What to Expect

What's new on the platform. How to build with it.

Dev Platform Playground is HubSpot's quarterly virtual workshop series for developers and builders. Each event opens with a platform keynote, then moves into demo-heavy technical sessions with Q&A built into every block.

This edition is built around the Spring Spotlight 2026 builder announcements — three of the biggest updates landing this quarter, covered hands-on by product experts . No slides-only overviews. Just working code, real use cases, and direct access to the product team.

Who should attend?

Built for builders who are ready to go deeper.

Dev Platform Playground: Spring Spotlight is designed for developers and technical builders who want more than a feature announcement — they want to understand what it unlocks and how to start building with it.

This event is for you if you're:

  • A developer building integrations on the HubSpot platform
  • A solutions or technology partner looking to stay current on platform releases
  • A technical lead evaluating what Spring Spotlight means for your team's roadmap
  • A builder comfortable with AI coding tools who wants to see how they work with HubSpot's dev environment

Every session includes live demos and dedicated Q&A time with the HubSpot team.

Agenda

One track. Three in-depth sessions. Zero filler.

11:00 AM ET

Dev Platform Playground opens with a Spring Spotlight keynote from Daniel Jacobson — a rapid-fire tour of the biggest 2026 platform releases for builders. New APIs, AI development tools, app extensibility, and what's on the roadmap ahead. Sets the stage for the hands-on sessions that follow.

11:23 AM ET

Make HubSpot look and work your way.

Full-page layouts and code sharing are now supported in UI Extensions. Brooke Bond and Paul Gaskin walk through CRM card design, App Pages layouts, and the Essential App Collection — with best practices for building experiences that feel native to HubSpot. Q&A included.
