Bursting with energy, swing, and remarkable young talent, Barcelona’s internationally acclaimed Sant Andreu Jazz Band brings its celebrated youth big band to the stage under the direction of bassist, saxophonist, and educator Joan Chamorro. Featuring musicians ranging from roughly ages 7 to 21, the ensemble breathes fresh life into the music of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, bebop, and beyond with the kind of joy and musicianship that has earned them audiences around the world.
