The new book will release on Feb. 2, 2027. The writer made the announcement in a social media post Tuesday."'I wrote a sequel to The Love Hypothesis' is not a sentence I thought I’d say a year or so ago, but now I weirdly can’t imagine a world in which The Two-Body Problem doesn’t exist. I’m really eager to talk more about this book and how it came about in the next few months," Hazelwood wrote. It debuted on Prime Video Sept. 23. Claire Scanlon directed the film that stars Lili Reinhart and Tom Bateman.Additionally, Hazelwood confirmed that MRC is developing a sequel film based on The Two-Body Problem for Amazon MGM Studios, though she said "nothing is guaranteed.""As someone who gets VERY attached to stories and characters, I know that unannounced sequels can be blindsiding, so feel free to skip this book and overwrite it with whatever headcanon you prefer, and I’ll see you on the next one!" (Paula Lobo/ABC via Getty Images)ABC News' correspondent Will Reeve is opening up for the first time about receiving a cancer diagnosis just months after getting married.Reeve, a New York-based correspondent, reporting for ABC News platforms and shows including Good Morning America, said on Tuesday that he was diagnosed in April with testicular cancer, a cancer that develops in the tissues of one or both testicles, according to the National Institutes of Health's National Library of Medicine.Reeve, 34, said his wife, Amanda Dubin Reeve, whom he wed in January, encouraged him to get evaluated by a doctor in April after he noticed a lump in his left testicle. An ultrasound discovered a mass in his testicle, requiring Reeve to undergo a procedure known as orchiectomy to remove his testicle. The surgery in early May led to a diagnosis of testicular cancer, according to Reeve. He said he was diagnosed with embryonal carcinoma, an aggressive form of testicular cancer that is typically found in young to middle-aged individuals.Following the diagnosis, Reeve said he underwent a second surgery, a retroperitoneal lymph node dissection, in June to remove dozens of lymph nodes to help prevent the cancer from spreading.Because some of the lymph nodes removed during the six-hour procedure were cancerous, Reeve said he chose to undergo two cycles of chemotherapy to lower the odds of the cancer returning to nearly 1%.In early July, Reeve began chemotherapy.During his two weeks of recovery between his chemotherapy treatments, Reeve said he experienced side effects including bone pain, ringing ears, night sweats, blood clots and headaches. At the end of July, Reeve was able to ring the bell at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City to signify the successful end of his treatment. He said he did so with the thought of his late mom, Dana Reeve, who also underwent chemotherapy at Sloan Kettering. Dana Reeve died of lung cancer at age 44 in March 2006.Will Reeve said he is sharing his own cancer diagnosis to help raise awareness of testicular cancer."I want folks to know that this is a thing that can happen. It's shocking. It's weird," he said. "It's slightly awkward to talk about just because of what we're really discussing here, but that you end up OK, almost always."Tune in to Good Morning America this Wednesday and Thursday from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. ET on ABC to hear Will Reeve share more about his cancer battle, as well as input from a doctor and other cancer patients.Copyright © 2026, ABC Audio. (Paula Lobo/ABC via Getty Images)ABC News' correspondent Will Reeve is opening up for the first time about receiving a cancer diagnosis just months after getting married.Reeve, a New York-based correspondent, reporting for ABC News platforms and shows including Good Morning America, said on Tuesday that he was diagnosed in April with testicular cancer, a cancer that develops in the tissues of one or both testicles, according to the National Institutes of Health's National Library of Medicine.Reeve, 34, said his wife, Amanda Dubin Reeve, whom he wed in January, encouraged him to get evaluated by a doctor in April after he noticed a lump in his left testicle. (David Becker/Getty Images for CinemaCon)After the expected close of the Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery merger, the company will take on a brand-new name.CEO David Ellison has revealed that the company will be known as Skydance. He made the announcement in a post shared to social media on Friday."What once was the peak, is now just the beginning. Paramount and Warner Bros. shaped over a century of culture. By combining them, we aren't rewriting history — we're equipping these iconic studios with a more powerful engine. Together, we are Skydance: a creative-first home for bold, quality storytelling," Ellison wrote. The $110 billion merger is expected to finalize on Tuesday. Ellison pursued the merger for approximately a year. Additionally, a two-month delay was caused by antitrust lawsuits from 12 states and the Writers Guild of America.Ellison explained why the name Skydance was chosen."First and foremost, as we bring Paramount and Warner Bros. together, we wanted to preserve what has made each of these studios iconic. Both have distinct identities, extraordinary legacies and brands that have resonated with audiences for generations. We never wanted a new corporate identity to diminish, alter or overshadow either one. Instead, we wanted a name that would give the combined company an identity of its own while allowing Paramount and Warner Bros. — and