completely chaotic, neurotic, judgemental, bitter and most of the time irresponsible. I do believe I am great at what I do but at the same time sulk in self loathing because I hate every minute of it. I am in the food and beverage industry and have been for what seems like an eternity and no, I am not one of the lucky ones that are working on a degree while waiting tables to pay my rent, tuition and drug habit, I actually went to college and have a degree in this shit. I'm completely invested in it, I even married a Chef, THAT invested. They say it takes a certain type of personality to make it big in this industry, I say yes, it takes having SEVERAL personalities AND an alter ego to make it, not to mention a tough skin and an endless supply of vodka to put up with the emotional and physical abuse that you have to endure. I also have passion for writing and I never shut the fuck up, which often gets me in trouble. I curse like a sailor, although I have never met a sailor so I can't accurately confirm this fact. I think I am a good friend but let's face it, who doesn't think they are? I am great at giving advice but I believe I need a life coach, and I cant swim even thought I am from an Island. I have two dogs who I believe are the dog versions of my husband and I, the female is jaded, opportunistic and uninterested and the male is overly excited, sweet and clueless. The beach makes me happy and I believe there are few better things than a really cold beer. My husband insists that I have body dysmorphia and that I am not fat but his job consists of making people eat pornographic amounts of calories and be happy about it, even pay for it so I don't know if I should trust him. And I am convinced that I am going through a quarter life crisis. So I have decided to write this blog as a more economical option to therapy. But I have to warn you that due to the graphic nature of my life some content might not be suitable for all readers. Please be advised that nudity, rude and crude language, violence and brutally honest content will be present...
2010/04/quarter-life-crisis.htmlnoreply@blogger.com (Syrie)2

We certainly did. Here we have the enormous serving of butternut nachos with butternut-cashew queso, maple chorizo, tomato salsa, mango salsa, and guacamole. INSANE! I want this cheese always and forever. I want it poured on everything; I want it in a vat to save for emergencies. I want it now, tomorrow, and every day thereafter. I've been vegan for almost 20 years and I lived through some pretty hard times for vegan cheese, so I DESERVE THIS and so do you. The maple chorizo? Incredible. I love maple everything and this was easily the best vegan, taco "meat" I've ever had. I'm generally ambivalent about mango, but DAMN that sweetness was a killer addition to this seemingly bottomless bowl of stupendous nachos. I could go on an on, but you get the point.

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="400" src="; width="400" />

Oh, those drinks back there? Mind-blowing dragonfruit lemonade to feed my new dragonfruit obsession. Who wouldn't want to drink something this beautiful and refreshing- particularly on a day where the "real feel" is 101 degrees? Perfectly sweet, tart, and pink. Absolutely loved it.

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="; width="300" />

Served in the cutest, reusable pineapple, this tropical guava punch with coconut rum is a sweet, delicious beverage with a literal rum punch- GENIUS! Couldn't choose a favorite, so just sipped alternately through the beautiful paper straws that complimented both the drinks and my manicure.

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="; width="300" />

Next up were the cauliflower tacos with arugula, sweet & spicy chili sauce, and black sesame seeds. Having just eaten these, I know that if I was granted three wishes, I'd probably use one to have the ability to reach into this photo and eat them again. And, while I could not and will not pick a favorite, you should know that when I asked my SO my favorite post-meal question, "If you were ordering again RIGHT NOW, what would be the first thing that you'd order," he said these and I strongly concur. Trying to stick to the rule of three with adjectives, so I'll just say that they were the most flavorful, crunchy, sweet tacos I've ever tasted and if you know anyone that has taste buds, you should definitely make them come eat these with you pronto.

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="; width="300" />

Here's another photo of the nachos just because I want you to know that I didn't forget about them; I ate them throughout the meal so they'd know that I still loved them.

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="; width="300" />

The spicy jalapeno mac & cheese with cashew cheese, jalapeño-basil pesto, and the best, crispest, spiciest jalapeño slice in all the world was positively luscious. Creamy, dreamy, and not done justice by this photo, which was taken in a rush because the mac was served steaming and that was the way it was meant to be enjoyed.

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="400" src="; width="400" />

Full disclosure: we also shared the massive animal lover burrito with coconut-lime rice, black beans, butternut-cashew queso, maple chorizo, shiitake carnitas (!), tomato salsa, mango salsa, and guacamole. Correction: we inhaled it. It was intense and incredible and, unfortunately, not too photogenic. Find comfort in the knowledge that it was just one of those things that is such a terrific amalgamation of deliciousness, that it couldn't be captured by a single frame. Or, just go get one for yourself and find comfort in that.

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="300" src="; width="400" />

not sure you can read this, but you can find the menu <a href=";

You'd think we would have been full by now, but you forget that I am a professional. I haven't blogged much of late, but you probably remember the drill: ALWAYS SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT!

We didn't go in expecting to order the matcha soft serve with cashew milk, but it was so hot out and it looked so tropical and inviting (not to mention photogenic) that we couldn't resist.

