Heavenly Father,
We come before you today with heavy hearts for our community. We pray for unity and love to be spread among us, for peace to reign in our streets and for your light to guide us in these troubled times.
Lord, we ask for your strength and protection for those who serve our community – our leaders, healthcare workers, volunteers, and essential workers. Give them wisdom and courage as they face the challenges of caring for our community.
We also pray for our neighbors and friends who are struggling, whether it be physically, emotionally, or financially. May your healing touch be upon them, and may we, as a community, come together to support and uplift one another.
Lord, we ask for forgiveness for any division and hatred that may exist in our community. Help us to see each other as your children and to love one another as you love us.
We thank you, Lord, for the blessings of community, and we pray that you continue to watch over and guide us as we strive to make it a better place for all.
In your holy name, we pray.