all our extraordinary brands — to remain in the spotlight," Ellison wrote. He continued by writing that he has big goals for Skydance and that he "intends to purse them with passion, imagination and a willingness to take smart risks.""At the same time, we will honor what makes Paramount and Warner Bros. special — giving both studios the opportunity to grow, tell more great stories and bring those stories to even broader audiences around the world, powered by the scale and capabilities of Skydance," Ellison wrote. "I couldn’t be more excited about what we’re going to build together."Ellison founded the film studio Skydance in 2006. Skydance acquired Paramount in August 2025.Copyright © 2026, ABC Audio. (Matthew Taplinger/CBS)History was made when Rick Devens was crowned the winner of Big Brother season 28 on Thursday night. The 42-year-old father of two is the first former Survivor contestant to win the game. Devens beat out this season’s second-place finisher Taylor Brown in a 6-1 vote. After winning the season's final Head of Household competition, Devens made the decision to betray one of his closest allies, Drew Campbell, by casting the sole vote to evict him.Devens brought Brown to the final two chairs, where Campbell and five other members of the jury — Angela Murray, Barrett Pfeiffer, Yash Patel, Melody Morris and Dee Valladares — voted for Devens to win season 28 of the reality competition series. LaTrice “Lala” Verrett was the only vote for Brown to win the game.In addition to winning the season, Devens became the second person to win both the game and the fan-voted America’s Favorite Player award. The first to do so was season 24 winner Taylor Hale. This means Devens won an extra $50,000 along with his $750,000 grand prize.Additionally, Devens unleashed a twist in the house during the season called The Pharaoh's Curse, where he snagged an additional $10,000. Because of both wins and the additional $10,000, Devens cemented himself as the player to have won the most money in the history of American Big Brother with $810,000.Even more Big Brother is on the way. Host Julie Chen Moonves confirmed that the series has been renewed for two additional seasons, 29 and 30, and promised the audience she will see them back again next summer. Copyright © 2026, ABC Audio. (Stefano C. Montesi)When Angelina Jolie first read author Alessandro Baricco's book Senza Sangue, it took her on a journey.Jolie assumed she knew what was going to happen at the novel's end. But as she kept reading, the actress, director and writer realized she had made the wrong assumptions about where the story was heading."Knowing all I knew about conflict or anger or what we do or revenge, I thought I knew where it was going. I thought I was quite sure where it was going," Jolie told ABC Audio. "More than that, I thought I knew where I wanted it to go."Not only is Jolie familiar with survivors of real-life conflict through her humanitarian work, she's also directed three films about war and conflict: In the Land of Blood and Honey, Unbroken and First They Killed My Father. She knows the expected story beats in projects like this. Most of the time it's either "you get the revenge or you don't" or "you get the resolution or you just don't," she said. But Baricco's novel does it all differently. Instead, it takes the two leads and has them sit across a table from each other and talk. They learn from each other's experiences and decide they don't actually want whatever revenge or resolution they thought they may have wanted prior."It matured me. It educated me to read the book," Jolie said. "I think it's an important thing to put out there today because there's so much about being absolute on this side or that side or right or wrong or for or against."Jolie hopes audiences learn through this story that it's OK to say "'I don't know' and 'I'm trying to listen' and 'I am trying to understand' and 'I'm still trying to figure out myself.'""For any person that's had any level of trauma or conflict, I think it's important to want to go more deeply and not just sit with being right," Jolie said. "It's an important discussion."Jolie adapted Baricco's book into the screenplay for Without Blood, the new film that is currently playing in select theaters. When it came time to choose who would take on the starring role, Jolie looked to her Eternals co-star Salma Hayek.Hayek said she and Jolie have "amazing creative teamwork" and that Jolie balances her out really well."I put this experience completely separate than any other experience I've ever had. It's just not even, I cannot even compare," Hayek said. "I've had other experiences that have been life-changing experiences in a different way, but this one has to do with the film because I had my judgment about what was happening and the book itself and the character itself. And throughout the process of making the film and being directed by her, I was so open."It wasn't simply that Jolie was "an amazing director," but Hayek said the film was a "very special experience" because of the knowledge Jolie has about the subject matter.Jolie "understands war like very few people, because she has been in those places of conflict. And she understands the big scope. And the intimacy of just being a human in conflict," Hayek said. "On top of it, she's also an actress, so she understands us like no one. It was just ... such a very special set of circumstances coming together that it's very hard for them to happen again." Copyright © 2026, ABC Audio.