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="; width="300" />

When we finally dug in (I can't help that it's pretty from every angle and with every backdrop), our minds were blown by the sumptuous creaminess; everything we thought we knew about matcha was so wrong. After we'd each had a single bite and our individual eyeballs had popped out of our collective skulls, I whispered to my SO, "We're not even big fans of matcha; how is this possible?" HE DIDN'T KNOW EITHER. Later that evening, because we will never talk about anything but this extraordinary meal ever again, he said wistfully, "I can't believe that I could have to go through the rest of my life not eating that ice cream." This is the shame of a pop-up; it's so fleeting! But, instead of lightning in a bottle, we have awesome matcha ice cream served in a real coconut. Such is life, my friends; go while you can.

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="; width="300" />

And, speaking of the world's most photogenic desserts, behold the famous sprinkle cake slice that infinitely surpassed all of our ridiculously high expectations.

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="; width="300" />

Appreciate the layers and the fact that I, lover of all things chocolate, agreed to share this cake in its purest, vanilla form, and wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="; width="300" />

Now, take another look at the dense coating of what is, perhaps, the perfect food: sprinkles:

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="; width="300" />

Yeah, you know I walked around (and outside of) the restaurant to try and fully capture the beauty that is this cake; I'm not embarrassed! If you've had it, you understand. If you haven't, go, Go, GO! When we were describing the cake to VM, my SO said, "It was no ordinary cake." She replied*, "I don't think anything she makes is ordinary." Ain't that the truth.

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="; width="300" />

As if all of this wasn't enough, look at these completely precious earrings I got to take home to remember the day! My sweetest heart, 89, happens to be a lover of flavored, bubbly water (strange, but true). She did not venture to the pop-up with us, but I promise that I will find a way to let her share these with me that doesn't require her getting her ears pierced.

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="; width="300" />

Supernatural is located at 27 East 19th Street and open for lunch only: 11am - 3pm, until July 28th. So, the trip started with logistics that mostly worked out. Though sitting here writing this I realize I forgot to send in my proxy for my HOA meeting.

Week 1:

Tuesday through Friday I worked, so I was fairly boring during the week. A neighbor/friend of the family asked me to help her with making play lists in Apple Music. There's two ways that could've gone and I'm happy to report it was actually a ton of fun.

I did start using my One Pass for a gym membership in Cincinnati. I'm not using it to it's full potential, but I have big plans for when I get to MN.

Saturday we went to Ault Park and looked at all the magnolias. It was lovely. For supper, I got to see a friend for Skyline. She has 3 boys. I loved the chaos.

Sunday I got a surprise trip to the Apple Store. My neighbor that I'd helped earlier had some catastrophic failure of her iPad and she needed a new one. I went with her mostly for company and entertainment. In the afternoon I hung out with my Aunt and her family again.

The most useful thing I did Sunday was put Mom in different stack height shoes on her different feet. I'd begged her just to try it walking the length of the house and see how it felt. 9 hours later...

Monday we went to Costco. Mom and I are still friends.

Tuesday was the only day this week I worked. This was mostly by my choice.

Wednesday - Friday I had off and generally hung out with Mom and Dad. There's lots of good sports on. Thursday night my cousin and his family came over. We made Moon Beams. Moon Beams with a five year old is chaos in the best way.

Saturday was my last day of the trip. I went down to my aunts house one last time. Several family were over and we had a nice visit.

Sunday was driving day. I left Cincinnati around sun up. I ran in Wisconsin, at whatever rest stop is about 70 miles from the MN border. It was my least favorite rest stop run.

When I got home, Captain Smiley made me supper.

I'm gonna put this here now: It's currently Sunday night, March 19. It's all over the internet that the former president anticipates being arrested on Tuesday March 21 and he's encouraging his supporters to riot or something. Also on the internet are the news stories indicating the grand jury is still interviewing witnesses so there hasn't been a vote to indict, so who knows. Dad made me promise to get food on Monday and hunker down on Tuesday just in case. He's taking it seriously but to me it sounds like such a joke.

I'll come back in a few days and read this and let you know what happened next.

2023/03/cincinnati-2023.htmlnoreply@blogger.com (:))0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9495911.post-6793417336555365936Mon, 20 Mar 2023 10:00:00 +00002023-03-20T05:00:00.200-05:00Florida2023Florida 2023 - Goodbye Florida
Saturday March 4:

I woke up, did my run, took a shower, and did a final cleaning of the house including washing sheets and towels. I had a wonderful time and I'm sad to go.

But...

I headed over to the Atlantic Coast to see an old friend from Zumba. I'm sure she's been on the blog before, but I've never give her or her spouse a blog name. Zumba Friend reminded me it's been about 5 years since she moved out of Minnesota.

I got a driving tour of her town, including the historical sites and the inns. Then we had dinner and stayed up talking until everyone was falling asleep mid sentence on the couch. We had a great time both catching up and getting to know each other better.

Sunday March 5

Zumba Friend took me on a walk. My last walk in Florida for this trip. Then it was time to hit the road.

