Prayer for Baptism Wisdom

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come to you today in prayer, recognizing the importance of baptism in the life of a believer. As we read in your Word, baptism is a symbol of our faith and obedience to you. Through baptism, we are united with Christ and become part of your family.

We ask for your guidance and wisdom, that we may understand the true significance of baptism. May it be a reminder to us of your love and grace, and a commitment to follow in the footsteps of your Son, Jesus Christ.

We pray for those who have not yet been baptized, that they may have a desire to publicly declare their faith in you and receive the blessings of your Holy Spirit. May they understand the cleansing and renewal that comes with this sacrament.

We also lift up those who have already been baptized, that they may continue to walk in the path of righteousness and remain faithful to you. Let baptism be a constant reminder to them of their identity in Christ and the forgiveness of sins.

We thank you for the gift of baptism and for the opportunity to publicly proclaim our faith in you. May it always be a holy and sacred act that reminds us of your redeeming love. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus.