I drove up to Clinton TN, which took roughly 10 hours. I did my mile run in a rest stop in Georgia. This was my favorite of all of the rest stop runs on the trip. (There were several).

Monday March 6

I drove from Clinton up to KY and then Cincinnati.

My first stop was in Berea, KY mostly to drive down memory lane (literally). It was also where I had my favorite run of the trip. Because it was such a pleasant surprise.

Next it was up to see my aunt (it was her Florida house I was in). We hung out for the afternoon. I told her Mom would be working and Dad would be playing golf so she was stuck with me.

If you're keeping track, yes, I did see my aunt before Mom and Dad. It's fine.

Next up: Cincinnati.

2023/03/florida-2023-goodbye-florida.htmlnoreply@blogger.com (:))0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9495911.post-8316623025203501342Mon, 20 Mar 2023 08:00:00 +00002023-03-20T03:00:00.216-05:00Florida2023Florida 2023 - Last Week
After my excellent adventure day, the rest of the week was fairly tame.

Tuesday - Dungeon Master left for Minnesota and the house was just, extra empty without her.

Wednesday - Friday were mostly prep for leaving the house. I ate a lot of the random things to get rid of the food. Note to my future self here: five dozen eggs lasted 'till Thursday of this week.

Friday was a lot of cleaning, and just wanting everything to be perfect for leaving.

I was almost used to the heat by the time I left.

2023/03/florida-2023-last-week.htmlnoreply@blogger.com (:))0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9495911.post-8571187141328134900Mon, 20 Mar 2023 07:00:00 +00002023-03-20T02:00:00.209-05:00#trailpornCREWFlorida2023Florida 2023 - Adventure Day: Getting back on the horse (Feb 27)
Today was a solo adventure day back at the CREW Flint Pen Stand Trails.

I re-did the orange trail loop. Correctly. It was a nice day and I think I was able to be helpful to some people.

Adventures in house sitting: First adventure came when workmen showed up. They assured me they're supposed to be here to work on the roof. Sounds legit. Who am I to say no.

Second adventure was when I asked the neighbor/caretaker if he could look at the dishwasher and make sure that water was running to it. He moved some valves. Then I ran the dishwasher's rinse cycle and water was running to it. I know that because all the water stayed in the bottom of the dishwasher. When I called neighbor back to see if he could continue his problem solving, he suggested I just let it be. With some divine intervention the sucker did finally drain. We'll be washing our dishes by hand on this trip.

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="400" src="; width="300" />
Run: I ran at my lunch time, which is 3pm local, and then I did a few weights. This was also a special place. If Mom had come with me, she really would've enjoyed it.

Bahia Honda State Park: Was hard on my bucket list and one of the things I was super excited for (along with eating seafood out of a shack). I love that beach. And the water. The water is really shallow and has a lot of sea grass and other non-stingy, non-scary things to see. I swam, I walked along the shore and looked for shells, and then I napped a minute.

One last shack: We hit the Cracked Conch on Marathon Key. Totally worth a stop. I think Dungeon Master was done with my seafood shack needs by then, but this place had a lot of other really nice food so all was well.

And then we drive: I finally just gave up worrying what anyone things and listened to my weird podcasts on this drive home. In Defense of Plants told me about orchid bees, which are a thing. No Stupid Questions told me about working on an airplane. And I think that's all I heard before Dungeon Master got on a conference call.

We got in before 10pm local time and headed to bed.

2023/03/florida-2023-february-6.htmlnoreply@blogger.com (:))0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9495911.post-6434800658405052150Sun, 19 Mar 2023 09:00:00 +00002023-03-19T04:00:00.256-05:00Florida2023Island LifeKey WestLandLsExcellentAdventureFlorida 2023 - February 5
Travel to the keys day.

In a surprise move, I actually used the hotel treadmill. Because it was raining cats and dogs when I woke up. There was technically a sidewalk by my hotel, but not really. It just wasn't worth it.

Then, we drove. The ride from the mainland to Key West is just slow. The speed limit in a lot of places is 45mph, and there's very few opportunities for passing. Luckily, it's gorgeous. Dungeon Master was curious how I'd do but the bridges didn't bother me at all. I'd been over them before so I had an idea in my mind of what to expect.

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="300" src="; width="400" />

Ft Zachary Taylor: First stop in Key West was a state park. Luckily it was culture day so everyone was dressed up in costumes telling us about their life in the civil war. It was fascinating. Long story short: Florida did secede from the union, but the Union always held the Florida Keys.

Southern Most Point: It was very important to Dungeon Master to have a picture next to the buoy. So we waited in line and did the thing. I totally missed all the iguanas on the rocks the first time around.

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="800" src="; width="600" />

Fried seafood: I was on a mission to basically eat all the fried seafood I could find, and bonus points if it's from a building that looks like a shack. It was at about this time we discovered that several shacks are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Boo. DJs clam shack was open and they did me a solid.

Shopping: We got some souvenirs, including for the person who's watching my plants, and my most favorite 3 year old. (Side note here, I really only know one 3 year old well. Thanks Pooky.)

<a href="; imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="300" src="
